i placed an order for a simple switch - 9 days later their website , still said 'pending' . no reply to live chat , no reply to emails , phone number is bogus , business address is bogus - they are SCAM MERCHANTS !

Still waiting for my parts to be delivered after weeks of them ignoring emails, phone calls and answer phone messages

AVOID! new customer and stupidly did not google the name before I placed my order, its now been 9 days since I placed my order , no contact from SKS, no parcel , order status just says "processing", they have not charged my credit card ,I have tried ringing them for the last 4 days 3-4 times per day no response just goes to answer phone , 3 answer phone messages left . x2 emails sent , No Reply to any communication .
GIVE THEM A VERY WIDE BERTH FOLKS!

Be aware. Many quality parts are advertised on this site at lower prices than the competition. Then, when you order them, they email with "this part is not available any more online, but was replaced with/or the part # was replaced with..." then he sells you for the same price a lower quality part. Search online, you will find the quality parts they say are no longer available, available anywhere else. Do NOT buy/order until they clearly confirm by email they do have in stock the exact part #number you saw on their site.

I have used this company numerous times after finding them cheaper than the other online discount stores and the quality of parts is first class. Always the latest spec as parts come direct from the manufacturers.

Ordered a new fan for Renault, sent numerous emails no reply.
Tried calling, again no answer goes to answer phone. Luckily paid my paypal so covered...

Not really a happy bunny tbh. Ordered parts, no ETA, emailed and apparently server was down, several emails and almost a month later still no part. Wasn't until I raised a Paypal dispute that I got a definitive answer of 'unable to source' and will refund and that took a further 11 days. Bit like a bad meal in a restaurant.....wont use again :-(

Ordered a radiator of this company, 1 week later still no delivery sent 3 emails and made 5 phone calls, not reply.... phone just rings then goes to the answer phone message. Be aware! Do not order. Now going to the bank to get my money back

Ordered a control arm, which was sent direct from the manufacturer to myself on SKS' behalf. When it arrived, although undoubtably the correct part to fit the car, the part was not the quality I would expect from this manufacturer. Kevin at SKS dealt with the issue swiftly and efficiently with excellent communication, and sourced a much higher quality part than the manufacturer had originally supplied. Superb service, would recommend to anyone.

Have ordered from this seller a replacement part. The article was gekenzeichnet as "in stock". Seller does not respond to e-mails and phone calls. When I posted the truth about his "shop" in Facebook .... he has threatened me by e-mail: "I will be letting Paypal deal with this dispute and I will be taking as long as I can to delay it". stay away from this store !!!

I have a VW T4 and was looking to replace the shocks as mine are 18 y/o

The T4 Forum rates highly the sachs shocks and also mention a discount code, i called SKS and left a message and they called me right back, they gave me a discount code and helped me through where to add it in, perfect. The parts arrive as advised by emails at the right time.

Altogether perfect! Thanks..

I am very careful about getting a good deal on line, not just the cheapest but ensuring good make as well and the shock absorbers that I ordered were what I wanted and arrived very quickly. Yet to fit them but so far service from this company is good.

Having bought timing chain kit for sons car, established it was not on the shelf and they were waiting for stock to be delivered. Having explained the urgency and need to get it couriered to allow the planned fitting of the engine, they went out of their way to obtain a kit, before the delivery and have it dispatched immediately after the Bank Holiday. This was a great bit of service which was greatly appreciated and allowed delivery to the garage in time, despite it having to travel to the north of Scotland, often thought to be another world to some couriers. Well Done and while the timing kit should last a few years! I will be back or recommend - thanks Kevin Butterfield - did yourselves proud.

Be aware if you see quality parts at lower price than the competition: if he says that quality part is no long available and offers a replacement, you are at risk. I think he displays quality parts at very low prices, then writes an email to say the parts are not available and offers cheap replacement for the price of a quality part. Perhaps that's how he runs his business. Ask if the part is available before placing the order.

My comment is "slanderous"? You are calling my comment false? Now I see you are being dishonest. Firstly, all, but all quality parts in my order you mentioned not being available any long and nowhere to be found. Interestingly, I checked later on online and these parts are available everywhere, from Ebay to several online stores! You offered to replace the quality parts with cheaper parts for the same price. You know, it's by your reaction to comments that we can see if you really did a mistake or simply are dishonest. Calling my review a lie shows exactly what you are doing in your business.
As for not contacting you with the issues, you are right. After getting poor quality items I won't spend money on returning them to get the same quality back.

Excellent company always happy to help and informs the customer about shipping and where it is coming from. You don't get this service from most car part suppliers. I would recommend to everyone.

Phoned with query mid afternoon, got answer, ordered part, arrived 10.a.m. following morning, doesn't get much better.
