Sega money over customers

Sega publishes Football Manager. A few years back, instead of a one off payment, the company linked with Netflix to release Football Manager. It now costs over £70 a year to play also giving me a Netflix subscription I don't want. Netflix has constantly claimed issues with payment methods. Each time there is an issue, I lose saved games. It's happened again and I now can't get back into the game at all. Have e mailed the company but no response received. Profit over customers apparently.

Sega used to be a great company

Sega used to be a great company. That is, until they legally went after Darius Khan. They accused Mr. Khan of theft of their property and IP theft. Mind you, he legally bought the devices. How do I know that, Waste to Wonder, the company Sega hired were to dispose of the items. At which point, when Mr. Khan bought the devices, they were effectively garbage. Literally, as they had been disposed of BY Sega.

A Corrupt Business

no attempts to reply to ticket inquiries after having contacted for customer support numerous times.

appears that they don't care about user input and will treat you as a disposable pawn on their platform.

doesn't take user input nor concerns seriously and doesn't address nor resolve any bans witheld from accounts, but the way customers are treated seems to suggest they love removing & censoring content.

they deserve a high-class action lawsuit.

Wow where to begin how incompetent are your employees anyone involved in the football management game should have their contract terminated with extreme prejudice and sued for loss of in come , you've lied to the entire fan base of football management about releasing a gaming march when clearly it was never going to happen , you didn't even have there enough respect to send out any updates so you sent out two statements and six months. Wow you truly care about your customers and fans. you could have sent up the latest roster updates as you have the licenses what you choose not to for money grabbing reasons. You still failed to apologise for any fault what expect to have customers in November 2025 I don't think so. I honestly hope your company goes bust and you lose everything you deserve it

It is beyond belief how disrespectful and disgusting your services at SEGA are!

AGAIN! disappointing to have not received an update regarding my complaint which was created by your services at SEGA!

Can you ensure that a Formal Complaint has been logged regarding this issue and update me with a Reference Number as your previous response was terrible and unprofessional.

You FAILED to acknowledge and apologise for your mistake which has put me at a severe detriment!

I look forward to hearing from your Brand Protection Manager.

Absolutely disgusting!

SEGA shop UK.

Hi SEGA, just a heads up, that your SEGA shop ran by Yellow Bulldog Ltd isn't really reflecting well on you, poor turn around times and customer service, might want to investigate as it reflects bad on your name.
They're also very misleading on their 10% off deal, and didn't honour it for me even though it doesn't say anything about exclusions before signing up for the offer!

Football Manager 2021 crashed a few…

Football Manager 2021 crashed a few days ago. An issue that effected a few people, due to an anti-virus software issue. From forum comments, I can see that the issue was resolved, but my game crashes immediately upon starting. I've emailed constantly for a few days, with no reply. I was initially getting swift replies on Thursday evening, well past their working hours, but that has since stopped and no one replies anymore, with the issues still unresolved. Just automated replies to say that they apparently have people available every day of the week, which is sure a lie or they just don't respond. Useless

I still remember when I was young one of my favorite Sega game was Sonic the Hedgehog I and my friends play it a lot and spend most of the time with them I felt sad with the recent news that the giant Sega arcade announces it’s closing for good at Akihabara.

UX is pretty good

UX is pretty good, idea with Shenmue remaster nice, but I would really like to see (and pay a lot of money for) is Skies of Arcadia Remaster. It is the best game ever. If you could keep the mood and improve graphics it will be awesome!!!

I never owned something from Sega in my…

I never owned something from Sega in my life, but now I have own personal PC and can play games on it every single time with the help of the emulators and that's really it. Do not bother with something else. Buy gamepad and feel Sega Mega Drive 2 personally;)

Very pleased with the service

I bought several SEGA games many years ago via Steam.
Since downloading the new Windows 10 update they started to crash whilst in play.
I contacted their Customer Service, half expecting a poor response because the games in question were so old.
I was pleasantly surprised with the service I received back.
Very detailed explanations on what to try, including the approiate download links.
I am glad to report that through their excellent service my games now work as they should.
To summarise:-
A very helpful, friendly service.
