7 day Croatian cruise Dubrovnik to Split.
It exceeded expectations, everyone so friendly and helpful, from the other fellow passengers from all over the world to the staff. The right mix of sailing, swim stops and optional guided tours. We moored each afternoon in a harbour where we were free to do our own thing,you could take a guided tour which was included, lasting approximately 45minutes. Our guide would point out what was available on the islands.
The staff were excellent the food was good and plentiful.
Our lower deck room was spacious.
We were always kept informed of what was going on.
Small cruise ship sent all the information you needed and were very informative prior to booking.
We had a day in Dubrovnik the day be fore our cruise so we were able to see Dubrovnik leisurely which we would recommend, as the cruise guide was rushed we went up the cable car then down guide around the Main Street in the old town and 30mins on your own. For those just arrived in Dubrovnik to do the cruise wouldn’t get to feel and experience the beautiful city. No time to walk the wall. We had more time to experience Split at the end of our cruise.

We just adored our trip. Croatia is so beautiful, the ship was everything we could have dreamed off. All the information we were given in advance of our departure was heloful

The cruise greatly exceeded my expectations! The scenery and food, and personnel were all excellent. We stopped at a lot of ports… some for very brief periods and some for between 2 to 4 hours. There were excellent lectures. I only went on one excursion, to the Viking Longhouse, which was excellent. Otherwise, we just disembarked and walked around the towns and visited places that we were interested in. The staff was so excellent. Always available, cheerful, and helpful. Truly enthusiastic and highly competent. The voyage going north stopped longer at the ports. Highly worthwhile. Read about the history of the Hurtigurten Line.

What a great way to see this beautiful coast and its islands. I highly recommend a small ship cruise as you get to see so much but don't need to keep packing up and moving on. I describe this cruise as going on a daily boat trip rather than cruising as I think the longest we were at sea was 4 hours. This suited us perfectly and was very enjoyable. The small crew are fantastic and go out of their way to help. The food was mostly very good, especially as it's cooked in a tiny kitchen on board. My dietary requirements were met and even excelled after some mutual understanding! The cabins are spacious and comfortable and exceeded my expectation. You get to meet people from all over the world. I would not hesitate to book again.

Disappointing itinerary, lovely boat, great food. I don't think the tour notes made it clear enough that we would be at anchor every night. I think the tour description should be more upfront about extra costs such as the tip (10% of the holiday cost) and optional visits (which we did not get anyway). The itinerary changed significaantly due to very windy weather, which I understand. However, I expected the captain to choose equally interesting places to stop. It was almost entirely stops in sheltered bays for swimming with hardly any access to land. We had 1 stop at a small island with ruins, a short stop in Marmaris and Fethiye. Disappointed to not moor overnight in any harbour which meant that there was no option of a walk before or after dinner. On previous trips the captain has been informative about the area but this was not the case here. On a [positive note, the crew were very friendly and attentive. The boat was kept spotless and the meals were exceptionally good. The holiday was good value with soft drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner and wine at dinner included. The other guests were good company and we had a pleasant week but it did not live up to expectations.

We recently enjoyed a 7 day cruise on MY Avangard. We had not done something like this before so had limited expectations however wanted a memorable 25th anniversary experience.

It surpassed our expectations expectations.

From the beginning the Small Cruise Ship company were fantastic. They gave us everything we needed upfront including an overview of Croatia and some words and phrases to learn in local dialect.
The boat trip was magnificent.our room on board was larger than expected despite being on lower deck. The food was as magnificent. The service was great and the other guests were delightful.

All in all we got more than we expected.

The boat was beautiful and very clean, with excellent service from the Captain and his crew. Cabin had adequate bathroom facilities with lovely hot water, wardrobe and bedside cabinets. Meal times could have been more inventive as the same things came out daily with fish served 4x. Lunchtimes could have been pide, gozlem, lamacun or wraps for example if they wanted to keep to Turkish food. The itinerary could have been more creative, example, we moored too many times in bays with no land access so once you had swum in the sea there was nowhere to go and we were all getting a bit deprived of walking as an exercise. Another positive was the company of fellow passengers who kept each other entertained throughout the week, they were fabulous.

