Absolutely great experience from start to finish.

Communication was super easy and friendly, and we could communicate in German as well as English, which made everything even easier. I got a lot of helpful recommendations before and during the trip - useful apps, places to visit, national parks and generally great tips for exploring Sweden with the camper. Whenever I had a question, I got help really quickly.

The camper itself was really cool and had basically everything I needed. Very well equipped, practical and just a lot of fun to travel around Sweden with. There’s also a small corner at the pickup location with useful things you can take for your trip, which I thought was a really nice touch.

Overall just a genuinely great experience - super friendly, helpful and easygoing people, great communication and a great camper. I’ll definitely rent here again when I’m back in Sweden. Highly recommended! 🇸🇪🚐

Wonderful solo road trip experience! I rented a campervan for a one-week solo trip around Sweden and had such a great experience. From the beginning, the personal contact with Chris was really pleasant and made everything feel easy and well taken care of. The campervan looked great, was clean and comfortable, and had everything I needed for a week on the road. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into the little details. I especially loved the guestbook, such a fun and personal touch, with tips and experiences from previous travellers. Would definitely recommend!

We had such a wonderful experience with Småland! Campervan sweden made the reservation for us and since then Christian has been more than efficient in welcoming and accommodating every little detail of our rental. The camper-van itself was exquisite and completely equipped with everything we could ever need, you can really notice the personal touch this small company puts in everything and how they really care about their clients. I would recommend this to anyone who was looking for something comfortable to road trip around Sweden!

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in unserem Camper Van! Das Auto war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, und das Bett war sehr gemütlich.

Sowohl die Abholung als auch die Rückgabe haben reibungslos und unkompliziert funktioniert. Christian, der Vermieter, ist ausgesprochen nett und sorgt dafür, dass man sich von Anfang an gut aufgehoben fühlt.

Für uns war es die erste Reise mit einem Camper Van und wir hätten uns dafür kaum einen besseren Start vorstellen können. Die Reise hat uns auf jeden Fall Lust gemacht, in Zukunft wieder einmal mit dem Camper unterwegs zu sein.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder über Smaland Campers buchen! :)

I would highly recommend renting from Småland❤️ Everything went so smoothly with the renting process, the owner Chris was so kind and helpful, and overall Småland campers was a very trustworthy camper van company to rent from! The van itself had everything we needed, even though we rented the smallest option. I also highly recommend renting the hammocks as well, because we had the best nap times in the hammocks🙌 Also very convenient that when renting from Småland, you can not only explore Sweden, but Norway as well😍 Overall very good experience!

An Küchenausstattung alles was man braucht, sehr gemütliches Bett & Campingstühle & Campingtisch kann man dazu buchen.

Had a fantastic experience with Småland Campers. The set up in the van was perfect, it has everything you need for a comfortable trip. The communication and pick up were great. It’s a much more friendly, personal company than your usual camper hire. This was the only company we could find out of Stockholm that did smaller campers, which better suited the style of trip we wanted to get a bit more off the beaten track. 100% recommend!

Rented the Koja van for a week-long trip in Sweden in July this year (2026), for me and another person. We chose the Koja van, their smallest model. I enjoyed it and everything went well. I think the strongest point of Smaland Campers is this: you get exactly what you pay for and expect, with no bad surprises. Everything was smooth and exactly as shown on the website. The van (a Dacia Dokker) is one of those small vans used by working people, and that's a guarantee in itself: sturdy and reliable. I felt very safe driving it. Ventilation is provided by a roof vent, but it was a bit limited, so we found ourselves needing to lower the driver and passenger windows by a few centimeters during the night. For those wondering what Swedish summers are like, we always slept in T-shirts and shorts, only loosely covering ourselves with our open sleeping bags as blankets on rainy nights, which can be a little chilly. I had never been on a van or camper trip before, so I have no real standards for comparison, but I'd say the interior setup made by Smaland works well. We had everything we needed (we bought some of the extras offered on their website), and everything fit well enough. Of course, space is limited, so you need to be super organized. Christian was super friendly and helpful. The only suggestions I would make are: (1) add more pockets or pouches inside the van to help keep things organized; (2) use a safer mechanism to secure the internal table. When lying down, I always worried I might open it by mistake, although it never actually happened. Great experience, and highly recommended if you think this kind of setup fits your needs!

The car was exactly what I was looking for. Something easy to drive and to park for night. Confortable inside to sleep. Well equipped enough for cooking, keeping mosquitoes away. The perfect véhicule for a road trip in Scandinavia if you’re looking for something simple, practical and much more affordable than better equipped but less practical vehicles. Excellent communication with the owner.

Perfect camper, everything you need and super cozy for two. We took the Koja Aurora and really appreciated the heater, even in April. Chris was lovely to deal with and communication was great before and during the trip. Would 100% recommend. Go with the unlimited mileage option, it’s easily worth it if you’re heading any real distance from Stockholm.

For a recent winter-trip to Sweden, we made the choice of Smaland Campers over other larger booking sites - and we rewarded by choosing local.

The vehicle was perfect: maintained, cleaned and entirely prepared to be safe in winter conditions.

The support of the team was professional, kind and relatable.

The prices were more than fair - especially if you compare to the cost of hotels in the north.

Excellent experience, excellent company.

First the little Koka van was delightful. We managed well in cold and wet weather - had cosy evening and comfortable nights thanks to the little heater. Even managed to convert from "sitting room" to "bedroom" without getting out ( despite being 80 plus and not too flexible any longer!!).

When we received the camper it was clean and perfectly equiped. Cozy bundle was a great choice as it provided us everything we needed to enjoy our time with the van.

The size of the van (Koja) has made possible to go everywhere we wanted to go, without having to worry about parking space or too narrow roads. Also, it is big enough to fit 2 people without inconvenience.

We would book again if we had to, 100% recommended.

We rented the Hydda Camper for 9 days and it was just awesome! You’ll find everything you need in it and you see that the van was built out with passion. Christian (one of the owners) is a great guy who was always very helpful and everything ran smoothly. We can highly recommend doing a road trip with Småland Campers!
