Great purchasing experience

At the Parramatta store I was given excellent, responsible and practical advice and a good recommendation for the best electric scooter for my needs.
The product range is extensive, and the customer service is great.

They lie to customers to deny warranties

My Bluetran Lightning which I bought from the Springwood store only 6 months ago, rear motor stopped working so I sent it to Scooter Hut for warranty. A day later after I dropped of the scooter I get a message saying that my warranty was approved and they have ordered a rear motor. 5 weeks later after they get the part I get another message saying that after further inspection they are denying my warranty because of water damage to the controller. I got my scooter checked out by another scooter shop where they showed me that there was no evidence of any water damage at all. Even the sticker that turns pink in the presence of water is still white inside the scooter.

They are basically lying because I have never ridden my scooter in the rain and have never gone tru any deep puddles. They are denying the warranty because they didnt diagnose my scooter properly in the first place. So when they finally started working on it they realized it wasnt the motor that was faulty but the controller instead. So instead of admitting there mistake they lied to deny me of my warranty.

I have sent the letter of assessment and pictures to them proving that there was no water damage but they still havent replied to me even after 4 weeks.

Firstly, I can confirm we never sent you a message saying this warranty was approved. This is an untruthful statement.

I have investigated this matter and can confirm that you have our photos showing water ingress in your deck. This water which we photographed and sent to you was found 5 weeks after initial inspection when the replacement motor arrived for repair and as such, your claim was denied due to water damage/ingress which had damaged and blown the controller inside the deck.

As your scooter no longer functioned as normal due to the water inside, your claim was denied. Again, as you can see this for yourself, we have not lied to you regarding this claim.

The sticker that turns pink in the presence of water was still white inside the scooter because the water didn't reach that area. Unfortunately, decks are not lined with these stickers, they're in indicator for easy assessment by technicians when handling repairs and warranties.

Riding your scooter in the rain or going through any deep puddles is not the only way that water can get into the scooter deck. I was made aware that this scooter was ridden through a wet grass field which you haven't mentioned in the review.

Water ingress is not covered by the manufactuer's warranty. Water was found in your deck and water damaged components were confirmed. Please send your letter of assessment through to info@scooterhut.com.au so that we can respond with the photos of water in your deck again to reconfirm with you that this occurred.

Put in a Kaabo skywalker 8s to get the charger port repaired and it turns out scooter hut don't know how to use a soldering iron (they taped the wires with masking tape and charged 200+ dollars.) I bet a man who half attended medical school in Guatemala and spends time drugging tourists and taking out there spleens and leaving them in a bathtub to wake up could do a better job. Just found a 3rd party scooter repair man who gets the job done 100% and for less price than this money laundry. Don't trust scooter hut.

I’ve phoned so called Customer care at…

I’ve phoned so called Customer care at least 7 times. I been at position 2 and position 1 ‘please wait to be connected’ then it just hangs up.
Certainly really bad service!
Yesterday I sent an email hoping that I might get an answer, but no of course.

Don’t buy from scooterhut.

Looked online for an e scooter,(supposedly in stock at Fortitude Valley ),ordered online, waited for 3 days with no updates. Called “customer support “, (kept timing out with no answer),then went to the store to check,(no idea, can’t access online ordering).
Despite having been charged there was no actual scooter in the store for me. (New stock had just arrived,but I couldn’t have one of those scooters).They said they’d email the online store). 2 days later,still no updates,(or replies to my emails),after several phone calls,I was advised that a refund was due,(but it still took 3 days to come through),the whole experience was frustrating & annoying.

For the past few weeks, my team and I have been missing in excess of 200 calls a day and recently surpassed 700 unanswered emails, so it's safe to say that we have dropped the ball here and are playing catch-up. $500 to fix and it is fixed although in the process they broke my headlights and want more $$ if I want it fixed what a joke

I paid $500 dollars for them to fix my Kaabo wolf warrior pro x but then after taking it home I found the headlights didn’t even work and there was never anything wrong with them when it went in to get fixed, then the technician said it’s my problem and I’d have to pay to get it fixed I’m never going back to those inexperienced people ever again they obviously don’t know what there doing.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. Did my research online and found the model I wanted was on sale and website said it was in stock. Drove out of my way to this particular store (it wasn’t my closest store), only to be told that they were out of stock. Sales person went to search when new orders would arrive and then proceeded to serve 3 other customers who came in after me, made we wait while he was fixing someone else’s brakes, I got fed up and just walked out. Worst sales person I’ve ever encountered, I’m amazed this place is still in business.

