Quick dispatch, well packaged, tidy product that seems to be working well and I’m sure that it will become better and better as I learn to use it more. Considering the amount of modifications needed SoC have domestically a great job getting this kit to fit in the Gaggia case. My only real frustration was fitting - the instructions do have everything you need to know, are step by step and quite well illustrated. I did find them overly and frustratingly conversational and details of whys and wherefores kept distracting. There isn’t an easy ‘Use’ part of the instructions either. It needs are working IMO. But it does contain all the information to fit in the right order so this certainly shouldn’t put anyone off buying the kit!

The products are great and well documented - but the friendly fast and knowledgeable support is what really shined for me, some of the best i've ever come across for a range of products. Take your Gaggia to the amazing next level!

The only constructive feedback I have is about the timer, it's lush, brilliant at yining my extraction. But maybe a bit expensive? Plus it has to be at a certain angle to be able to read it, if you see what I mean.

Very helpful explanatory detail with my purchases for the PID kit and pressure gauge for my 2009 Gaggia Classic.

I ordered the PID, over pressure valve and pressure gauge kits. The detailed guidelines are impressive, and you really can't do wrong (pictures, warnings, reminders, etc...) The pressure reduction and temperature control improved my shots. Thank you!

The website was good and the customer service was good.
The shipping process was not. Nasty surprise of VAT and customs handling fees.
They say that this is disclosed on the website - but if it is, it isn't obvious.
They really shouldn't offer Euro currency - or shipping - without an EXPLICIT statement that there will be extra charges that the buyer has to acknowledge.

I had questions after purchasing a few items. I reached to Shades and heard back promptly. The response was detailed and resolved my issue. I purchased a PID, brew head, screen and gaskets. The items fit perfectly and are high quality. I would buy from Shades again.

Great quality and service. However, buying UK products from the EU is a mess after Brexit. I'd buy much more from Shades of Coffee if they had an EU office.

I recently purchased the PID kit for my Gaggia espresso machine from Shades of Coffee (plus the OPV, Brew Pressure Gauge, the Dimmer Mod and other parts) and I couldn't be happier with the results.

The delivery to Brazil occurred without any setbacks, and the installation process was surprisingly straightforward. The instructions provided were clear and concise. Still, after watching some videos on YouTube, the installation was even faster.

Every part felt good quality. It's clear that Shades of Coffee takes great care in sourcing high-quality components for their products, and it shows in the final result. Moreover, making coffee with my Gaggia has become a more enjoyable experience. The consistency and control provided by the PID make the process more fun and less stressful (no more crazy temperature surfing).

It's now a pleasure to experiment with different beans, knowing that I can trust my machine to deliver exceptional results every time.
