We did the 7 day Split to Dubrovnik tour mid June 2026 and could not fault it. The boat was in excellent condition, the cabins comfortable, the crew amazing & friendly, the food plentiful & delicious and our fellow travellers all happy & friendly. All the stops and tours were fantastic. The swim stops in the crystal clear waters exactly as you see them on the website. It really was a trip on a lifetime and fingers crossed we get to do it again in the future.

Fantastic cruise around Montenegro on the Kaptak Sevket with a wonderful crew. The experience was superb , the crew were brilliant and our chef well what can I say - the food was excellent! I will most certainly be booking another gulet cruise in the future.

Small Cruise Ships worked with an excellent on-the-ground tour company in Brazzaville Congo. SCS was extremely helpful prior to the trip and immediately helpful and responsive to all pre-trip questions.

We did an absolutely unreal 14-day luxury cruise to Antarctica aboard SH Vega with my wife and our 7-year-old son, Pars, and honestly, we had the best days of our lives. It could not have been a better experience.

Antarctica is definitely a destination that requires advance planning, but in our case, we booked extremely last minute; only three days before our flight. Beth helped us with every single detail, including all the arrangements, shopping advice, clothing lists, medicine suggestions and everything else we needed. We honestly could not have done it without Beth. Her help made a huge difference, and she really was a superstar.

That said, I would highly recommend booking well in advance if possible, because for Antarctica you really do need the right equipment, smart clothing and enough time to prepare properly.

We flew from Turkey to Argentina, and the Hilton hotel in Buenos Aires was included in our trip. When we arrived at the hotel, The Small Cruise Ship Collection had a desk by reception and gave us all the information we needed. Everything was very clear and super well organized. We had an early charter flight to Ushuaia the next morning, and they collected our suitcases from our room at 10:00 pm, so we did not have to go to the airport extra early with all our luggage. The next morning, together with the other cruise ship guests, we flew to Ushuaia on a private charter flight and then went straight on board.

Our ship, SH Vega, was around 115 meters long, luxurious, and only a few years old, so everything felt brand new. The cabins were very comfortable and well designed. The ship had a swimming pool, which we used every day, a jacuzzi, a piano bar, two restaurants, a library, a laboratory and even a laundry room for guests. All meals and drinks, including various premium options, were included, and room service was available 24/7. The ship carried around 100 guests, which made the whole experience feel very personal.

The crew was outstanding. They somehow knew everyone’s names throughout the trip, as well as our food and drink preferences. I still do not know how they managed that, but it made us feel incredibly well looked after. The food was excellent, with both à la carte and buffet restaurants, and on some days there were BBQs by the pool. The cocktails were also very good.

The Drake Passage was an exciting part of the adventure. The views were amazing, and SH Vega had very good stabilizers, so even when the waves reached about 6 meters, we did not feel much movement. We only took motion sickness tablets on the first day, and after that we realized we did not really need them. In the middle of the crossing, it became rough for about 6 to 10 hours, but even that turned into a fun and memorable experience for our family.

On our third day, we woke up with an iceberg right in front of our balcony. It was epic. Antarctica is not a place you can easily explain; it really feels like another planet. Every day we went out twice, either landing ashore or cruising by zodiac, and every single excursion was unreal. We saw hundreds of whales in a single day, and penguins and seals were everywhere. To be honest, I never expected to see that many whales.

Our son Pars had the time of his life on board and during every excursion. Every day he was amazed by the wildlife, the icebergs and the whole environment. Antarctica was his fifth continent, and he is already very used to travelling, long walks and being around water, so he handled everything very well, even in this remote part of the world. The crew helped us on every excursion and always made sure he was safe and secure. It was cold, of course, but with the right clothing he was completely fine.

On our way back from Antarctica across the Drake Passage, we felt genuinely sad. We simply did not want to go back to the real world. Antarctica gives you a feeling that is almost impossible to describe.

After we returned home to Turkey, our son Pars appeared all over the Turkish news because he became the youngest Turkish person ever to set foot in Antarctica, having turned seven just before the trip. He has since been featured in many news stories and even appeared live on television. To keep the memory alive, we are now working on a children’s storybook based on his Antarctic adventure to the end of the world.

We feel incredibly lucky that we booked with The Small Cruise Ship Collection. We had almost no time to research, and they managed to place us on the best cruise, with the best crew, and made everything happen for us on very short notice.

It was truly the trip of a lifetime. Fingers crossed for another adventure one day; we very much look forward to it. Many thanks to the whole team from our family. You guys are the best!