Unfortunately, due to website software system changes in October, we've been hit hard with many incorrect stock levels which cause issues like the one you ran into.

As for the service received in-store, I'm surprised to hear of this! Our store team members are often flooded with 5-star service reviews, so this is why your experience at our store is surprising to me, however, I certainly won't downplay the frustration the experience had caused.

Please do not buy from this company- I wish I had read the reviews before I bought the scooter- given its not mine I had very little to go on. totally agree with everyone else here- horrible service- their phone numbers don't work, they don't seem any customer service via email either- if you have issues with a transaction nobody to help you - will definelty be taking them to the ACCC and AFCA- don't say you willnoffer returns and not have a way of actually retiring products Iron out issues - quite dodgy STAY AWAY

Hey Shapi, thanks for your review! Unfortunately, our company is going through a tough time with staff shortages, staff sicknesses and upper management changes resulting in delays on normal processes.
Unfortunately, we've been missing 150-200 calls a day and have surpassed over 700 unanswered emails.
We're simply flooded and cannot keep up with the contact demands upon our business at this time.
Please note that our company has thousands of 5 star reviews and very few low-star reviews, reflecting our current 4.8/5 star rating on Google.

Wow where to begin with the scat show that is scooter hut malvern. That women that claims to know absolutely nothing about scooters is running a scooter shop. Go figure. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Snarky and straight out rude little b. She could definitely do with less scooters and more meat in her diet. God knows how they haven't had a class action put up against them for shady business practices. I'm sure it's not far off. Claims to not attend vulgar reviews. whilst tending to a vulgar review.... grow up. Get some pork on your fork

Don't expect too much.

I bought a Kingsong N11 from Scooter hut Fairfield. The staff were friendly and the machine runs well. I over tightened the wheel bearings and asked for help. They found a spare bearing and fitted it for me for $20.
I have edited this review to reflect the good service I received. Thanks Will and Moss.
Watch for discounts, a week after I bought mine the price halved. I was pissed off but not at Scooter hut. Just my bad timing.

Water damaged warranty claim to avoid replacing under warranty

Hi All,
Same experience like other below stating water damaged to the Electric scooter Mantis kaboodle.
Where they haven’t been driven in water and smoke was coming out of the scooter whilst charging.Hence it stopped working.
The scooter still under warranty but like other below they send me a link with $2000 repair cost.After the tech looked at it

Easy way to escape from warranty claim is to say it’s water damaged.That’s scooter hut policy

I apologise for situation that has caused your dissatisfaction.

When our technician team received your scooter, there was mud all over it, mud found inside the control box itself, and the water ingress stickers inside the deck had been triggered, indicating moisture or water had enetered your scooter deck.

Of course, we have photos of the condition of your scooter and the triggered water ingress stickers which I personally offered to send through to you for your persusal.

We also we're unable to verify that your scooter had smoke being emmited as we had no photos of this issue provided by you and no indication on he scooter itself that this issue had occurred.

As water damage is not covered by warranty, the manufacturer rejected your claim, so in turn we have done the same and of course provided a quote for repairs.

Again, I'm sorry that this matter wasn't resolved to your satisfaction.

I purchased a E-Glide Mach 10 from them…

I purchased a E-Glide Mach 10 from them which worked fine for about a month before developing an error with the controller… they organised a return for me to QLD as I bought online from TAS (no stores here)… I have been communicating via emails (pretty slow with communication… seems to be just one person handling support 🙁)… I finally hear that my claim is being denied due to ‘water ingress’… I rode through a bit of mud earlier on when first getting it but no water or puddles…so no not exactly happy with my experience so far… I imagine when they tell me how much the repairs are going to be I will be even less impressed 🤬
NB: they have had the scooter since 26th August…it is now 22nd September and all I have been told is that my claim has been denied…absolutely nothing from this “Hubtiger” portal for repairs that I keep hearing about???

