Disappointed with Customer ServiceTitle

I had heard good things about Sparesbox, which is why I chose to purchase DBA brake discs from them in February 2024. Unfortunately, after only 10,000 km, I started experiencing severe vibrations in the steering wheel and an unusual ticking noise when braking.

When I reached out to customer service, I was simply told that the warranty had expired, with no real effort to understand the issue or offer a solution. I understand that policies exist, but given how prematurely these discs failed, I expected a bit more support and consideration.

It’s disappointing, as I trusted Sparesbox when making this purchase. I hope they reconsider their approach to customer service and better support.

Part 2 weeks late

Ordered a part I need to get my car running, was meant to arrive 2 weeks ago. Last update on the tracking was over 3 weeks ago and still nothing, emailed support 5 days ago and I've gotten no response at all and I'm reaching the point of asking for a refund. Whats the point of having support if your not going to respond

Thanks for your review, and we're really sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We’ve seen a sharp increase in customers reaching out about delayed parcels, particularly over the end of last week and the weekend, following courier impacts in QLD caused by Cyclone Alfred and the resulting flooding. It’s taken us longer than we would’ve liked to respond, and we’re sorry we didn’t get back to you on Friday.

Looking into your order, it was dispatched on the 3rd of March and received a scan on the 6th, but unfortunately didn’t receive any further tracking updates. Our team followed up with Couriers Please today and were advised that the parcel was damaged in transit. It wasn’t scanned as damaged at the time, which is normally what triggers a notification to us so we can reach out proactively, so we completely understand how disappointing this has been. We’ve passed this feedback on to the courier to help prevent situations like this in the future.

This isn’t the experience we want for our customers, and we’re genuinely sorry it’s played out this way. I will be in touch shortly with a voucher for a future purchase as we’d truly appreciate the opportunity to rebuild your trust in Sparesbox.

Extremely poor service, did not ship

Ordered some parts, fairly common suspension bushing, no response after 10 days, conteced them they keep claiming to get back to me within 2 days with an update, never do! And now trying to cancel my order and get my money back. Don't ever order from here if you want to see something for your money

I’m really sorry for the poor experience you’ve had with this order, Niki. I completely understand your frustration, when you purchase a special order product, you expect clear and timely updates, and we didn’t deliver on that. That’s not the experience we want for our customers, and I sincerely apologise.

Your order was delayed due to freight disruptions caused by Cyclone Alfred, which forced the inbound freight provider's warehouse to close and created a significant backlog. That being said, we should have proactively kept you informed rather than leaving you to chase for updates.

I can see that you cancelled your order yesterday at 2pm and it's since been refunded, but I wanted to let you know that the suspension bushes arrived in stock at 4pm yesterday. If you still need them, I’d be happy to offer a discount and express shipping to get them to you as quickly as possible. I've sent you through an email with all the details.

We are working on improving how we handle situations like this to ensure better experiences for our customers in the future. I appreciate your feedback, and I’m truly sorry we let you down this time.

10 day arrival time not true

I ordered some parts for my car (lower control arms
As I went trough payment and shipping everything was saying it would arrive in 10 days on the SHOP app it said 10 day arrival time it has now been 9 days the package has not been dispatched and won’t be for another 3 days making it 12 days
This wouldn’t be an issue but I was relying on the 10 day deliver for my part as my car is booked in for part fitting and other work in the small town I live in it’s hard to get a mechanic who can get stuff done as they’re very busy if they aren’t here by the day my car goes in my car will be pushed back 3-4 weeks until they can get it back in

Your special order was placed on the 28th of February with an estimated delivery timeframe of 10 business days, meaning it was expected to arrive around the 14th of March. Your order was dispatched on the 10th of March and delivered on the 11th, arriving on the 7th business day, earlier than expected.

We completely understand how frustrating scheduling delays can be when relying on a mechanic’s availability, and we always aim to provide the clearest possible delivery expectations. If there’s anything else we can assist with, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Received water pump for a Kia Carnival.Item does not properly fit, as it locks in when bolted. .Sparesbox has been giving me the run around.

However, based on our records, the water pump supplied matches the correct fitment for your vehicle. We requested images of the issue to better understand what’s happened before proceeding with a return, as we want to make sure it's genuinely a manufacturing fault. If it turns out not to be, sending it back would only waste your time and likely cause more frustration. Our goal is to find the best solution as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us do that.
