I always use Flutterwave to send money, quick and easy, sent within minutes,

It is quite unfortunate that Flutterwave has not resolved this matter within the timeframe they originally promised. Since October 29-31st, we have been trying to sort out a refund related to a payment made for the purchase of a family car. The auto dealer in England refused to accept the transaction because the sender information displayed Flutterwave’s name instead of ours.

The Car dealer upon our request, sent the money to the England bank account provided by Flutterwave on 1st of December 2025 after trying several times to returned to the Sterling Bank account that serves as intermediary bank provided by flutterwave . The refund was completed on the same day, and Flutterwave confirmed that the funds had been received, assuring us that the return would be processed within 48 hours.

However, despite this confirmation, we still have not received the refund, not after 48 hours, not after several days, and now not even after more than one month and two weeks of constant follow-up.

This message is not to assign blame, but to request that Flutterwave simply do what is right and resolve this matter promptly. We urgently need the refund returned in Nigeria Naira the Account that the money was initiated from. Should we not get a refund, there will be further request to write Financial Ombudsman reporting their Flutterwave Account here in England.

We kindly ask that this issue be treated with the urgency it requires.

Crappy customer service. They say I will get my transfer on the 5th, this is the 6th and still nothing. I have sent emails and still they all give a generic response, "we are working on it". I even ask if I initiate another transaction will i expereince same, then "Rofiat" from customer service went silent. No timeline...nothing.
Now let's put.my theory to test. You will see how an automatic message will respond to this, telling me to send an email or "they are working on it".

The send app and flutterwave always has a problem while sending money, they take your money, confirm they’ve received the funds but it will take ages for them to credit the funds to the appropriate account. This is a big scam and a worrisome situation. Let everyone be mindful of this people. As I write now my transactions are nowhere to be found after they took my money. All they say is give us more time. Give time for how many days now?

Not wanting to refund the UK IHS Fee Paid!

I used Barter by Flutterwave to pay for my UK IHS fee on the 7th of June, 2022. For over a year, i have been requeting for refund of this money (as refund was done and applied for in parts). The money has been refunded to Flutterwave for over a year. I have only got one batch paid to me - without getting the other three. I've done emails and emails. Ive also called. It's always the lame excuse of "thier partners" are holding the money", or "we are working on this". The annonying part is that the refund is done in Naira, while payment was made in USD. People who paid via other platforms/banks have got theirs within weeks. I feel I've been robbed by this scam, peddled by Flutterwave. I have kept quiet for too long and will begin to speak up. Please, do refund me my money.

Since over a year, I have been requesting for a refund of this fee from Barter without any progress in this.

This flutter wave is a big scam
This flutter wave is a big scam, I guess that's why they have been banned from functioning in Europe. I made a transaction of 73 EUR since January 9th, 2024.

Up till now I'm yet to receive my refund which they claim to have refunded to my Revolut bank. My bank has advised they never receive the refund and till date being 4th January 2025 I'm yet to receive this refund.

Imagine the response I received from them very automated. That's the same thing I have been going through all year long with these bunch of incompentent company.
