DO NOT TRUST their sizing advice

DO NOT TRUST their sizing advice. I made the mistake of trusting their sizing advice and that they had the sizes/styles listed as available. Neither are true. The size of the work trouser is as listed on the manufacturers label and not as they claim. The manufacturers label also sates the style of fit (eg.Regular Fit in the case of the 6214's and 6224's) I ordered but this is not helpfully stated on the listing. The 'up to 42 inch waist' I ordered was in fact a 44 inch waist on both the manufacturers label and as an actual measurement using a tape measure. They do not have the correct styles/sizes as listed so a refund has been requested.

Firstly, we completely disagree with your comment regarding sizing. You stated in your first email, you had always used a 258 in the loose fit 3 series. We do not know of a 258 ever being a standard size in any of the 3 series and as we can see there is no previous purchase from you shown on our website, maybe you had these made from another distributor as a special? You stated in your email that the next couple of pairs of 258s in the 6 series that you ordered were too tight and too long, but as these were never purchased from us, we have no idea what style these were.
The first correspondence we had from yourself was today regarding the 160 size of RuffWork that you ordered from us being too big in the waist and too short in the leg. Being a long leg, not an extra long leg, like you had had before in the 3 series, I am not surprised they are too short. Once we receive these back, we will of course check the waist size and be in touch.
With regards to the 6 series sizing chart on our website, we along with many others, have used this sizing for over 6 years now so feel sure that if we were sending out the wrong sizes in every style of 6 series trouser made, we would have had every single pair back and a lot more bad reviews stating this.
With regards to the point on your email that states Snickers use the word Regular as a cut and we don’t, making it impossible for you to know what the cut is, you will see the comment below taken from the 6214 and 6224 “size/fit tab on the pack page that you ordered from:
“The whole 6 series range of trousers have a more modern cut to the traditional loose fitting 3 series range. The standard cut fits in between the slim and the loose and is more of a jeans style fit. Therefore still offering a modern fit but with the comfort and freedom of movement required to work in.
Obviously the definition of a standard cut varies from person to person as any fit will differ on someone who has a larger frame to those with a slighter frame.”
However, I am still unsure how these titles can assist anyone as the cut would be very dependant on the individuals calf and thigh size. To be honest, we have been told by certain customers that the 6241 slim fit is too baggy for them!
Once you requested the change to size 258 as well as a different colour we checked availability and responded within 2 hours of the issues regarding stock. We also where possible offered an alternative colour or a full refund. Genuinely unsure what more we could have done?

Absolutely great customer service!

Absolutely great customer service!! Had a slight issue with my order which was completely my fault and the SnickersUK team sorted everything for me and, even emailing out of standard working hours to help with any enquiries I had. The quality of the clothing is unbeatable in my opinion

Have used this company for many years…

Have used this company for many years for my snickers work wear
I currently have a 5 months old bib and brace style trousers that the stitching has pull away on
This is clearly a faulty product
I was offered a repair via snickers head office which I declined as it’s faulty and would be a bodge up job
I then contacted snickers head office who told me snickers products don’t have any warranty or guarantee and would repair them as a good will gesture !!!
I was also told that wearing the product can cause stitching to fail and this is wear and tear
Complete BS. The product is faulty and wearing it for 5 months hasn’t caused it to come apart at the seams. Some weeks not worn at all
Be very wary. No guarantee with snickers products. I have it in writing from head office
Having to get my card issuer to try and get me a refund as they are not interested in the slightest about sorting the faulty product out

To follow up. I don’t want a faulty item with a bodged repair, I want them replacing and at 5 months old I think that is fair
A few lies in the response, remember I have all the email correspondence of what was said
I do appreciate it’s not all your fault and I didn’t know that snickers offer no warranty or guarantee on their products only a good will gesture if the product fails through no fault of the customer

We just want to clarify a few points regarding your comments.
Firstly, we are a distributor of Snickers Workwear, not the manufacturer and therefore, any decisions regarding a manufacturing fault must go through them.
You were initially asked to return the product to us which we would then send to the manufacturer for review which on a 5-month-old worn garment is the procedure we have to follow and show this on our website. If a manufacturing fault is established, then where possible a good as new repair would be done or if this isn’t the case, the garment would be replaced.
Due to its age, and the issue being a piece of Velcro that is stitched on to the shoulder having come away, we stated that it was highly likely that the manufacturer would repair these for you.
After that, you then contacted Snickers Head Office and the rest of the complaint you have was with their response.
So, to re-iterate, if you return the garment to us (the distributor) as previously requested, we would forward it on for review. We see from emails that Snickers Head Office said they would turn this repair around quicker than we had anticipated for you. The longer time we quoted was because of the Christmas shutdown, but as I am sure you will appreciate, there is very little either us or they can do without having the garment back.

Hello again,

Like yourself, we also have all the email correspondence that was between us on Thursday 5th December from 15.39 to 16.08. This is 4 emails from yourself with 3 replies from us, which with your agreement, we are more then happy to post on here in full.

The two issues that we have with your reply is that you state we have told a few lies in the response we posted. So if you could explain where we have lied, this would give us the opportunity to respond.

Please remember, that even though you are only posting the negative comments on our trustpilot page about our company, you have had direct correspondence with the manufacturer. So we are not including the emails between you and them, only where it is claimed where we (the distributor) have lied.

The second point is just again for clarity, you are claiming a manufacturing fault on a used garment, that you feel should be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Yet you state this is not entirely our fault so again I ask, what parts are our fault in this process as we can only replace or repair garments agreed by the manufacturer under a manufacturing fault.

Again, we need to state that as we hope you will appreciate, it would be foolish for us to agree to anything regarding a garment based on a photo and again state, if you return the garment we will then forward this to the manufacturer for their response.

I am sure you will understand the need for us to reply when we genuinely believe this to be an unfair rating on our service and speed of replies regarding your issue.

Good service and good response

I order a pair of Snickers trousers early evening on a Friday. As soon as I sent the order I realised Google auto fill put my old address as the delivery address. I emailed the website immediately requesting the change of address. Within 10 minutes I had a response telling me that it's been changed.

They do have a fantastic range of trousers, and as someone who is particular about work trousers I was happy with their choices, along with the additional additional on items on some trousers, if I wish.

The delivery took longer than I thought, however after looking at the delivery terms it was delivered dead on time in accordance to it's terms.

So if you want a good service, and don't live in this awful world of instant gratification, I would highly recommend using these for your Snickers Products.

Above & beyond customer service

The team at Snickers UK were so kind and helpful and went the extra mile when I had a recent issue regarding sending a parcel back to the wrong company when it wasn’t their issue to help resolve.

In contrast to the other company who we returned it to in error who spent 3 months being as unhelpful as they could be, Snickers UK kept in regular touch and helped get new stock out to us.

Be aware when ordering they take your order say they have stock then you don’t receive the order until you chase them, They will not make contact to say they don’t have stock but keep hold of your money until you chase them. Awful service.

Think this needs a little more clarification.

You placed the order on the 13th December 2023, and your receipt stated delivery in around 6/7 days. The first we heard that you had not received your order (which we had as order closed) was on the 9th January 2024, which was 27 days later.

We rang you that day stating that we had no idea that the parcel hadn’t been delivered until you contacted us that morning and that we would look into this. Your response was that you wanted a replacement in 24 hours or a refund. As the item had previously shown a delivery of 6/7 working days, we were unable to supply a replacement in 24 hours. We did however, refund you in full within 24 hours of you contacting us. So to clarify, we responded to your first contact on the 9th January with the issue resolved on the 10th.
