Be aware! Money charged no reply or order confirmation!

I placed an order with this company on the 11th of April. I was charged on my credit card yet received no order confirmation or receipt. I emailed them asking on an update of my order on the 14th of april - nothing. I wrote to them again on the 16th - no reply. Then I reached out to them on the 18th via instagram - again no reaction. Have I been scammed? Next I have no other choice than to reach out to my credit card provider. Wish I had read these reviews before placing an order! Please be aware!

Customer service is horrible

I ordere a coat and a scarf on the black friday sale. The order took its time to arrive, but that‘s fine, it was black friday. Both listed as the same colour. They weren‘t. So i requested a return. They took their time to process the request. Anyway i sent the package back at the beginning of january. It arrived a couple of days later. A week or so later i recieved an email saying that it‘s going to take 10-14 business days to process the order. That is also fine. Comes february i tried writing an email, no one answers. I write an email again, no one answers. I contact their instagram page and i get told they will have information soon. Well no. I message her again on a sunday, and she tells me mind you today is sunday i will check on monday. Comes monday, no one writes back. I thretened with involving a lawyer and guess what, i got my refund in 2 days. So definetly don‘t recommend. Customer service is HORRIBLE.

Absolutely terrible - Never received a $500 Coat

Absolutely terrible. Nicola, the founder is incredibly rude and makes excuses for poor business management. I ordered a coat during their Black Friday as a pre-order, which was supposed to ship out the first week of January.

Safe to say it is the end of January and the Curated Team has been nothing but rude, lazy, and full of excuses. Nicola lies and says the coat will come this week, and it is week three of her saying that. Save your time and money, please just purchase somewhere else. Nicola even threatens to increase the price and states we should be grateful for the price point as if it’s some excuse for terrible customer service.

I’m sure the coat is great, but honestly supporting a brand like this… I cannot stand for.

The worst customer service I have ever…

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve ordered a coat on 27.11 and still haven’t received neither money or my coat (it is now end of the January). I don’t want this coat anymore as it is almost end of the winter ! I regret ever buying from the curated. Don’t recommend. Please stay away from this company for your own good.

Trying to get my refund since January…

Trying to get my refund since January 6th. No one answers. On instagram someone answered that this will be fixed today (last Monday) but nothing happened yet… I used to love my pieces from the Curated but after seeing multiple recent reviews I’m afraid they became a scam.

Update:
They finally paid me back. It happened after I contacted the owner, Nicola, on her personal instagram. Goodluck.

Horrendous customer service

I have been a customer for about 5 years and have purchased 6 coats, 2 blazers, 2 purses, and 3 knits, many of which I have re-sold due to not being happy with the product (sizing, durability of the down coat, leather quality on handbags). The material and sewing of the coats seem to be high quality, yet the sizing has often been way off. The size charts provided have not been accurate in my experience, and the details and photos on the website are not at all helpful.
But here is the clincher - the customer service is an absolute nightmare. The communication is sparse to non-exisitent, orders can take months to arrive, and even then are often incomplete or contain incorrect items. Waiting for a refund can also take weeks, and usually not without multiple reminders.
Things completely derailed this fall/pre-Christmas season and the founder seems out of touch with the severity of the situation, comes across flippant in her posts on the community WhatsApp, and meanwhile posts "OoTD" on IGs.
All in all, there are much better options out there. Save yourself the hassle and stress from buying from this company.
It is worth noting that the Google reviews are showing more positive reviews, likely because in a group chat, customers have been offered gift certificates in exchange for proof of a positive review. Buyer beware!

I never received my order

I never received my order. The customer service is horrible and barely get some updates from them! The worst experience I had with a company. I am trying to get my money back but I am not really optimistic about that either.

I wish I could put 0 stars

I wish I could put 0 stars! I have placed an order since October 2025 and I still have not received it. Not only that but i) there is no phone where you can actually speak to someone to try and resolve any issues, ii) the customer service is terrible. They do not help you, you provide them with details to help progress the shipment, they provide wrong address to UPS and do not help in resolving any problems. I have also told them to send me a refund as I have yet to receive my order and they never responded. They have not even stopped responded to my emails!
TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! They were of course very quick to take my money when placing the order but no question about giving it back! Avoid at all costs! I am still trying to either get my order or my money back although at this stage I am so frustrated that I think I just want my money back.

