The process was exceptionally smooth
The process was exceptionally smooth, from file submission to initial approval, thanks to prompt and clear communication. Even with an appraiser issue, we navigated it efficiently. It was a very pleasant experience, acknowledging that appraiser choice isn't within SmartFi's control.

I was very nervous at first about getting a reverse mortgage, but Rebecca explained everything and all the counseling made me feel comfortable and knowing that I had made a good decision and I know that I have them to support me throughout this whole process.

I really appreciate the follow up from the initial contact through every step of the process by our associate. I was able to quickly validate his authenticity from my existing mortgage lender, then the home inspection was very fair and accurate and much less stressful than I thought it would be. In the end our credit went up by about 100 points, freeing up a couple other debts and keeping the equity in our property at a perfect time to do so.
