Oh dear I've been scammed by facebook advert again and SMITH London own advertising - I thought I had done the due diligence, I really thought I had visited trust pilot but obviously either looked up wrong shop or went to their own review page. SCAM 0 it's direct from CHINA. takes ages and material and sizes are so completely made up. Absolute garbage.
Can't even send back for a refund as it's a Chinese return address needing to be tracked and it cost £12 with no guarantee they will accept it - lesson hopefully learned but facebook adds really clever

I caught the ad on FB and was really interested in purchasing the item shown by Smith and Co London. This is the first time I have purchased anything like this on line and it will be my last. When I received the Jacket I had ordered I knew straight away it wasn't anything like what it should be. When I picked up the package it was too light to be what I thought I had ordered. When I opened it , I was so disappointed words failed me. I even gave a tip on my invoice because I thought it was cheap for a quality item I ordered. Very disappointed and annoyed.

Ordered a jacket based on an Instagram ad. The item sent did not match the description on the website. The company is not British nor based in London despite the implication, but rather appears to be a front for a Chinese manufacturer.

When the item arrived I requested a return address (as none was provided) and was given the runaround for 2 weeks during which time they offered a 20% refund as they didn't want the jacket back.

In the end I raised a dispute through my credit card company and received a refund. I continue to receive correspondence from Smith and Co in regards to the issue, despite the matter having already been resolved, in which they state that I've never spoken to them.

Totally agree with all reviews. Thought I was buying from a uk based company. Item took ages to come then was completely different material and design from the elegant dress displayed in the advert, I ordered a dress size bigger than my street size but it wouldn't even go over my arm !

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered. The ad makes the company look as if it's a London shop. Thinking I was getting a good sale, I ordered a dress. When it arrived the fabric was so gross I couldn't even touch it long enough to try it on. I contacted customer service and discovered the dress needed to be shipped back to CHINA! UGH. Honestly, I thought I was supporting a British shop, instead I was click baited into buying an awful product from China. Lesson Learned. It's best to go and shop local, at least I can get a refund on the spot if we decide to return the item. RUN AWAY FROM SMITH AND CO LONDON!!!!

No refund, no replacement.... dress is awful quality. Really irritated the skin. I won't be able to give to charity shop. Fit for the bin. Scam. Please don't buy anything from any variation of their company name

Lesson No.1 - Read reviews before purchase!! From the Instagram advert, I thought this company was UK based but alarm bells started the minute I received the shipping notice from China. Ok, I thought that some companies might fulfil orders from source when an item is out of stock but it was at this point I checked the reviews and that was the ‘lightbulb moment’. Poor quality item arrived today (6/05/25) nothing like their stock image (presumably taken from another site) and certainly nothing Andrew Garfield would wear, as per their site 😂 I see on more recent ads they’ve dropped ‘London’ for ‘Boutique’ but rest assured it’s the same company. They also seem to operate under By Costello and probably many other cover sites PLEASE BE AWARE AND DON’T BE FOOLED LIKE ME

Company is branded as in London it’s not it’s China and you are unable to return even if they send you the wrong items unless you pay the shipping costs . Scammers do not use

Do not order from this company. The clothes are nothing like advertised. They come from China and the quality is horrendous. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Ordered coat. Material was abysmal and far too small for 14. Requested returns form and refund. Several emails from them dragging their feet, questioning return (I had been clear). Told to return to China or keep item and receive 20% back. DO NOT BUY!!

Shockingly bad. The jacket that i bought was shoddy. I sent a note through their system asking for a refund and offering to send the jacket back. No response. I am now chasing them. Never again.

I bought from their website. Quality of goods was awful, absolutely incorrect description. And was told if I want to return I need to pay postage to China. This is an awful supplier. Avoid.

I’d give a zero if I could. The clothes are absolutely atrocious, don’t know who they’re supposed to fit. I returned them to the address on the packaging after they ignored my emails for a return postal address. Only after I told them I’d done this and wanted my refund they said I had to send the goods to China - which is now impossible… AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they are thieves.

The dress doesn't match the website description, and they refuse to cover return shipping to their warehouse in China despite selling inaccurately described goods.
