Poor Customer Service

I ordered a light fixture through Scout and Nimble that was delivered damaged. When I reached out to customer service to resolve the issue, they asked if I was open to receiving a discount and keeping the damaged item. The next email I received was a week later, and it was an automated notification that a replacement part had been sent, without them taking my response to their first question into account or even asking if I was interested in a replacement. The replacement part that was delivered, almost 2 weeks after I had initially filed the complaint, was the WRONG part. I didn't realize this until I had an electrician already in the middle of installing the fixture. All the company could offer when I reached out was 'oh ok we'll send another replacement'! I requested a discount for the inconvenience and added cost, and they refused to offer it. Overall extremely poor customer service experience, I would be weary of ordering from Scout & Nimble.

While the incorrect part was an unfortunate error from the manufacturer, we placed a new replacement order immediately and have continued to monitor the shipment to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

Superior Customer Service

We are Scout & Nimble customers for life! Our dining chairs are gorgeous, and when one came slightly damaged, the team quickly responded and made it so easy to get a replacement. We have never had a team so available and responsive. Big shout out to Kileigh for her wonderful support!

A Stand-Up Company

‘Was originally very disappointed that the item I requested was on back order. When it arrived it was defective. Working with their Customer Service Department was the best part of the transaction! There was no hassle or argument - such a delight nowadays. Scout and Nimble responded immediately after realizing the problem couldn’t be resolved over the phone. I received a replacement table within just a couple of days.

Life happens … when a company stands by their word and product it makes your day. I can’t thank Kileigh enough for her help and professionalism.

I am an interior designer who has used scout and nimble for the first time. My experience was nothing short of fantastic. I had ordered some glass table lamps for a master. one came in broken and they were extremely quick to get a replacement sent out.
I would continue doing business with them!

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Hayley went above and beyond to support me through the process and stayed in touch every step of the way. Many things are out of the control of companies like this, so it’s important to keep expectations in check and give them credit for doing what they can to ensure a good experience. Worst experience I’ve ever had with furniture shopping - Scam Company – Avoid at All Costs

I ordered a buffet from Scout & Nimble and it has been nothing but a nightmare. They charged me upfront, delayed the shipment for six months, and when the item finally arrived, it was damaged.

After wasting even more of my time, they sent a shipper to pick up the damaged item. Once they had their product back in hand, they stopped responding to both my emails and phone calls and to this day, they still have not refunded me.

This company is completely unprofessional, dishonest, and operates like a fraud. They take your money, delay endlessly, deliver damaged items, and then disappear once they get the item back.

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from Scout & Nimble.

We’re very sorry to hear how frustrating this experience felt for you and truly regret that the buffet arrived damaged. That is never the experience we want for our customers.

For clarity, when your order was placed, this item was listed on backorder with an estimated availability of late July to early August. The buffet did arrive in stock during that timeframe and was shipped promptly. Unfortunately, the piece arrived with issues, and we worked with you through our claims process, which ultimately resulted in a return and full refund.

Your refund was issued on August 21st, so it should already have been received. We have also emailed you with your refund receipt for your records reflecting this. Please feel free to reach us at support@scoutandnimble.com if you have any further questions!

I love your website

I love your website. I bought the candle holders which I really like. But to be honest, your shipping is crazy expensive. Now that I know that I doubt I’ll do another order.

For small parcel orders under $300, we use a flat-rate shipping model of $19.95. This rate is actually a cap, meaning if a carrier quotes us a lower shipping cost (for example, $12), we’ll pass that savings directly to our customers. In this case, the actual FedEx cost to ship your candlesticks was higher than $19.95, so you were only charged our capped rate.

For future reference, we do also offer free shipping on all orders over $300!

Fantastic customer support

Hayley, the customer service rep who helped me, was super polite, responsive, and eager to help me resolve my issue related to a manufacturing defect that required my furniture piece to be repaired.

She contacted the furniture repair company and connected them with me in a timely manner. They came out and made the repair, and Hayley was able to get me a reimbursement for the cost of the service call.

I’m truly appreciative and impressed about how this was handled by Scout and Nimble- the whole experience was surprisingly smooth and pleasant!
