We could not have asked for more from Smaland Campers and I am so glad that I found them! Christian worked with me every step of the way to ensure we had an amazing journey in Sweden.

The van was our cozy home on the road and served us well (we upgraded to the Hydda and recommend it!) as we traveled over 2200km throughout the country. The layout was both thoughtful and practical without sacrificing comfort. From cooking to setting up the bed, everything was easy.

I would already vouch for Smaland Campers based on the van, communication, fair pricing and flexible options, but my review would be incomplete without recommending the personal itinerary service. This was especially valuable for us as first time visitors, but the amount of detail and effort Christian and his partner put into the guide would make it a great option for anyone. We actually loved ours so much, we had it printed and laminated, both for use on the trip and as a keepsake. We were given 3 different routes with detailed waypoints and attractions, all with clickable links and fun graphics. It felt like they went above and beyond for us, but I don’t doubt that this is the standard of service Smaland Campers aims to provide all of their customers.

We would absolutely rent again on our next visit to Sweden!

Åkte till Högakusten med campervanen "Hydda". Den var rymlig, höll oss varm om nätterna och kändes inte så stor att köra på vägarna. Vi hade så fina dagar och levde lyxigt i vanen. Christian hjälpte oss komma igång och blev lika glad när vi åkte som när vi kom tillbaka. Trots att vi lyckades glömma campingborden någonstans ute i Sverige. Gör gärna om detta för att kunna utforska Sverige mer och njuta av naturen.

Hade en super härlig upplevelse med Småland campers.

Vi hade en stor nyrenoverad van som hade allt man kunde önska. Allt från värme till rinnande vatten fanns och va jättefräsht.

Även ägaren va jättetrevlig och hjälpte oss med allt vi behövde.

The camper was well equipped with everything we needed on our road trip around Lake Vattern. Christian was very helpful and accommodating to our unforeseen travel delays. We will absolutely be renting from Småland Campers again :)

The vehicle was clean and well equipped. My girlfriend and I had a great time touring the Swedish country side. Smaland campers were accommodating on pick up and drop off.

Spenderade en långhelg ensam på Öland med deras minsta campervan "Kojan". Körmässigt är bilen väldigt enkel att hantera och gick mycket tystare än vad jag trodde. Den är välgjord inuti och inklädd i filt vilket gjorde att den kändes väldigt ombonad. Smarta lösningar med förvaring och gott om plats för mig som sov själv. Där fanns ljusslinga vilket höjer mysfaktorn men även lampor i taket och en extra läslampa. Alla tillbehör för matlagning, diskning och städning smidigt och lättillgängligt. Och även om jag inte trodde jag skulle använda motorvärmaren så var de skönt när jag frös innan läggdags. En väldigt trevlig upplevelse för att komma nära naturen men ändå få lite mera lyx än med ett enkelt tält. Helt igenom har allt funkat superbra från första kontakt till återlämning av bilen. Hoppas kunna återkomma och boka en av de större bilarna för att få uppleva lite extra lyx. Tack Tor och Christian!

English: Great week with a small Camper "Koja". I was on vacation with my girlfriend. We had a great one. The Camper ist small, but with all you need, to live a few days in the wild. Christian is great. He gave us tips for first shopping and some other useful tips.

Hey. Besser spät als nie. Ich war mit meiner Freundin im Sommer für eine Woche mit dem Camper "Koja" unterwegs. Und ich muss sagen wir hatten mit dem kleinen Camper ohne fließend Wasser, ohne Dusche und ohne Toilette eine sehr schöne Zeit. In Schweden haben wir meistens in der freien Natur an einem See übernachtet. Dort waren häufig auch einfache Toiletten vorhanden. Anschließend ein Sprung in den See und man vermisst eine fehlende Dusche überhaupt nicht. Bei dem Camper war zum Kochen alles dabei, was man benötigt. Auf der Website sieht man den Inhalt des Campers. Für mich (ich bin 1,93m) war es ein Tick zu klein, um wirklich bequem zu schlafen. Der Tipp von Christian, den Sitz umzuklappen und die Füße in Richtung Frontscheibe zu legen, war Gold wert. So konnte auch ich bequem schlafen. Christian, der Vermieter des Campers, ist ein wunderbarer Mensch. Er hat uns noch Tipps zum ersten Einkaufen, Tanken, Midsommar und auch 1-2 Geheimtipps genannt. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche mit einem wirklich tollem, kleinen Fahrzeug. Gerne wieder.

Avec mon ami nous avons réservé un véhicule la veille pour le lendemain et cela n'a pas été un problème pour Christian qui a été d'une gentillesse, avant, pendant et après le séjour. Nous avons réservé le véhicule pour 2 semaines et tout était parfait, l'équipement, les explications. Nous le referons en été pour une nouvelle expérience ! Nous avons réservé grâce aux prix bas et surtout aux bons commentaires trouvés sur internet qui se sont confirmés par la suite.

Rented a small, practical and clean campervan and had a nice weekend on Öland. It was easy to book, pick up and drop off. Is recommended.

We were already the 2nd time with Småland campers on the road to discover the most beautiful sleeping, swimming and picnic spots of Småland and Öland. The cars from Småland campers are perfectly equipped with everything you need for camping. For this reason we are already planning our next trip and can’t wait to be on the road again!

Really versatile and fully equipped minivan capable of reaching every corner of Sweden (and presumably also of Norway and Finnland) so that one can really enjoy the freedom of exploring the country at one's own pace without the need of booking in advance hotels or hostels. Also good on unpaved and gravel roads - going through Lappland you will find a lot of them. The bed is comfortable and there is a lot of place for storing your language, at least for a three-weeks trip. The warming and the cooling inside the van also work fine. On top of that, Christian is a great guy providing a lot of tips and even some goodies for free.

I had a perfect roadtrip on Öland with a great campervan. The campers have everything on board you need for a carefree journey. The bedroom is super cozy and the mattress is comfortable. Due to its handy size, the campervan is perfect for outdoor adventures with overnight stays in nature. I would go back to Småland Campers again anytime.

Renting the småland camper was an amazing experience. The van itself is rather small, so it’s easy to drive and park and no problem to drive through cities as well as small forest tracks. Even though it’s rather small, there is a lot of space inside of the van. I was traveling with a friend of mine and each of us had 1 big bag, 1 small bag and 1 backpack and it was no problem to store all this stuff. Also for sleeping we had enough space, it’s no problem to share the van with a friend, doesn’t have to be your partner. We used the van during October, so we also had some cold nights, one even under 0 degrees Celsius. But this was also no problem, since the van has an independent vehicle heater making it really warm and cozy inside. I can warmly recommend using the småland camper to travel through Sweden, since you can reach every single spot of Sweden you want to visit and you can sleep (almost) everywhere you want to. For us it was a really awesome trip and we will for sure do it again!

Very friendly and super helpful with everything we needed! We rented the camper for 7 days and had everything we needed from sleeping bags, camping chairs, table to enough cutlery for a whole family! Cozy double bed in the back which could be turned into a couch for the day!
