The goods arrived in good time
The goods arrived in good time. There was some minor damage that occurred in transit but this was dealt with efficiently by the customer service team. I am fully satisfied with my purchase and the service I received.

Apologies Torri Cantine
Apologies Torri Cantine, as this is a bad review for DPD really. But I'm so disappointed with my shopping experience. I placed my order on the 26th January. 12 litres of wine to be delivered direct to a large rented house where my friend was holding a week-long celebration with family and friends. I was surprised to receive such a quick delivery notification - it would be delivered on Friday 27th... Nobody was going to be at the house until Monday 30th in the evening so to be on the safe side I changed the delivery to Tuesday 31st. And I waited and waited. After much searching for updates, I find out that my parcel has been returned to Torri Cantine, and I have no idea why. It also takes Torri Cantine some time to find out and let me know that the parcel was damaged. On Wednesday, they offer to send it again, I agree. Again, I wait and wait, its going to come on Thursday.... I wait around for it...then its going to come on Friday.... at 6pm on Friday I'm told it will arrive on Saturday. As the event was ending on Sunday, I cancel the order and Torri Cantine offer me a refund. On Monday, on my way home to Ireland on the ferry, I'm still receiving delivery updates from DPD!!! Torri Cantine were very apologetic, and communicated well about the matter. But I'm totally gutted about being strung along like that, this wine was my contribution to the celebration and I kept waiting for it, believing it would show up eventually. All very embarrassing really.

We are sorry to hear you didn’t experience a seamless delivery from DPD with your wine order. I am afraid it was out of our hands with regards to the damage to your order and unfortunately it can take some time for DPD to let us know that a parcel has been damaged and for us to then re-arrange a new delivery.
We use DPD because we have found them to be one of the best delivery companies in the market but unfortunately we don’t have control over their deliveries. If you could please leave a review on their page that would be helpful in highlighting to them problems with their deliveries.

We understand it was frustrating for you to not receive the wine especially for a celebration such as this. We did advise that the wine was not guaranteed to be delivered in time and had you told us what it was for we would have offered a refund to you instead of re-sending the wine again.
