AVOID this company! Absolute shambles and a CON... SNAP Car Hire forced the return of a lease hire vehicle out of the blue with no justification and tried to force a court order for a £700 payment despite breaking the terms of the agreed lease. This company are a joke and should be avoided at all costs. Pathetic communication. After further investigation, it appears SNAP car hire have a habit and reputation for forcing the return of their vehicles and are generally as a rule poor communicators and cause many problems. I personally know of two others that this has happened to, not including reviews recently read. Avoid this company at all costs.

This company is a bunch of dodgy liars. We supposed to keep our car for a year but they decided to terminate our contract out of nowhere just after 6 months. Looks like this happened to other people as well. They only gave us 2 weeks to find another car. They decided to extend it only because they though we are going to buy it from them but we didn't as their offer was totally unacceptable. They also decided to charge us for execisve milage which we couldn't expect to manage better as they told us to give the car back 6 months earlier wee wouldn't do any excessive milage if we new we have to give the car earlier.
Very bad communicating. They were like it's wet will call you back but they never did. One of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.

I took out an electric Nissan Leaf lease deal with them on a 12 month lease. 6 months into the lease, theh emailed me (as well as all other customers with this deal) citing that due to changes in the economic climate, they will have to pull out and cancel the lease deal! And they demanded the car back in 2 weeks! Leaving me with no car at all and only 2 weeks to make alternative arrangements.
No remorse and no sympathy from this company. They should be banned from operating ever again.
Save yourself the pain and use another company.
CONTRACT CANCELLED / DO NOT USE!
100% agree with the negative reviews regarding the Snap car hire agreement being cancelled. Email/ text message received on 23rd August 2023 stating "Due to rapidly changing economic circumstances..we are terminating your rental contact by 04/09/23.
If this was the other way around and the customer was returning the car early 'Due to economic circumstances' there would be an huge amount of monies liable to the customer. I take it I will be compensated for the aggravation this causes?
The cars 'agreement' is not worth the paper its written on. To be so abrupt knowing we rely on our cars is scandalous. It took excessive time to pick the vechile I 'hired' only to end 5 months into the 'agreement'.
Like any motorist that 'losses' a vechile I'm now having to look for a vechile elsewhere (another lease company perhaps?) or having to hire something else. Time of which I don't have. The loss of the 'agreed' vechile is going to cost an excessive amount to get me another vechile many of which have a 6 month to a year wait. Had I have known this from the infancy of the 'contract' I could have at least ordered another vechile with a reputable company, that actually delivers on their 'agreement'. The car brokers 'Fleet E' state they are no longer partners with Snap Hire and offered a replacement vechile, details of which I await and will use if viable and there are not additional costs to me as the customer.
Please do not use Snap Hire..perhaps they are 'going under' which is shame for the hardworking staff but it is a waste of your time, deposit, broker fees, all which have been gaining interest in their accounts and not your own. Refunds will be known on return of the vechile, and I want all of my costs returned. Shame as it seemed to be going so well, with initial good communication, car ordered to spec and on time.

Avoid at all costs ! Signed me onto a 12 month agreement out of nowhere they want the car back giving me no options and 14 days notice. A vile unprofessional mess of a company ! Pretty sure they won’t last long by the looks of it.
Contract Cancelled - vehicle to be returned early
Not sure what is going on or if there are issues with the company, but like previous reviewer has said our contracts have also been cancelled early via email and we have been given 14 days to return vehicles.

Initially fantastic experience, great pricing, service and vehicle delivery.
However I signed up for a 12 month lease and was informed by email today that they suddenly are terminating my agreement after 5 months due "to rapidly changing economic conditions" using a get out clause in the contract.
I've been offered a 2 or 3 year lease, buy the car outright, or have it collected. Maximum 14 days to decide, and all because they priced the rentals incorrectly in the first place and are now taking their ball away and don't want to play any more.
Avoid if you actually want a vehicle for as long as you sign the contract for.
