Our solar panel installation took place in May 2024. The sales and installation could not have gone better.

Post sales is a disaster when you have an issue. We have had an ongoing issue where the battery fails to re-charge overnight when the battery reaches to minimum charge level. If the sun shines and the PV system keeps the battery charged, you will be ok. If you use the system heavily on a dull day and drain the battery, expect trouble. The minimum battery charge level was initially set at 20% at installation.

I made multiple calls to the SolarSaves office to report the failure to re-charge issue and each time it appeared to be recorded as a new issue. Following many calls to the Solar Saves office, including an email to register a complaint (which has been read but not even acknowledged), we eventually received a site visit and a factory reset was performed on the inverter. The minimum battery level was then set to 24% instead of 20%. We were promised the system would be monitored for the next few weeks.

Since the site visit, there have been multiple charging failures. I have called the SolarSaves office on multiple occasions, usually having to leave a message on an answer phone system, trying to get an update on our issue. We have been promised return calls and nothing.

Be warned, this company is only interested in taking your money and installing the system. After sales support is almost non existent and the company has no interest in you once they have received payment.

Solarsaves representative giving quotation appeared very thorough in assessing the suitability of my house for solar panels and then quickly put togather a quotation.
Staff assembling scaffolding and those installing the panels arrived punctually and were quick and efficient at their work.
The actual electricity generated by the panels in the seven months since they were installed has been about 10 to 15 % greater than Solarsave's original estimate.

A brilliant company gave all the knowledge and experience and could not do enough for us.
Advised of everything and each stage of the process. The install was flawless and the information on what to expect was spot on.

Ment to pay less for electricity unfortunately now paying double over two months. Not recommending.

I was satisfied with the professionalism of everyone I delt with before I parted with any money. The installation was carried out by the same level of service. Overall I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship. 5 star service. I would recommend it to anyone.

Scaffolders polite and completed in a very acceptable timescale. The Solar save guys were terrific no mess battery and investor fitted again no mess would not hesitate to recommend them.

save your money or go to a small independent business that have respect for the customers .

All options were discussed and our questions were answered confidently. The planned installation went smoothly and very efficiently. The company also followed up with us to be sure the system was working as it should. all was good SolarSaves from start to finish and my energy bill have gone down. the only down side was when it came to explaining how my smart meter work on the export side of it they did no demonstration on how to to do it,

The scaffolding arrived and was installed at the appointed time. The panel installers arrived on time and worked hard and quickly, despite the heat of the day. They were friendly, efficient and tidy. They did a splendid job. I would certainly recommend them.

From the consultation to the installation everything was explained in detail! On the installation day there was an issue with my roof so special bolts had to be ordered! This took about 4 days and the guys came out and installed the system with no issues! One guy showed me how to upload and work the app before they left! Scaffolding was removed the following day! Everyone was friendly and got on with their jobs and the whole installation took around 4 or 5 hours!
I'm having issues with my broadband so I haven't been able to access the app yet but I can't wait to see how small my electricity bills will be and how much I earn is selling my spare electricity back to the national grid!! 100% recommend SolarSaves!!

Advice before and after survey and plenty of time to think over quote before deciding to go ahead.
Installation crew arrived on time and were courteous and made sure I knew that system was working and how to monitor it. Left area tidy and removed packaging etc.

The whole process was seamless and professional even down to Stuart, Ben and Liam the installation guys who went above and beyond explaining what they were doing and how the system worked