Absolutely fantastic trip on gulet The Victoria sailing round the north west coast of Sardinia. You take your chances sharing a small boat with ten other strangers but we always luck out and end up with great company that enhances the trip.
A little disappointed not make the original itinerary to Corsica due to weather, but our friendly and knowledgeable captain Alessio was being incredibly responsible re safety and took us to beautiful locations as an alternative.
Food was amazing,by chef Antonnieta and presented a huge variety of local Sardinian dishes.
Other two crew members Steffano and Erica also looked after us all like Royalty.
This is the second trip we’ve booked from The Small Cruise Ship Collection, and can’t recommend it highly enough. Really professional team and great communications.

Great friendly service, good food and visits to small Greek Islands we had never heard of.

Everything was brilliant on our gullet cruise in Montenegro! The boat was really beautiful, the crew were very attentive, the food was delicious, the views were amazing, the weather was lovely, the swimming was wonderful (especially off the boat), and the places we visited on route were interesting and pretty. I have decided it's the only really enjoyable way to travel.

The lovely people at the Small Cruise Ship Collection are incredibly helpful, friendly & always coming up with good suggestions. I’ve booked 3 cruises through them & have 2 more in the pipeline. I’d definitely give them 11 out of 10!

This was a very well organised cruise, with all of the excursions included.
Nathan, the cruise director went out of his way to make sure that everything went smoothly.
The rest of the team also made sure that we were fully informed and took great care of us.

MALDIVES SNORKELING CRUISE – VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. The cruise itinerary was reduced by half of the one described in the brochure while the weather has been nice and sunny during the full cruise. Small Cruise Ship reminded that it is clearly mentioned in their brochure that the itinerary is subject to change.

We did not go to Ari Atoll which was the highlight of this snorkeling tour for the whale sharks and manta rays which are commonly found in this atoll. At the same time, all excursion centers in Male island and other inhabited islands kept on sending tourists to Ari Atoll to this atoll for daily snorkeling cruise tours for about 100 USD.

Instead, We have spent 5 days (out of the 6 days cruise) in the same place (Vaavu atoll – 50 km south of Male) repeating a similar snorkeling program on similar reefs every day. The snorkeling highlights of this reduced cruise were the Sting rays point and Nurse sharks point where the fishes are attracted by baits to entertain a crowd of tourists in the middle of numerous boats. This snorkeling program could have been done in a one day tour with any excursion center from Male island for another 100 USD.

The Small Cruise Ship Collection arranged an Antarctic Cruise for me. It was a spectacularly good trip. They arranged the cruise, the flights, the hotels, even the transfers to and from the airport. Everything was absolutely to my brief and they came in under the budget I had given the, The service was excellent. They are a pleasure to contact and I would thoroughly recommend them.

It was really good. We were pampered -- with superb food and other services ... We swam in crystal-clear waters ... We walked throughout beautiful towns ... We learned a great deal.

We sailed from the beautiful port of Split, island hopping down to Dubrovnic through stunning scenery and in total luxury - what is not to enjoy and we absolutely loved it!

I have just returned from the most fabulous trip to the remoter areas of Indonesia on Heritage Adventurer. WOW, what a very special trip - snorkelling with whale sharks, walking with Komodo Dragons, Birds of Paradise and mingling with Tribes. The kayaking was fabulous too, as was Heritage Adventurer, The Ship, which was run with great efficiency, precision and concern for customer enjoyment.

Caroline and Powell, whom I was dealing with at The Small Cruise Ship Collection, couldn't have been more helpful and responsive offering the best customer service, a rare treat these days.

The size of the ship was perfect for our group. We had 35 people and we had a ship with 18 cabins cruising through South Croatia. The staff was absolutely amazing. From our cruise director, Katarina to our bartenders, Ela and Marino. The chefs that made such delicious meals and the crew that took us to the most amazing locations. Everyone was so informative.We had so much fun.

What a fantastic holiday! From the moment we were greeted at the ship we were made to feel so welcome. The other guests were great and we made some friends for life. The crew are great - everyone is so helpful. Tony, the guest manager, is helpful (and very funny although not sure he realises it :) ) The ship is great - cabins not a bad size, lots of storage. Nice little touches such as providing sun cream, sickness tablets and snorkels. We had a couple of windy days and one re-route due to the weather but the islands are gorgeous. Lots of swim stops included. Food is lovely on the ship and Greek dancers were onboard one evening. We will definitely do another - loved every minute!
