SG Ammo REFUSES to ship to MA. They have ignored communications. After finally receiving a response, I provided a copy of MY FFL (I am a brick and mortar store located in Massachusetts) they still refused to do business with us. It is disheartening to see companies not support the 2nd Amendment in the states in which support is most necessary.

Edit for reply: yes I did email, and upon asking for clarification on your policy I was totally and wholly ignored. The fact that SGAmmo would not ship to any federally licensed firearm dealer is disappointing, and it is poor form to insult honest reviewers.

Edit to edit: Once again, calling people you could do business with mentally ill is one of the most unprofessional things I have witnessed in my years in this business. I am leaving a bad review because of a transaction you simply refused. You can sell ammo to this state and you refuse - that's why you're getting a one star review. If I could give you negative stars I would since your attitude speaks for itself. By the way, it's not impressive you answer your email on a Saturday, congrats you have mild responsibility.

Final edit- I'm done going back and forth with you. For full clarity, your bad review is for your attitude and the fact you won't do business in MA. You don't support the 2A or small businesses. I am also glad to not being doing business with you.

They ship fast enough.
Their prices aren't the best.
Their prices end up being about the same though, because free shipping on orders over $200.

Admittedly, their website sucks. But at least it functions.

Overall I'm happy and I keep ordering from them. Also I freaking love whenever a business claps back at bad reviews lmao.

(I rated 4/5 stars for the website. Again good company etc so far but the website needs improvement. One example is how you cannot sort by round count, forcing you to search through a hundred listings of 1,000 round cases to find a listing for boxes. Their search bar is also unreliable on mobile. (Brave browser, Android))

Still good enough to warrent repeat business, though. I'd also like to give an example of something they do right: There's a Winchester target ammo rebate that ends very soon. On all listings for eligible ammo, they have BIG disclaimers so you know about the rebate, and they also provide a detailed guide on how to complete the rebate. Nobody else would do that...

Edit: Changed rating to 5 stars because ammo consistently arrives at my doorstep in under a week. Sometimes it comes a day early. Also I'm biased because they stock PPU ammo in many different calibers. Also them having 3.5 stars is BS so I gotta change that.

Went to order ammo from them and they have this new liberal program that they participate in where you have to send them proof of ID and then you still cant order because that doesn't work.You dont have to take away freedom from some people because they are happy to hand it over when asked to. I just ordered it from a different company.

Great prices on ammo, no shipping if spending over $200, my go to place for 9mm and 5.56mm ammo.

They have equal to, or better pricing, than all the other online sellers. I had a larger order, and everything was packaged securely, and shipped fast.

Best online ammo sales and it's not even close! I've ordered tens of thousands of rounds online over the past 5 years and I rarely order anywhere else. Website is great, very accurate, and up to date. Shipping times have always been consistent as well.

It is 100% legal to ship ammo to a FFL in CA. SGAmmo refuses to ship ammo to California, even though it's 100% legal. They do not support gun rights by ignoring CA.

They say they ship in fast in 1-2 business days however the label for shipping didn't get created until the 3rd business day. Then they pick the slowest shipping method to my house. They tried to say I live so far away but other ammo shops further away get it to my house quickly so they just make excuses for not being good at their job. ALSO after they saw my review with the BBB the owners retaliated and canceled my order that was already on the way. Extremely unprofessional. DONT give these people your money.

I have been dealing with SG Ammo for years- never had one problem. They have reasonable prices and ship fast AND when the order gets in my area I get notified by UPS and can loosely see where the UPS driver is, a nice feature. However, my recent order was dropped off at the wrong location. I was made aware of the problem immediately by tracking. HOWEVER, ever tried to contact UPS and reach a person? I thought so!! It's literally impossible! All you get are pre-recorded "assistants" and choices that do not apply to your problem. I could not even put a claim in- for whatever reason! Finally, I sent an e-mail to SG Ammo explaining the problem and asking if they could do anything from their end. THEY DID, promptly responded, determined where the package was, and arranged for pickup and re-delivery by UPS! All the while, keeping me advised by e-mail (numerous e-mails!) To me, the mark of a company is not how good they are 99.9% of the time- but how they respond when something goes wrong- AND it wasn't SG Ammo's fault! But, they resolved the problem quickly and efficiently! They went the extra mile- IN MY EYES EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Your Web shows 20 cents each 223 bullet but will not let me order but the web will let me buy ammo that will cost more the double bat and switch very unhappy

Price is right free shipping or $200. Good quality. Recently just placed my first order and it was spot on with fast shipping and exactly what I ordered. You can’t beat that

I just ordered 1000 rounds of 223s my regular supplier for ammo was sold out so after some research I decided to give sg a try I was a little concerned because I thought 386.00 for a first purchase might be risky but I had a order ready to ship email in 8 hours and had my ammo at my door in 60 hours from time of purchase and its nice stuff and very reasonably priced I think I've found my second ammo supplier I'm very impressed with them and plan to order from them in the future nice job SG

SG Ammo is my go to site. Always get what I order fast and reliably. Great customer service and I like that they only advertise what is in stock. Prices are competitive and many times the lowest. No hidden fees or trying to gouge extra on shipping like some sites I have visited.

Always a pleasure to order from them. I have gotten several deliveries in a timely fashion and they package well. .223 and 5.56 are priced below live retail in my area and they have quality domestic and import names. Expect delivery delays more and more as of Fall 2021 since some clueless Potato in aviator shades has made it his personal mission to destroy the country for...reasons.

Recent order was a crate of 8mm Mauser and the folks at SG shipped it out quick fast and in a hurry. It’s exactly as expected and their customer service is exceptional; the can opener was missing from the crate but Sam wasted no time in fixing the issue. I’ve ordered from them before and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended especially if you need older or surplus ammo!!!

I ordered online and received it within 3 days with a flat fee charge for shipping, and the 357 ammo was exactly what I ordered for a very competitive price
