Title: Rug received was materially different from the product shown

I ordered a 4x6 Kelda Taupe Wool Rug based on the product image shown on the website. What I received looks dramatically different. The website image shows a very subtle, low-contrast design with numerous small botanical and animal motifs. My rug arrived with much darker, higher-contrast colors and extremely large motifs, including animals and plants that take up substantial portions of the rug.

When I contacted the company, I was told that the website photograph is of a larger rug and that because I ordered a smaller size, the design is different. This was not something I was aware of when purchasing, and I would not have ordered the rug had I known that the pattern on my size would look substantially different from the product image.

I was then told that my order was “FINAL SALE” and therefore not eligible for return. My order confirmation identifies a 10% promotional discount, but nowhere on the confirmation does it identify the rug as final sale or non-returnable.

I contacted the merchant first and gave them an opportunity to resolve the issue. They refused the return, so I have now disputed the charge with my credit card company.

Buyers should be aware that the product image may not represent how the pattern will appear in the size they purchase, and I strongly recommend confirming the return eligibility and requesting an image of the exact rug size before ordering.

Do not order! No returns process in place and almost no information on this on the website. I noticed they have very recently updated this now to say only full price items can be returned. I didn't receive any dispatch information about my rug until I chased it, and then suddenly was told it was about to be dispatched. It arrived 3 weeks after ordering. When I received the rug, I decided I didn't want to keep it as it wasn't that nice compared to the website images and emailed them on the same day. I was strung along with vague responses about sending photos of it in the packaging and then told to arrange the return with DHL or UPS but still wasn't given any return address or details. Eventually after much chasing and emailing I was told they were struggling to arrange a collection and to keep the rug as a gift and that the amount would be refunded, which of course it hasn't.

I bought a sale item and wanted to return it - there is no telephone number for this company . Had to chase for a reply ( sent msg by web form ) they came back and said you cannot return sale items !!!!

Avoid at all costs. Scammy behaviour.

On paper, they look legit and have a sale that ends in less that 24 hours! In reality...that sale is every day, and then you cannot return discounted items. That's how they get you. So you are out £££, receive something of subpar quality, and can't return it.

I have literally created this trust pilot page to warn people since I couldn't be warned.
