Poor quality Advent Calender

Purchased an advent calender from see’s. The quality of the flapped box that conceals the candy has low quality adhesive tape holding it together. Just opening up the container caused the lid to come off spilling candy all over. Even my 6 year old daughter, in trying to pull open a flap makes the whole cover lift off. I have to hold it down. Their website reviews has several complaints about this. I Won’t ever be purchasing another see’s product.

I purchased a box of assorted…

I purchased a box of assorted chocolates, and there is a HUGE difference in taste...a downgrade compared to how it used to taste. For years, Sees Candy would advertise the ingredients that make them so unique and tasty. There used to be mention/printed that they used Danish Creamery Butter. The quality, taste, and texture was always consistent. In recent years, I noticed that the taste is not even close to how it used to be, and no mention of using real butter. Spending over $30 a pound for terrible candy is not at all worth it.

Nothing to do with chocolate

Bought a box of mixed chocolate to offer to friends and family.It has been an embarrassment because everyone who tasted a piece could not finish it. Some discreetly spit it out; it’s made of sugar and artificial sugar - no taste of chocolate or filling. Never again would I buy or recommend sees candies.

On Tuesday I had a total hip…

On Tuesday I had a total hip replacement and my Niece in California sent me on Wednesday a box of your candies ( which I call my medicine 😉)
But coming all the way from California to Florida when I opened the box it was melted together and smelly !
In this heat across the country I totally understand! I sent my niece a picture and told her about it.... she called the store she dealt with on Wednesday eve and they were AMAZING ( she lives in Lincoln so whatever store that would be) and this morning my "Medicinal Care" arrived!!! Of course I had to have one right away!
So THANK YOU SEE'S FOR CONTINUED CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND SERVICE!!!!!!

Still great!

I wrote a 3 star review on 5/8/23 due to receiving a box of under sized pieces of chocolate covered marzipan. Today I was given a bag of chocolate marzipan and these were full sized with the delicious candy I've enjoyed in the past. I'm told the box of smaller pieces was pre-packed if that means anything.

Disappointed

I remember See's chocolate tasting so good many years ago...l just got a "Summer Variety" package 1 lb box today, for a grad gift. I tried several different pieces and they were not tasty, nor sweet! I was confused about this, remembering my former tasty experience.

Had a great experience at the Clackamas…

Had a great experience at the Clackamas Town Center location. Debbie P. Was very friendly and helpful and made my experience great. She helped guide me to the type of chocolate that I was wanting and steered me away from the kind I didn’t like (dark chocolate). I strongly recommend that you stop in and pay her a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

The best chocolate in the world

The shop is very clean. Always bright white and black checkers. The candy displays are so awesomely set up that it’s unbelievable. The workers are very courteous and kind, and offer you varieties of chocolate to taste. The candy is so Wonderful. There is over 100 different kinds to choose from, that is in the show case alone. The shelves are set up to show so many different things. I was there and every person who came in was welcomed. Also everyone was offered a sample right away. Yes chocolate has gone up,,, but what hasn’t. If you want very, very very very good chocolate this is where you go. If it’s someone special you buy it there. It’s not like a Reese’s peanut butter cup. That’s for sure. This was a Happy Valley Clackamas town center.

this is my 3rd and FINAL review of See's because i won't be buying it again. growing up, it was a real treat to visit our 'rich' grandparents and get offered See's candy because it was THE BEST and throughout my life, once in a while, i'd stop in see's at the mall and get a bordeaux candy or bar and it ALWAYS had that taste and texture that made it worth buying. a couple of yrs. ago-i thought to send boxes as gifts, to my mom, my best friend and to myself but the quality has gone WAY DOWN and the UNBELIEVABLE amount of packing just PISSES me off and i imagined my 91 yr. old mom, trying to open that and knowing she'd be as frustrated as i was. bordeaux USED to have the best taste and texture but NO MORE, now, it's just creamy and sweet but not SEE'S taste, texture or quality-my mom even said 'don't send me anymore of that'....it doesn't taste good. i have to say though-they do have ONE C.S. person who will do everything she can to try to make you happy but i told her-i think you're defending a co. who doesn't share the values you think they do and quality has definitely gone down. it made me never want to see another bordeaux bar.

RUDE Cayenne at the Vintage Oaks Mall store…

Cayenne at the Vintage Oaks Mall store in Novato, CA is the RUDEST employee I've had the significant displeasure of coming upon. I will never buy See's Candy again because of her poor service. She is rude, disrespectful, has no time or patience for customers. Retail is having a really difficult time right now, you need cuourteous employees. Why is she there? If she is like this to others, your doors will be closing soon. Your candy isn't good enough to put up with this kind of rude service. Your marketing ($5 off for purchases) is great, and induced me to return. Her discourteous service, however, has lost you at least two customers. I will also be telling everybody I know how rude CAYENNE is! TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Where is the flavor?

Where is the flavor? Berkshire Hathaway and Warren Buffett are going to have to get it together because this candy is horrible. See's Candy was better quality and more flavorful than Godiva chocolates but now it's just plain trash.

Not worth the prices they are charging!

I purchased sees candy last year online. won't ever buy their candy again. The premade boxes were probably warehouse products sitting there for god knows how long. I use to get them every year for friends during the holidays. I won't ever do it again. 1: The candy is hard and stale imo, and 2: there candy is just overpriced now. I learned to make homemade candy at home. Way better than sees imo.

Ridiculous customer service beyond unacceptable.

I walked into the Phoenix store on East camelback, and the employee never said a single word to me, only feet away; mind you there was only one other customer in the store checking out, I was never greeted or acknowledged the whole time. Another person walked in from the opposite side of the store and the employee immediately says welcome to Sees before they could get through the door. I just walked out and walked back into the store so I could see the persons name tag to file a complaint and she still said nothing. Very racially biased for sure, which is ridiculous to act this way toward any customer.

Horrible customer service

See’s really needs to train their employees on how to treat black men. My money spends the same way as everyone else’s. Not to mention your candy isn’t cheap if I was purchasing for myself I would have just walked out. They made me feel unbelievably uncomfortable! Very rude and unprofessional they couldn’t wait for me to get out of their store. I’ll never go back!

Poor customer service

I was in the Chandler store on Friday and bought St Paddy’s & Easter candy I spent quite a lot almost $200 but that was ok because I like the candy and the assortment. The girls were very busy but they were so nice to everyone and took care of people waiting very efficiently. I didn’t have enough candy so I went today and spent over $200. The cashier was very snippy didn’t say hello, when I tried to engage in conversation she completely ignored me. After she rang everything up and put the receipt in the bag she just left the bag on the counter didn’t say thank or here you go nothing at all. She didn’t even try to smile a bit. Her name was Natalie T. I will make sure when I go again I will never let her ring me up!!

i buy at least a pound and a half of candy a week. I only buy cashew brittle and they have gotten so small. any reason for that?

We have strict standards in place for the sizing and weight of each piece. We produce many of our products by hand. There may be some slight variation in the size of each piece from batch to batch. Please be assured that we sell our products by the weight so you always receive the total candy weight you are paying for regardless of the size of each individual piece of candy. We include only the weight of the candy when weighing our products. The weight of the packaging is never counted when calculating the weight of a box or bag of candy.

I cancelled an order an hour after…

I cancelled an order an hour after order but thr money was already taken from mt account. I called customer service and was told it would take 5 to 7 business days for the refund. It has been 14 days and still no refund!!!!
