SolarHome was recommended to us by a family member and from moment we engaged, they have been nothing but friendly, professional, helpful and very knowledgeable about solar energy. We had contacted other companies. Most of them did a remote survey and gave a quote without visiting the property. SolarHome (Ash) did visit the property, explained how solar energy works and gave some really useful tips even without buying or committing. This is when we knew that these guys were right for the job. They may come in a little more expensive than others, but the brand of panels and batteries they provide are of premium quality and therefore justify the price. It really is an investment. When installation day came, the chaps (Hunt and Tom) did a brilliant job. Got the panels up and set up everything really nicely and ensured we were happy with the job done. They tidied up after and did a very clean and thorough job. Also, the team at the office have been very friendly and helpful and respond very quickly. Would highly recommend SolarHome, without any hesitation. Thank you all for a wonderful job.

Really happy with installation and how it works, if i could see.
Why do I have to pay them £60 plus a day off to change router information. That's going to end up expensive every 18 months or if the router is replaced. The rest of the devices in the home don't seem to have a problem.

Great service from start to finish. The team arrived on time and were well prepared for the installation due to the effective survey carried out before the installation.
We have a difficult roof to work on but the team were excellent, replacing any tiles they broke. The installations in the loft of Inverter and Battery plus all the other cabling were professionally carried out to a high standard.
The panels work very well. Very pleased.

I decided to go with Solarhome as I don’t think getting a cheaper inferior solar panel system is worth it in the long run. They are not the cheapest but definitely one of the best products on the market.
The installation was perfect and the guy who installed the system was fantastic as it poured with rain all day and he didn’t complain once and still had a smile on his face at the end of the day.
The whole experience was spot on and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is thinking of a solar panel system.
I went with the glass/ glass panels and a 10 kw huawei Luna2000 battery. I’m all electric so will definitely make a difference. A bit early to say but so far it’s definitely making a difference in my monthly electric bills.

Solar-home completed the installation of solar panels in December 2023. A data logger was also fitted which gives me read outs on a daily basis of the amount of electricity manufactured. End of January I had a minor question about the app. Chloe took time and trouble to find the answer from a technician and then ring me back with an explanation. Thank you, Chloe!

From our first contact, to the visit from Brandon the advisor, who was very knowledgeable and gave honest, straightforward advice. To the whole process of ordering, execution of all the elements through to completion was seamless. Everyone we had dealings with within the company were a pleasure to deal with.

The product seems very good. Only two instead of 3 installers turned as one was unwell. The 2 installers struggled somewhat when the job really demands 3. The guys cracked a couple of roof tiles when installing the panels and then claimed they were like that before they got on the roof. This was not the case. I keep meaning to contact Solarhome to replace the tiles and will do so.

They offer decent products with reasonable warranty, installation went smooth. The only let down was when I had a glitch a monthish after instalation which tripped the whole system nobody rang me back and helped to find a reason of this malfunction.
I'm overall happy with the product

Sales experience was pleasant and not in any way pushy. We were left to continue shopping around and then get back to her.
Installation was perfect and very meticulously planned and carried out ensuring cables etc were hidden from view.
Phoned twice to ask advice on how to tweak the battery modes and each time someone answered quickly and provided exactly what we needed.
The panels are surprisingly productive even during January and look perfect.
Not the lowest quote we had but easy to understand why it was a bit more.

The company was profesional right from the start. The quote was well explained and well presented. The scaffolding was erected and taken down without any problems and the solar panels were fitted quickly and effeciently.

I was pleased with the Stetson to detail and the quality of workmen.
During the summer the performance seamed fine but now I am decidedly disappointed.
On a very good day I get short periods of never more than .6 of a kw and for a miserably short time, mid day is less than early because there are no South facin panels.

Solar panel installation on one of the hottest days of the summer. 2 days booked for the job, carried out in a day. This lead to tired installers making incorrect wiring of the system and leaving cracked conduit to the consumer unit.
A different guy turned up the next day to resolve the incorrect wiring from the day before.
The system works well

Searching for the right vendor to install a Solar Panel system, without prior experience or know how is a challenge. Through this journey of reading, asking around and taking different offers (without going crazy) I found solarhome with the strongest offering. They were also confident about their proposal and design where half of the companies refused to provide an offer because of my flat roof.

The winning points - IMHO
1. Top quality panels - do your research
2. Top quality batteries and inverter from Huwaei - also looks nice when installed
3. fairly fast turn around times from sale-> to inspection -> to fitting the system
4. Guarantee and after sales support -

Credits to Ben (sales) who was pretty honest about the offer and was happy to discuss diffrent aspects of then offer and to the crew that fitted the system doing a very clean job.

The equipment looks super sleek, the wiring and installation of the panels was really good. The provided software that comes along with the system is pretty solid and it will get yoi hooked with the graphs and status reports!

The company provided excellent information about the products they install and the guarantees provided with the installation. Their staff were very efficient with their communications and kept us well informed on the progress of our order.
The surveyor and installers were knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. The whole installation went smoothly and the panels are working successfully.

Brandon was very well trained and really sold the product. Was disappointed that I was informed that it would be cheaper to get a contractor to install bird proofing and that the solar home bird proofing would be expensive. after install I got some quotes for bird proofing only to find that it would cost me the same price and some quotes were more so make sure you ask for bird proofing. Had a couple of problems with the panels after install, first one was one of the connections on the string was missed which is easily done considering that they were in a rush so only had one string working but customer service were quick to reply and got an engineer out that day, felt sorry for him as it was late and he had travelled far from another job. The second problem was that I found that I had the 10 millionth promotion panel as you could see the marking left on the panel from the skickers, I informed customer service and they send the installers next morning to swap the panel. The Electrician I think his name was Dave did a very tidy job on the inverter and battery install that I was pleased with. The installers were very quick with the install and finished that afternoon. Would definitely recommend Solarhome but would advise to be adamant in getting the bird proofing installed. I’m just wondering if solar home are strict with the installers and putting them under pressure to do a job and knock to get lots of installs in as quick as they can and that bird proofing would hold them up maybe.