I have bought 3 kaabo scooters from…

I have bought 3 kaabo scooters from scooter hut fairfield and with all 3 had issues. 1st one I bought was a Kaabo wolf warior gt paid 4950$ I took it for a test drive and on the 5th gear and 2 motors on wouldn't do more then18km. So I went home empty handed.4 days later I received a call from the store and they said they will give e me a new one so I went to pick it up and sold it the same day on ebay. The 2nd one i bought was a kaabo wolf king gt I paid 6300$ and I got rhe gold one.I drived it home to carlton from the fairfield shop and I noticed the battery was nearly flat, when it says it has 180km range. I called the shop and they told me it can't be the buttery but It might be something in the settings, so they transfered my call to a technician and told me to do a reset to factory settings so I did and all good for a week..Then every time I'll turn on the headlights the deck lights will go on and of for no reason so i searched and found one of the kables had broken from the really cheap build quality they all have. And this last one I got is again a black red Kaabo wolf king gt for 5700$ and i asked them if they can give me a better price now who this will be the 3rd one i buy of them but they diddnt even give me a 5cent discount after giving them all up 18000$. Now this warior king gt I got from.day one has been lightingup the error lights d makes it work on a single motor so 2 days later I went to t g e shop to show them and fix it and they said I will have to leave it in for a week or two.. So I was What?? I just bought a brand new scooter for 5700$ and from the same day I got it has been doingth this to me. I bought it cause I don't have nothing else to get around. So what I am saying is ibe given them 18000$ all up and the u didn't give me a 50$ discount, all 3 scooters I bought from there had issues from day 1 and the customers Service is rubbish So don't buy a scooter from scooter hat in Fairfield or any scooter hut. I believe they get Kaabo wolf wariors who are cheaper a b d hange the motto e s on them and displays and sell them for wolf king gt.

Don’t buy electric scooters from scooter hut

Bought a kaabo wolf king scooter from scooter hut. $5000
Brand new. Took the scooter home for a ride was all ok as went to turn the lights on the Lights on deck weren’t working.
Started to clean the scooter with a rag an noticed the a Cable was starting to rip an shred apart took it back to scooter hut an they said it’s my fault why this was happened. Scooter has only 25km on the clock, they wanted me to pay for the new controller box had fried cos of that cable that had been rubbing on the body, an the lights under deck. Like I’m happy to pay it if it’s my fault but it’s a bloody brand new scooter. What warranty is covered if something goes wrong?? How is it my fault.
All this is happening after 4weeks of it being in there workshop!
To only find out they only have 1 technician that works from Wednesday-Saturday.
An my scooter being my only form of transport hence the reason why I bought it.

I finally get it back after a month.
Been using it for a 2 months an now it’s back in for a controller fault.
Like did I buy a lemon. Like come on scooter hut get your game together.
I will never buy a scooter from them again.
I’m part of a electric scooter club an I’m not the only one who has had to deal with scooterhut with similar issues.
They are good with normal scooters but not with electric scooters

The WORST customer service I have ever…

The WORST customer service I have ever come across in my life. Went to the Fairfield store to buy a number of things. All 3 staff were not in the least bit interested in serving us. They literally ignored us, made us feel like a nuisance. All staff there had NO interest in helping us. And we were the only people in the store! Unbelievable!

Never Buy from Scooter Hut 0/10 Customer service

I bought a scooter and paid $2000 for it, it takes 3 hours for click and collect so i drive down to Newtown 2 hours each way to pick up item. As the online team closes at 4pm so I rang before to make sure it would all go through and I get advised my item has been flagged and I can not pick up item and can't get money back until atleast Monday. It took me 2 days off ringing to even get a hold of the online team. Customer service is 0/10 . I was told by online customer service he was going 2 check my order status this morning and get in contact with me which he hasn't. I go away for 3 weeks on Monday for work and I missing my daughters 6th birthday which I give her a segway kids electric scooter early and was going to spend some time on our scooters together this weekend. I will never ever deal with scooter hut again in my life. Thanks for wasting my money time and effort.

Highly recommended, this min go above and beyond, every time I purchase something for my son regardless.if how big or small it is there on point and going the extra mile to impress us,
When it comes to scooter parts there my 1st choice hands down, no need to go anywhere else, they know there stuff and bend over backwards for there customers, Thanks Scooterhut, 11/10 every time.

So slow and lies

So slow. I ordered a tyre from parramatta store so I could get it quicker as I’m close to there. A week goes by and nothing. Then a package turns up from QLD from some other company with the tyre in it. What a joke. Tried to find out where it is and no response. 2nd time I’ve done business with these guys and never again. They are shockers.
