We love Smith Thompson for our home security! Their customer service is amazing. We just moved into a new home and you know how many phone calls you have to make closing accounts at the old house, opening at the new house...well Smith Thompson was by far my easiest phone call out of everything. They were so helpful, speedy, and were able to quickly get us set up at our new house. I've just had nothing but good experiences with them, I very highly recommend their service!

Friendly sales and technicians made the whole process very easy. Great price and there is no contract required, although you have to pay quarterly. Their technical support over the phone is also great. I'd recommend their service to anybody need a home security system.

Also, our install technician, Chris D., was very professional, quick, efficient, and explained how system worked and politely answered all questions. The irony of those other guys is they promise to protect your home from thieves but when you get your bill you feel like you've already been robbed. SO, if want peace in mind for your home with a quality alarm system and NOT feel like your wallet was robbed at the same time, choose Smith Thompson!!

When I moved out of my old house I had to pay a whopping penalty to ADT as it was part way through the contract. My new house had a deactivated ADT system but I was very reluctant to use them again. I read some good online reviews about Smith Thompson and their services, costs and "no contract" were exactly what I was looking for. I also noticed a lot of their signs in my new development which reassured me. They effectively and efficiently scheduled the appointment for my convenience, called to say they were on their way, completed the installation quickly and without disturbance to me (working from home) and courteously explained how to use it and the App. I get everything I had with ADT but at less cost, no contract and most importantly with friendly people I can trust to look after me.

We picked Smith Thompson for home security on our new home on Feb 2018. Their rates are very good. ADT had higher prices, but not by much. ADT offered free equipment, but we already had equipment. Smith does not rely on WiFi, or landlines, for alerting the offsite monitoring. They install a cell-phone type device that calls them when an alarm is activated. The technician came on time and got the monitoring system installed within 40 minutes. You can pay $7 extra per month to use their app, HC Flex. The app is too basic and doesn't have touch ID. But it does let you activate and inactivate the alarm remotely.

We set off the alarm by accident a few times. We get a call in about 2-4 minutes asking for our name and the password we selected to verify our identity. We are asked is it's a false alarm. If it is the police is called off.

Smith Thompson has been great so far! Price is so much more affordable than almost all other security companies, and the customer service is so much better, too. I receive quick and friendly responses, and it's also nice to know that they're family-owned and located not too far away (in Plano). Another thing I like is that there are no hidden costs with the system and no last-minute additions that are pushed on you; what you see online is what you get. I'd highly recommend Smith Thompson to anyone looking for a good home security system.

I have been with landline monitors for 10 years and I finally give up and went with Smith Thompson wireless and I very happy since last year. The technician call and show up and just take care the set up in 30 minutes and the system works beautifully.
