Customer service - what a joke

We brought a sofa and chair and while it was being delivered it was noted there was a rip near the back left leg. the delivery guy took numerous photo's on the company handheld and his personal mobile phone and uploaded all to his manager saying they would contact us with in 72hrs. Didn't happen so we called them. Apparently the photo's were of poor quality and no good so we were asked to take some and send them. We did. We have heard nothing back until an email arrived asking if we still wanted to go ahead with ticket number *******, if so call one of 2 numbers supplied in the email within 2 days or they would close it. We rang (22 of horrible music while waiting to be answered) when it was answered we were told you need to ring 03444818181. we did and gave up after 29mins of crap music. Went back to email and replied via email saying yes we did want to carry on with the ticket and could they please phone me as I had spent 59 minutes listening to crap music. Still waiting. My wife tried calling today and guess what? ..........35 minutes of crap music. Tomorrow we have decided to go to the store where we purchased it from and demanding that something is done. I look at it as they sold it they are responsible for it, I ordered an item that was not damaged in anyway and got the opposite. That to me sounds like "Breach of agreement/contract" and failing to supply what was paid for. I will update this review with the results. They will probably say give us a call and listen to more crap music.

Have been really happy with the help we…

Have been really happy with the help we received in store, Wayne was very informative and friendly. Helped us work out what we needed.

When ringing in to confirm the order, spoke with Mark who was also friendly and helpful.

Both took time and allowed us to think about what we needed. Would definitely recommend if looking for a new sofa

Over 4 months for a sofa!

So we ordered our sofa in August. It’s NOW December and we are still sitting on the floor. Sofology Norwich have done what they can to help but Sofology as a company - avoid. I have called them 7x and. Each time promised a call back within the magic 72 hours! Nothing heard back each time. UNTIL I spoke to Norwich where the deputy manager has been brilliant - I am still waiting to hear from the main customer services about my complaint -

Excellent customer service

We visited on multiple occasions as awaiting an exchange of contracts.
We wanted to be sure we had found the correct sofa (in multiple stores)
Each time we visited Sofology Norwich store the staff were welcoming and polite, we mainly dealt with Declan as he recognised us and acknowledged us, when he wasn’t in store Martin took great care of us and gave us so much information about a different sofa that we fell in love with it, even though we didn’t purchase at that time there was no ill feeling to the time he’d spent with us.
We finally exchanged and straight into sofology to buy our sofa, Declan dealt with our purchase… that man knows the paperwork by heart and therefore made our purchase far more speedier

Highly recommend

Exceptional service from Marcus

The saleman Marcus who served us in both our visits, (on our return visit we asked to see him again, as he was so lovely ), was warm , friendly, and extremly patient, and very knowledgeable. There was no pushing, he allowed us to browse and take our time before coming to our final decision, He answered all our questions. We were extremly pleased with the service we received, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend sofology or Marcus he is an incredible assett to your company. .

First visit to sofology

First visit to sofology. Was pleasant walking around the store and wasn't pestered by staff. When we found the furniture we dealt with Mel at your norwich branch. He was excellent. He went through our options, style, colour etc.

Great customer service...

We revisited the Norwich showroom after several months to order the sofa that we really liked, the salesman, Mark remembered us from our first visit, he patiently took us through the options and answered all of our questions with honesty and consideration for our needs, very polite, good humoured and knowledgable. He made the experience of a large purchase very easy. Excellent customer service, well done Sofology and Mark.

Helpful and Knowledgeable

We dealt with Mark who was very helpful helping us find the right configuration corner sofa in the model we wanted. Looking forward to the finished product in February!

Staff were very helpful

Staff were very helpful, Laura in particular. Appreciated how well she spoke to all of us. She also genuinely cares about what she does and that comes across.

Recent Purchase

When entering the store we were left to browse at our own leisure without being pestered by any members of staff. When walking round we were spoken to briefly to check we were okay and then when we wished to speak in further depth, the sales man was very helpful and knowledgable. Would happily shop back here in the future.

Thank you to Declan for his support today in making our purchase seamless.

Friendly and polite service

Friendly and polite service. Answered all questions and took time to explain the details. On our first visit Lauren was very helpful with our little girl as well.

Quality shows …

We went on your store first and then went to other on the complex and came back to yours as quality was far superior and your staff were much nicer , Mark finalised our purchase and was very helpful and answered all our questions
