Honestly, I usually do my due diligence on site reviews before purchases, but this time I jumped at a sale I was waiting for. Looking at this site left me expecting the worst, but honestly? I had a perfect experience.
When I had an issue I reached out to support and received a response in a few hours and was able to resolve it. Shipping was prompt and tracked/insured by Route, and arrived 3 days after purchase.
Literally the best prices by far even without a sale going on. Almost too good to be true, but I guess I lucked out. Very happy with my purchase will try my luck again!
Keep away from Smoke Cartel
I purchased a small bong from Smoke Cartel. It was so badly designed that the insert holding the cannabis was very loose and it could fall out with little movement.
I had to send a video to Smoke Cartel to show them how badly the insert fitted, its poor fitting was very clear.
It was referred to another member of staff who decided it was due to it's small size!
I then wrote to them to say the design was hoaky and I had to find a rubber band to fit on it to make it work and that is unsatisfactory for a new product.
They then sent me a duplicate of their previous response, showing an absolutely nonchalant approach to after care service. "It's a small bong and that's the way it is" was their response.
This is not the type of after care service a customer wants in the face of other competitors who would be likely to offer a much better approach.

USPS lost the package and they will nothing about it. There is video camera evidence of it never being delivered to my home. Lost/stolen
I should have listened to the reviews
I should have listened to the reviews. Upon purchasing on Smoke Cartel I paid the couple dollars extra to have insurance with Route. & I thought I was at least protected. In this review is no way a negative result to Route.
I purchased a rig off of the website. Upon receiving it, it arrived damaged.
I reached out to route & told them that my item was damaged & submitted photos.
Within 24 hours they approved my claim & reordered me a new rig from the same link.
Upon receiving the 2nd rig, Not only was it the wrong color of rig that I initially ordered (Which didn't really matter, it was the wrong rig altogether.
Now at first glance it does look similar to the rig I ordered but the original rig I ordered was a double cycler that has 2 cycler tubes. The replacement 1 I got was only a single cycler with 1 single cycler tube.
When initially ordering on the site you can see different angles of the rig. The 1st image you can't see the back side where the 2nd cycler is but if you scroll over you can see a photo that the rig is supposed to be a double cycler.
Also those of you who are familiar with rigs a double cycler makes all the difference over a single cycler for smoothness & thats the original reason why I ordered that 1 because it was a double cycler. Not only that, the 2nd 1 they sent me was a deformed rejected 1 that had defects in it again missing that extra cycler tube.
Reach back out to Route about the issue & they wanted to confirm with me if the link they ordered from was the correct link that I ordered from. I said yes it was.
I did however provide them pictures of the new item that was wrong.
They said because this is a fulfillment issue meaning that route ordered from the website again & Smoke Cartel fulfilled & sent me the wrong item that I needed to reach out to Smoke Cartel support because route only covers for damaged, lost, or stolen items.
Reached out to Smoke Cartel and also providing them all the pictures showing proof that it's not the correct item then they gave me the runaround & told me that I needed to reach back out to Route since I had insurance with them.
Reached back out to Route telling him the situation & they continue to say that this was a fulfillment issue & this is on them so Smoke Cartel needs to replace it.
Again I'm totally citing with route on how they handle the situation because they already told me that they only cover lost, damaged, or stolen items. Then reordering through the correct link they did everything right on their end the issue was on smoke cartels & for sending me the wrong item. Route had no control over that.
Kept reaching out to Smoke Cartel & they just said oh we have set this over to the correct apartment we're waiting for them to investigate this. Never heard anything so I reached back out to support again & same thing oh we're going to put this as our highest priority and someone should reach out to you within a couple of hours. A couple of hours went by and then went through the weekend which I understand on weekends they're not open but on Friday they should have gotten back to me within a few hours & they didn't.
Reached back out to them again & they said again someone will reach out to you here shortly & will put this at our highest priority.
Meanwhile this has been a couple of weeks now since I originally ordered. Received an email back for them saying once again I need to go through route for this issue.
Reach back out to support again & said again route says this is a fulfillment issue this is not their issue because they only cover loss, damage, or stolen items and at this point to Route has already closed my claim.
Then I reach back out to support on the website to tell him the issue & provided pictures again showing the items.
After Smoke Cartel kept trying to push me off onto Route which again wasn't their problem they finally just said oh our records show that we sent out the right item.
Reached back out to support & sent more photos on the website and they kind of gave me the runaround too and said yeah our records show that the correct item was sent out in my hands are tied & so we're not going to be able to help you with your order any further basically just leaving me hanging.
This is really annoyed me because this whole time they were trying to pass me on to route to make it routes problem so they didn't have to deal with the wrong order but when I kept telling them that route would not cover it then they just made something else up stating oh we see from our records we sent out the right item.
If they initially sent out the right item to me then why in the beginning didn't they just say oh it looks like we sent out the right item to you, instead of passing me off on route to make it their problem.
They just didn't want to help me with their mistake.
In the end I had to do a dispute with my bank to get issued back the money onto my credit card toget reimbursed.
Wasnt a pleasant experience.

What didn’t go wrong? From the get-go, this company has been ultra shady in the way they do business. Like many others here, I received an email saying a USPS shipping label had been created. Then two weeks went by, and nothing showed up.
I tried contacting customer service, but they would just open a ticket with the “warehouse team,” only for it to be closed a few hours later. I even replied to a closed ticket, which is supposed to reopen the issue, and they closed it again. I asked for a refund multiple times and received nothing.
I ultimately had to file a chargeback with my credit card company just to… not even kidding you…. Have them all of a sudden send the package. Within an hour or two of me contacting my cc company…. It’s just a mess.
First time ordering
First time ordering, got my order sort of, they sent me the wrong ash catcher and then tried to say they were out of the other one i originally ordered so they sent that one instead, didn’t offer a refund for the wrong item, I asked to return it will let you know more later. The item I originally ordered is also still listed as being in stock on their website

I went looking to write a horrible review and low and behold, they have 2.6 rating. Makes sense. They are the absolute WORST! Horrible customer care, no desire to resolve problems and pass the buck to someone else to resolve.

Non delivery of items
I ordered 3 of the same item from these guys. I am a previous customer.
I got one item and a note saying it was a partial shipment. I waited about a week and when I still hadn’t gotten the items I contacted them. After a few days I was contacted and told because I hadn’t reported this within two days there was nothing they could do. Buy 3 get one!
Buyer beware!