Relatively small number of passengers, frequent stops, friendly staff, great food, flexibility, good weather and great sites along the shore. Everything worked as expected and it was an over all a very pleasant experience.

We had a great Cruise Director who facilitated an enjoyable journey. The ship was just the right size in terms of the size of the vessel and number of passengers and the destinations were picturesque and historically interesting.

The intinerary is wonderful and the locations are breathtaking .
The captain and crew where very experienced and friendly .
The boat is modestly finished compared to other boats and operators the bathrooms are tired and need a refurbishment

Andrew was very efficient and knowledgeable. Booking was a breeze , communications were excellent and they corresponded with us nearer to the trip to
organise transfers which were on time and of excellent quality . The company they used in Croatia for our cruise was superb and we were so impressed we are just about to book a return cruise with them of Northern Croatia. The cruise was Split to Dubrovnik on the 32 passenger Ave Maria and is an experience we will never forget .. absolute perfect mix of personal service , culture and informal atmosphere with superb food service and crew !

The staff were very good, very helpful. The cabin was comfortable and I loved the boat. The food was good. We saw all the islands but in a different order because of the weather which was windy at times.

The only disappointment was that we thought we were going to have swim stops off the boat but that wasn't the case. The crew provided a tender to the beach and on one occasion we had to pay for a taxi to a beach. But apart from that it was very good and we met some great people.

Lovely trip, great staff, very comfortable cabins, good swimming opportunities, and a great way of meeting interesting and diverse people from all parts of the world.
Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommendable.

We have just returned from a fabulous seven day cruise around the islands of northern Croatia. Departing and returning to Opatija. The cruise was magical as we cruised, visited and swam in isolated and sheltered coves around the islands.

With 24 travellers joining us from many corners of the world, the opportunity to make new friends during our cruise was made very easy.

Our tour guide, Josephine, was outstanding as were the crew and their captain. She had a comprehensive knowledge of the villages and islands we visited.

Having such an intimate knowledge of the coastline and the islands allowed the captain to show us some beautiful areas that you would not be able to reach without a boat such as our cruiser, Olmissum allowed.

The food was excellent and the opportunity to visit colorectal the villages we stopped at overnight adding so much to our experience.

We can highly recommend The small cruise company and the offerings they provided for our Croatian escape.

The small boat (36 passengers) cruise in Prince William Sound in Alaska was amazing. The expedition leader had experience to be flexible with the itinerary so we saw had some wonderful experiences, despite quite some rain. The crew were friendly and professional, and we all had a great time.

Our 7 day Croatian cruise was incredible, even better than we were expecting! Beth gave fantastic customer service in helping us organise the cruise, and the crew on board were really amazing..Sandra our guide, Jakov our barman and server, and Mirko our chef, who went out of his way to make a cake on my wife’s birthday! The clear blue water blew us away, especially the great swim stops that our Captain took us to. Will definitely be back for more and can only highly recommend this cruise! We are now looking into doing a similar trip to Greece next year. Thanks for such a memorable, world class experience, from start to finish!

Enjoyed a well planned week long cruise with delectable lunch menus and comfortable accomodation along the Dalmatian coast. Unfortunately a gastroenteritis virus spread amongst many guests within the first two days which was rumoured to have been present amongst crew or on the boat prior to boarding. The disinterest by the company to employ proper infection control measures was concerning and there was an absence of obvious hand sanitiser. Access to filtered water was limited and no complimentary tea and coffee was disappointing considering bar prices paid throughout the days.

Would recommend as an option for small ship cruising.

Long story short, we found ourselves unexpectedly with an "unplanned" week after a trip to Greece. After a short google search, we kept finding the Small Cruise Ship Collection and we went further. Beth Parry contracted us, and she was amazingly polite and helpful as we planned this unexpected part of our trip. My wife and agreed that the cruise may have been the best vacation our family of four have every had. The dollar is strong against the Turkish Lyra, but the yacht was absolutely immaculate. Every day, the Captain asked us what we wanted to do, and we planned the itinerary at breakfast. We saw many ancient sites accessible only by boat, we visited charming sea-side towns, but our children most enjoyed the swimming, tubing, paddle-boarding, pretty much everything. The food was delicious and it seemed like the stewards took care of our every need. It was a remarkable journey to Turkey.
