TV stand experience

Multiple pieces of a TV stand I ordered had chips / defects / scratches. I was able to successfully construct it, and fortunately the damage was to parts that are not well visualized now that it is put together.

Customer service reached out to provide a 25% refund for the bad experience, which felt appropriate as compensation. Would consider ShipIt in the future

Disappointing First Experience – Communication Needs Improvement

I run a Shopify store (LuxeByMimi.com) and used ShipItFurniture through Syncee for dropshipping. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.

A customer placed an order for a mirror priced at $268.79, but the item was never fulfilled. During that time, I attempted to contact the supplier multiple times via phone and email but did not receive a response. I also received an automated message stating that support is only available via email, which made the lack of follow-up more concerning.

After several days, I was informed that there was a delay due to initial payment verification for a first-time order. While I understand that processes like this can occur, clearer communication upfront would have helped manage expectations.

Ultimately, the order was canceled because the item was out of stock in my customer’s region, despite being listed as available. A refund was issued, which I appreciate, but the situation resulted in a chargeback and negatively impacted my business.

As a small business owner, reliability and communication from suppliers are extremely important. While I understand that issues can happen, I hope improvements can be made in inventory accuracy and response times to better support retailers moving forward.

*Update: I was emailed by this supplier on April 27, 2026. They stated that a refund was initiated. It is now May 13, 2026 and I have not received my money. I had to dispute the transaction with my bank.

Customer Service Very Responsive

Fedex lost my package, so I cannot review the quality of the furniture. However, I will say that customer service responded immediately and rectified the situation fairly. I will give them another try based on customer service alone.
