DO NOT USE. MY UNIT WAS RAIDED AND CLEARED BY INTRUDERS. HEADQUARTERS STILL HAVENT CONTACTED ME AFTER TWO FLOORS HAD BEEN BURGLED. NO SECURITY OR CCTV. VERY UNSAFE!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Good morning, dears
It happened first time in my life that we are now paying money even we did closed unit at Shurgard self-storage from 9th May. We are paying bill £250 for nothing 8September.
That is true-corrupt company. Please be careful very very much – wrong Alperton Royal Park Shurgard storage. It was time when mafia did copied my art at storage. They not allowed to have direct debit, they not allow to change address. Now I understand—why.

Very helpful staff
Very helpful staff. The facilities are clean and easy to access with codes etc. Bit of a surprise to have to pay extra for the lock. Bit of a hidden cost. Was easy to book, although in my initial booking I was told the reservation would be held for 1month, it was cancelled after a few days without me asking to cancel. This caused me a bit of panic as I received the unexpected cancellation notice the day of my move, and I had to rebook in a rush. Otherwise a good experience. I’m happy I chose you guys.

Avoid this company
I have been with Shurgard for about a year. Then I get an email saying my monthly rent is increasing by £22. No explanation, nothing. This is their business model – it works because they know people will struggle to move to a different storage company without incurring more costs. Unethical, greedy. It's left a very bad taste.

Dear customer, we always try to provide our customers the best value for money and understand that a rent increase is never welcome. We invite you to your storage center to go through the different options and maybe move to a cheaper unit. Sure we will be able to find a solution together.
