No delivery, no refund & no response

No delivery, no response to emails and no refund sent, nearly 2 weeks and I've had to raise a refund case with paypal. Very annoying & wouldn't use again.

Thank you for your review.

We are sorry this happened. We are limited on staff at the moment with many dealing with 100 cases a day so it can take some time to investigate however that is no excuse and we strive for a better response time. We did not receive all your emails however upon investigating your case further we did cancel the order when requested but took some time to come through to our systems. A Paypal case was then setup and we actioned the refund right away once we had confirmation from warehouse that the order had not been dispatched.

We are assuming you will not use us again as the order was cancelled in the first place prior to the unfortunate delay in getting this refunded for you.

Nice and speedy delivery but that’s it

Nice and speedy delivery. Order a bag for my scooter. To be fair got what I paid for. Nothing special. Bit of a squeeze over the handle bars and it has no structure to speak of.

Knowledgeable Transaction

Customer services were easy to deal with. Any quaestions that I asked were replied to very quickly and comprehensively. When I decided and bought (Segway Ninebot Max G30E II) a full delivery schedule was sent immediately. They use APC Overnight for deliveries and the next day delivery was even half an hour earlier than estimated. All in all, an enjoyable and satisfactory buying experience. As an added bonus, the price was the lowest I could find online and they still performed well. Strongest recommendation for this company.

Buy your scooter somewhere else!

The scooter I received doesn’t have the same specifications as it is posted on the website.
I even asked them to update the the specifications on the website but still nothing. The Segway-Ninebot F40 has the maxim speed of 25km/h, not 32km/h what you are advertising. you answer to my review saying that I changed my mind? YOU DIDN’T SEND ME THE SCOOTER I ORDERED! Speed is very important when you buy a scooter!
After many emails back and forth they finally send a company to collect it which works Monday to Friday 9 to 5 so if you work during this hours you need to take a day off as you don’t get a time slot.
Also you need to pay for the return even if it’s their fault to send you a different scooter.
I recommend you buy your scooter somewhere else!

I am sorry to hear you feel disappointed with the service we offered.

Looking back at your case it is clear we communicated clearly and quickly to your emails, arranging a collection with our third party courier to return the item. As the customer changed their mind a collection fee was applicable. If the scooter was faulty or defective then the return charge would not be applicable. This was made very clear to the customer and part of our terms.

We have no control on the terms of the courier we arrange collection return with therefore we would suggest you speak with them regarding your feedback of time slots.

We are disappointed to read this review as we try our best to protect all of our customers by asking the courier to sign for being high value and desirable goods. Furthermore, we went one step further and arranged for the delivery to be made with a neighbour to ensure the customer received their order.

Bad customer service as they refusing…

Bad customer service as they refusing to replace my 4 day old escooter. I contacted klarna to stop payment made to scooter hub, and then they decided to give me a return lable because they know they will not get money so i returned scooter in perfect condition as only problem was speed limit, as soon as scooter hub recieved scooter, they told me the scooter have broken parts and so they will deduct money , this tells how scooter hub treats its customers.

We were in continuous communication with the customer to request the information we needed in order to assess the scooter and process a refund. We did not receive this information for a while and once we finally received this we processed the return for the customer.

The price is good but quality is nowhere to be seen.

I ordered a electric scooter for my daughter's birthday. The scooter came within 2 days, but the box was damaged and was held to getther with tape (obviously had been opened previously), scooter hub blamed this on the courier. The night before my girls birthday, I opened the box and put the scooter together, the on and off switch would not stay on. Brilliant, now I've got a unusable scooter and a let down daughter. I email scooter hub as phone number dose not get answered. The reply was very robotic and unsympathetic, but they did arrange pick up after jumping though hoops to send them videos of the fault and photos of the scooter as if i was on trial. The pick up time for the scooter was an all day appointment from 8-5. In the end I got a refund. All in all a massive waste of time, the price is good but quality is nowhere to be seen.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling, my daughter used her scooter twice until it broke, left her fir 4 months with no scooter, poor communication and attitude from staff, wasn’t able to speak to a a manger, issued a refund without my permission when I only asked how long a refund would take! Then closed my case without any explanation no compensation and left my little girl with no scooter. Shocking company be careful, I am also reporting this to trading standards! Discrace!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Edit- I did not ask for a refund! I have the proof in emails, I was told delivery would be 1-2 weeks not stock would be in in 1-2 weeks!!!! Also (professional? My emails from Tom the customer sales advisor says otherwise absolutely appalling attitude and customer service, my issue was never resolved and I received and email saying my case is closed and I’ve been issued a refund!!! liars!!! Do not buy from this company they sell cheap fakes from china!!!

Please note the customer edited their post and we can confirm we do not ever sell fake or copies. We only deal with authorised distributors and suppliers of the brands we sell and have a good working business relationship with all of our brands, with lot's of happy customers!

We have looked into your case and can see that we did correspond accordingly.

13th July -
The customer informed us of the fault on their e-scooter.
Scooter Hub requested further information including model, order number, videos and photos of the fault so we could assess this.

6th August -
We did not receive a reply to our request for further information until this date.
Once we received this information we confirmed that the scooter was faulty and that we would need to arrange collection for which we required further information in order for us to book in the collection with the courier.

22nd August -
The customer responds (again a delay in responding) with their details so we could book in collection.

25th August -
Scooter booked in for collection

30th August -
The defective scooter was collected by the courier

3rd September -
Warehouse confirmed safe return of the scooter and we asked if the customer would like a replacement or refund.

4th September -
We informed the customer that unfortunately, we were out of stock of this model but anticipated new stock in 1-2 weeks time. The customer confirmed happy to wait.

21st September -
Scooter Hub confirmed new stock had arrived (a slight delay due to shipping sea freight delays).
Customer was unhappy due to the slight delay but we tried to ask on a few occasions if the customer would like us to send out the replacement now that we have new stock of this model.
We did not receive a clear answer and therefore we were unclear on what the customer wanted us to do at this stage. We asked one final time if they wanted a replacement and as we still did not receive a clear response and implied they wanted a refund, we acted accordingly and swiftly by actioning the refund to resolve and close the case.

We are sorry if we did not meet the expectations of the customer and from our side we believe we acted and conversed in a professional and swift manner to try to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Scooter Hub is entitled to refund a customer if either we do not have stock or decide this is the best course of action to swiftly resolve a case.
