When the data collection process breaks down, backend support is critical for the engagement experience. Opposite of what you get with ShowDigs. Total waist of time for both the prospective tenant, which makes it a total waste of time for us as the property owner.

AGENTS BEWARE – Extremely Suspicious and Massive Waste of Agent Time

My experience with Showdigs was a complete waste of time and raised serious concerns about how the platform operates.

Like many other reviewers have noted, Showdigs requires agents to sign up and then sit through an extensive training process that takes well over two hours. This includes videos, slides, quizzes, identity verification, and submission of personal information. After completing the entire training and being told I passed, I was issued a so-called “certification.”

Less than an hour later, I received an email stating that I was rejected, with the explanation that I “completed the tests too quickly.” This was after they acknowledged I passed all requirements and issued a certificate. That justification makes little sense and mirrors the experiences described in many other negative reviews.

At that point, Showdigs already had my full personal information and a copy of my ID. Based on my experience and the consistency of similar reviews, it strongly appears that the platform benefits more from collecting agent data than from actually onboarding agents to provide work. At best, the process is misleading. At worst, it raises serious questions about how agent data is being collected, stored, and used.

I also received correspondence from company leadership, which did not address the substance of the issue or explain why agents are certified and then immediately rejected. The lack of transparency is troubling.

I would strongly caution agents to read the reviews carefully before signing up and sharing sensitive personal information. I regret not doing so myself. The time investment alone is significant, and the outcome feels predetermined.

This experience has prompted me to submit complaints to appropriate regulatory and consumer protection agencies so that the handling of agent data and representations made during onboarding can be properly reviewed.

Proceed with caution.

Waste of time for Real Estate agents. You do online “training” and they will not move forward even though you completed training. Don’t waste your time with this one!

This has literally been the company from Hell in my experience. Theft, damage, nightmares galore. I WILL NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY AGAIN! The first time might be an accident , the 2nd could be bad luck, but FOUR times!

It seems like a good opportunity but living in Austin you're going to have to wait until they have clients. I applied, provided info for a background check, completed 2+hrs of training before showdigs revealed they had no clients and wanted to know if I wanted to do property reports. I told them to contact me when they had a paying gig. I didn't appreciate jumping through hoops for a possible future paid showing. If they take off in Austin it sounds awesome but now I am sceptical about their transparency what else haven't they told me?

I am a licensed real estate agent in Portland and have been working with Showdigs in an independent contractor role for over a year now. The work is fun, rewarding and pays well. It is the perfect side gig for an agent who wants to network and learn more about the rental market in their communities. The Showdigs team is amazing, I have never called the support line without a prompt and thorough response. The team is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are an agent in any of the markets Showdigs serves (they are growing!), and you want a sure-fire way to make a good and rewarding supplemental income, you should join the team ASAP!

Can't imagine trying to run my property management office without Showdigs! Such an integral part of our overall offering to owners & prospects.
