Hi,

This review is clearly intended for a different business.

SoftSteps is a South African baby safety brand that sells baby head protectors. We do not sell sandals, footwear, or any related products.

The reviewer specifically complains about receiving "a cheap plastic sandal," which has no connection to our business or product range.

Additionally, the reviewer's profile indicates they are based in Denmark (DK), while SoftSteps currently only serves customers within South Africa. We have never shipped products to Denmark.

Because the review discusses a completely different product and does not relate to any product or service offered by SoftSteps, we respectfully request that it be removed as it has been posted against the wrong business.

We believe this review may have been left for the wrong website or business.

We have checked our records and we do not have an order #1183 in our system. We also have no orders placed on 17 April matching the details provided in this review.

In addition, SoftSteps does not issue Chinese tracking links, and all customer support is handled through our official email: support@softsteps.co.za.

SoftSteps.co.za is a South African online store, and we currently only cater to customers within South Africa. The reviewer profile also appears to be based in the UK, which further suggests this review may have been left for the wrong business.

Based on the order number, order date, tracking details, website/email reference, and location mismatch, this review does not appear to relate to our business.

If this review is from a genuine SoftSteps customer, please contact us directly with the correct order number, full name used at checkout, and the email address linked to the order so we can investigate immediately.

At this stage, we are unable to verify this review as relating to our store.

We’re sorry for the frustration you experienced. We want to be clear: SoftSteps is a legitimate business and we take customer concerns seriously.

As a small business, we work with Aramex as our courier partner and rely on their system for deliveries. In this case, there was an issue on the courier’s side which unfortunately caused delays and confusion with tracking.

As soon as your concern was raised, we escalated it immediately with Aramex and the issue was resolved within a day, with your parcel delivered shortly thereafter.

We do respond to customer enquiries and worked to resolve this as quickly as possible.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience while this was sorted.