I purchased a scarf on December 5

I purchased a scarf on December 5, 2025, but I still have not received it. I have been waiting for more than a month, and the only emails I have received are the purchase confirmation and a message stating, “We will contact you as soon as the item is ready.”

I was told that I would receive another update after Christmas, but I have heard nothing since then. Today is January 12.

I have attempted to contact the customer service several times by email, but I have not received any response.

After this experience, I read many negative reviews about this company and truly wish I had seen them before making my purchase. I noticed a large number of advertisements on Instagram, but it is difficult to understand how influencers are receiving products without issues while regular customers are left waiting with no communication.

I will never purchase from this company again. This experience has been extremely disappointing.

Chaotic and unprofessional

I waited nearly six weeks for a coat and received three completely different explanations about its status: first that it was in production, then that no restock was planned, and later that it existed in China. No one took ownership, and I had to chase basic information myself.

Direct questions were repeatedly avoided, communication was AI-generated (even included the prompt), and the issue was pushed toward a phone call instead of being addressed in writing. The order was eventually cancelled without explanation, while the same item shortly after appeared as “in stock” online.

This isn’t only about delay, but about lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism. Entirely unacceptable for a brand positioned as premium.

Horrible customer service

I purchased a Classic Coat from The Curated in February 2025. After less than one season of normal use, the back seam opened, which appeared to be a fabrication defect rather than wear or misuse. I contacted customer service on 8 September 2025. It took about 15 days to receive the first response.

The company offered to repair the coat and provided a shipping label. I shipped the coat, and according to tracking, it arrived on 23 October 2025. I was informed on 4 November that the coat was with a tailor and that the repair was expected to be finished later that week.

After that, communication became very limited. Despite multiple follow-up emails throughout November and December asking for updates, I did not receive clear information about the repair status or a return date. At one point, the founder acknowledged a lack of internal communication and apologized, but no concrete timeline was provided. Now, it has been two and a half months since the coat arrived for repair, and I still have not received it back or been given a tracking number. I am highly disappointed with the customer service, mostly at this price point.

I do not know when or if I will get my coat back.

Absolutely awful

I would really like to warn people about buying from this company. Others (who received their orders, unlike me) say the quality of the clothes is really good but from my experience their etiquette as a business is unacceptable and I would not consider buying again.

I was waiting for the NYC coat to come back in stock for months, then on Black Friday it magically appeared in stock and with a great discount code - fab. Ordered right away. It didn’t get dispatched and the only contact I got was the confirmation email but I continued to wait. However, I did some research and saw a lot of other people were either not receiving orders or refunds for months. Crucially, I also realised that anything purchased with a discount code is final sale and can’t be returned.

I tried to contact them for a cancellation/refund - multiple emails, Instagram messages, and my initial review on here - but no luck. Then on Instagram they posted they’d created a WhatsApp “community” so I tried there. After multiple messages over a few days, they initiated my cancellation and I got my money back. I am grateful they had this process in place but equally, why are emails and other messages being ignored? It shouldn’t be this difficult to speak to someone, especially considering the prices of their items.

Also during my contact on WhatsApp they said my coat would be dispatched in January. Does this mean they weren’t actually back in stock in November and they just wanted to sell more of them as final sale? One has to wonder.

Incomplete order, bad customer service

My coat arrived with no packaging and with no belt in the box. The Curated assured me they’d send the belt, and then simply didn’t. 4 months of emails later, still no fix. Overpriced brand, underwhelming service.

Will Not Refund Me

Working with this company has been a nightmare, I fear they are running a scam. I purchased a coat from The Curated probably a decade ago, and it was lovely. So, I went to purchase a shorter coat from them, but after trying it on decided it was too boxy and returned it.

That was over two months ago and they still have not refunded me. I can see from the tracking that they received the coat in mid-October. I keep emailing them asking to refund me the coat price (it was over $400) and they keep stringing me along by saying they will "look into it" and then they stop answering my emails. I am devastated - the coat was very expensive and while I was willing to pay that amount for a good coat, this company has now stolen over $400 from me by simply holding my money hostage despite having received the coat back.

Do not buy from this company. They cannot be trusted.
