A very well organised and presented course, very informative and easy to follow. Support from instructor/examiner was excellent.

The online skipper training was an excellent experience. The course was well-structured, and the theory sessions were both engaging and informative, thanks to a teacher who combined humor with precision — a great way to make complex topics easy to remember. Whenever I had questions or didn’t fully understand something, the team was always patient and ready to help. I can wholeheartedly recommend this training to anyone looking to learn in a professional yet enjoyable environment.

The online course was highly informative, well-structured, and clearly presented.

Excellent tutorials . Very clear and prompt communication. thanks very much much

I really enjoyed doing the online course. In fact, like a great book, I didn't want it to end. The content was so clear and well explained and it all came together in the mock and final exams.

Easy to follow material and responses were quick and helpful

I have enjoyed this course (RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Ocean Shorebased) greatly. It is thorough, extremely well-structured, and perfectly delivered with a dab of English humor thrown in every now and then. I have also benefited significantly from the resources linked to in the resources tab.

The course itself is split into two (unequal) parts, Yachtmaster and Ocean. The Yachtmaster part is the larger one, containing 17 modules, with each module containing the lesson (narrated videos, animations, and quizzes), and the corresponding exercise/solution. The modules cover the entire Yachmaster syllabus from charts to radar. Additionally, there are three mock exams (covering the different parts of the course).

The Ocean part is smaller, 13 modules all in all, with most of them dealing with astronavigation (a lovely subject).

I cannot recommend this course enough!

I found the course useful and comprehensive. Any kind of requested support was provided in no time.

Efficient, easy to use portal and app with speedy, friendly responses from instructors. Highly recommend.

Online courses are very well structured and it makes motivating to learn through the chapters progression.

A good way to learn the theory online. One can take lessons at any time, there are plenty of trial examples after every topic, and the final exams are fairly straightforward.

I’m very pleased to have completed (and passed) my RYA Day Skipper Theory following the course from Skippers Online.
An excellent self study programme, with well structured and interesting modules that made it enjoyable as well as instructive.
The responses to my assessments and exams were rapid and on point.
And I also have the sessions and RYA course notes on hand to recap at any time.
Highly recommended:)

Good experience, easy to navigate way through course.

I really enjoyed the Day Skipper Theory course with Skippers Online. It was clear, well structured and easy to follow at my own pace. The examples and practice questions made everything make sense. Would definitely recommend it to anyone doing their Day Skipper.
