Horrific. The egg fried rice had alot of greece the noodles were really hard the chicken in the chicken popers were really hard to bite into kept giving us food when we said we had enough ice cream was basically a rock staff looked disinterested and it was like a funeral no one but me and my family was there.

Food luke warm staff disinterested. Lacked variety. Ice cream rock hard and looked like it had been frozen thawed and the refrozen. Not worth the £14+ per person we paid. When this restaurant was East it was great - how sad that it has gone down so far. No wonder there were hardly any people in there. Would not go there again or recommend it to anyone.

Wow. Stupidly thought the ‘opening deal’ was a limited period offer - but after reading other reviews - we’ve realised we’re well and truly scammed. It’s not even worth 7.99. Partner almost lost a tooth on an unknown charred piece of something from the curries and chicken was pink near the bone. He was put off everything else.
No atmosphere, bare, hand written signs on post it notes, lids not on food, food lukewarm so I won’t be surprised if I get gut ache tonight or tomorrow or even worse… We didn’t get a second portion… we paid and left! Why it still exists is beyond us.

Don't waste your money!!!! Glad I only paid £7.99. Not a great selection of food, some was just about warm. Dishes were marked wrongly so if you had an allergy you could have been in a danger zone!!!! I have never had curries with so many bones in it. Had a plate of bone left. Find somewhere else because u can't see them lasting very long.

Came to this restaurant on a visit to southend. There was a good variety of food with fresh fruit and salad. Fresh starters, mains and dessert, all at a great price for a buffet. Music in the background was nice and staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Would recommend this restaurant. Really enjoyed our experience. Thank you

Gruesome food. It smells like dog chow but doesn't taste as good. I left harrowed and disappointed that I'd consumed so many calories on something that brought so little joy.

Saw this restaurant as we walked by, thought we’d try ion a whim as it was half price. No atmosphere when we got in, the place looked absolutely bare. Owner and chef sat at a table on their phones for 30 mins while food trays were empty. Food was awful, the BYO alcohol was the best part of the experience that we purchased from over the road!! Whole experience was a farce, comical upon reflection, owner is fully deluded. 100% would not recommend unless you’re looking for a laugh and to eat elsewhere afterwards!

This is neither one thing nor the other food wise. The only Chinese is the noodles and rice, the Italian just pasta shells, some Indian food, some Mongolian dish and English. They would do better being an all you can eat Indian with English food as well as the head staff appear to be asian. The desserts are a joke, runny cold custard with bits of fruit, cold tice pudding, the jelly and watermelon was Ok though. No choice of coffee which we had to wait to percolate. Food was only lukewarm. This place will not last unless it gets it act together. I would never have paid the full price and tolerated it at half price.

Have to agree with all the other bad reviews. Be surprised if it lasts another month.

Glad we went just so we had some funny stories to tell the family! The “rice pudding” has to be seen to be believed! Awful place, won’t be there in 3 months.

Currently half-price, but still not worth it! The Chinese dishes did not taste Chinese, often swimming in oil and lacking any flavour. The chicken sweetcorn soup was cold, with massive chunks of chicken in it. The egg fried rice beared no resemblance to standard egg fried rice. The samosas looked like they were straight out of a packet. The poppadoms had a strange after taste. The Pakistani/Indian dishes were barely acceptable. Some of the food appeared to be congealing. The sweet dishes were Pakistani/Indian in origin and either cold or too sweet. The range of food was extremely limited and poorly executed. This is a fourth iteration of the restaurant at that site since I've been here from 2015. Back then, the Oriental food was prepared to a reasonable standard, but never came close to Tang's near Odeon Cinema at the top of the City Centre. The Coke here was warm and flat, served out of a 2 litre Coke bottle. Even at £7.99 a head (half price buffet), it's not worth it. The quality is that poor! Not visiting again. The barbecue chicken wings looked and tasted like the ones that can be found in Iceland. I saw a customer eating directly from the buffet and he was not stopped. Food hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. I am surprised that Southend Environmental Health have not intervened as yet. I doubt the restaurant (if one can call it that) will survive its fourth iteration. I would recommend anywhere else to eat, even at £7.99 a head!

If I could give a no stars I would. The food was disgusting!! The selection of food was not as advertised. The so called “chicken balls” was sitting in loads of oil. The chips was not edible.

The staff barely spoke to us, they just told us to pick our own table and that was the only communication we had with them, we had to go over and order drinks, no explaining the buffet, no clearing dirty plates. When paying they asked if we liked the food and we was honest and said no and they laughed!!

The music in there was swearing even though there was family’s with children, do you really think that’s acceptable??

Please avoid. The worst buffet restaurant. Food was disgusting no flavour poor quality dirty cold and green flies all over the food. Staff members spraying bleach spray over the food instead of spraying directly to the cleaning clothe. Fake online and poster advertising fake pictures. Believe me if you go there you will be disappointed. All around the food is dirty. Staff members also picked the food dropped on the floor and put it back to the buffet tray with their dirty hands. Omg I would never go there again and please read this review and avoid this place. This restaurant is supposed to be closed.

If there was a zero star option I would choose that. No one came to seat us when we arrived , no labels on the food. Poor food selection, food tasted burnt and the desserts were cut into toddler sized pieces, poor service, no music playing, toilets not cleaned regulary. Waitresses had sunglasses on their heads and constantly on phones. Very dull atmosphere in general. Painting taking place while people were eating when we have walked past since. Such a shame.

The worst food I've ever had.
It's half price at the moment and we decided to pop in.
The selection is very substandard. The buffet was very limited. Some of the dishes weren't labelled or labelled with chicken but had no meat in them whatsoever.
Some of the dishes were congealed to the metal tray as if they had been there for hours.
There was a pot at the end without a label and I couldn't even guess what it was. Looked like wallpaper paste and tomatoes.
The lamb had loads of sharp bit of bone in it.
The salad was actually warm and starting to brown.
We were there 20 mins and had to go over to the staff at the till, who were all on their mobiles to ask for a drink. The drink was warm, flat coke straight out of a bottle with no ice and a lifeless bit of lemon thrown in.

To pay we again went to the till and th staff were again on their phones and asked a girl who was clearly on her break and eating to come to the till to take the money whilst they are just sat there.

This place would likely get a 1 star food rating at best and will likely be shut very soon. Avoid this place at all costs.

Had a lovely meal this weekend here, only to be ruined by an elderly group who spoke to the staff with absolutely no respect, who treated the ladies who work here like dirt! Good on you girls for standing your ground, excellent service & tasty food, will definitely return. After working in London hospitality for 6 years, I know how difficult people can be, you guys dealt with them with them with 10x more respect than they paid you! A pay rise is in order!
