Because my electricity consumption is monitored properly and it turned out I was being overcharged. I have got refunds back from my electricity company. My electricity bill is as low as if it's none existence.

No hard sell, all background paperwork/application forms done for us & instalation very professional.

Our 4kw system was originally installed in 2012 but needed an upgrade to be able to store excess energy instead of sending it back to the grid. Gary Lewis came out and went through the details with us. We settled on Huawei 14kw battery with a new inverter.
Hans came out and installed it and did an excellent job. He worked efficiently and tidily, was very pleasant and having installed everything and tested it, showed us the app and made sure we understood the basics.
Even when Huawei updated the app, causing a slight issue for us, first
Chloe and then Neil dealt with the issue much quicker than we had thought it would be. We cannot praise the company and all it's representatives highly enough.
Oh, and we project and 85% - 90% reduction in energy spend.

All is good product is excellent

It took only couple of month from the first consultation to full installation of our panels. Sale representative was very attentive and helpful with great knowledge of the product and not push selling like most of the other company we had contact with. Installation was done in a day. We are nearly year into the use of our panels and already seen massive improvement in our energy bill.

Everything from original survey to installation, went really well. Install was completed in a day and the installer, Hans, and his team were a credit to the company. Highly recommend using Solarhome.

From start to finish, the guys were very professional and accommodating, would highly recommended them.

Avoid at all costs. Even when we pointed out he was pressuring vulnerable adults he continues. Awful experence.

Our first contact with SolarHome was through Brandon Taylor. We spoke on the phone and Brandon outline the process and that there would nothing intimidating in their process - that is until he turns up at the door - all 6' 4" of a South African ex-rugby player - nope not intimidating at all!
Brandon was absolutely lovely though - he put us completely at ease, explained the process, the pros and cons and provided a number of different solutions depending on how we wanted to proceed and build the solar system. He was patient, professional and polite. After leaving he said if there were any further questions to contact him, we did and he replied promptly and professionally. At no time was there any further pressure or tactics to purchase the system, they simply relied on the quality of the system. We placed the order.
When the installation came around, the scaffolding went up in two days, the system was installed and commissioned in a day and the scaffolding came down the following day, everything done in under a week. Again, the scaffolders and installers were all professional and polite.
Since having the system up and running now for a few days, everything is working fine. We've been in touch with their technical team to ask some questions and Neil replied with full and clear answers along with some further advice.
All in all, whilst SolarHome admit that they are not the cheapest, the quality of their staff and equipment is worth far, far more that whatever savings we could have made. Not only have they made a valuable customer but an evangelical one to sing their praises!

After some research, my husband came across Solarhomes.
We were visited by Brandon from Solarhomes. He was with us for a couple of hours, he was very enlightening , positive, enthusiastic regarding the benefits of solar panels. I needed convincing. Less than a week after we had the solar panels installed we can see the difference. The installation was carried out quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended!

I was looking to have installed a solar and battery storage system for my home to reduce my energy expenditure. I did a LOT of research into companies who do this work and came up with a shortlist to do a quote. 2 of the 5 on the list were only interested in doing a quote for a setup of their own design remotely and did not seem interested in visiting and talking to me in person. A third visited but did not listen to what I was asking for and was only interested in quoting for his own "out of the box" solution which did not meet my specification. The final two had similar and much better approaches, and the winner was SolarHome based out of Colchester, Essex. Their rep Ben Smith visited my home and took time to listen to what I was asking for before discussing the options available to me. Whilst Ben did alter my opinion on some of the equipment I was considering, there was never any element of pressure to "sign up today" - it was purely based around achieving my goals as the customer and not his goals as a salesman. Having been in sales for many years this was a refreshing approach from a man who had a system similar to what I was after in his own home and was happy to show me how and why he had made this investment himself. He was able to show me samples of the equipment I was looking at and then went away to draw up a proposal for the system I eventually ordered, witha a variety of options to choose from in the process. The application for G99 approval was handled smoothly, the install scheduled for a date to suit me and the required scaffolding arranged with a local firm. On install day itself the team of 3 turned up on time and worked through the day to finish what is a sizeable job in one day. The electrician Hans is clearly both very experienced and knowledgeable about the kit he installs, and used his inititative to hide some of the trunking from the solar panels to the inverter in a clever way, leaving a better asthetic than would otherwise have been the case. In the two days since the install my home has consumed no electricity from the grid and I am very happy with every aspect of the work SolarHome have done. A note about pricing. This was not the cheapest quote I recieved by any means but if you want to purchase quality equipment from a firm who know what they are doing and get the end result that YOU require, I cannot recommend this firm highly enough; at the end of the day you should get what you pay for and I have certainly got that from SolarHome. For the record I have no affiliation with or financial interest in Solar home; I am simply a satisfied customer who is happy to recommend their work.

I rang up as had got a new mobile phone & the app Solarhome use hadn't copied over to the new phone. The lady who helped me was excellent, as ever, really helpful, patient & kind. I have had cause to ring her a few times over the 3 years we have been with Solarhome & every time she has been able to talk me through how to solve the problem myself. I would thoroughly recommend the service from Solarhome.

Very efficient, very obliging, good workers

Excellent service from the first enquiry to the final installation. Had a number of questions at different points in the process but always got a very quick and informative response.

Prompt installation once quote agreed. The installers were efficient and supported the setting up of the app etc. It quickly became apparent that a larger battery would fit our usage pattern, unfortunately this was not mentioned by the rep, I assume to ensure the quote was competitive. We had the battery housed outside the house rather than in the loft. I have installed a greenhouse around the battery to provide appropriate weather protection as identified in the manufacturers data sheets. This proven to be a boon as the heat charging produces is keeping the greenhouse 5degrees above the outside temperature.
