I can't recommend SPL enough. As a first time buyer and non-UK citizen, I had many questions when I started the process and can say that I really benefited from the dedication and patience from the SPL team. They made me feel confident about the purchase process and also kept me informed along the way. Lorraine was a superstar and without her relentless help I'm sure that my purchase would have been delayed in weeks, if not months. Excellent service from the team - Lorraine, Megan, Jackie and Alex. There were some difficulties at times but Lorraine was very good and calm, particularly when There were issues near exchange and completion dates.

I chose this firm because they were listed in my mortgage provider partners list and local to me. The service was good overall and very personalised: my conveyancer knew me by name and always got back to me in a very timely manner when I had a query or request.
They charged a bit more than my usual solicitor would, but not too much more.

Efficient cost effective conveyancing
I was initially a little sceptical at using an in house firm of solicitors as part of an all in one arrangement with agents Vickery. However matters progressed promptly and effectively with Jackie Stilwell and Meghan Rees dealing with the conveyancing. The sale concluded without a hiccup - I would happily use their services again.

I cannot say thank you enough to Lorraine Down and her team. They have been so helpful and accommodating since day one! They understood very much our need and questions as first time buyer. With the first house we agreed to purchase, the seller pulled out at the very last minute nearer to the exchange. But I think overall, it was a blessing in disguise. Specialist Property Lawyers service was so valuable and value for money too. Lorraine and the team was very supportive and quickly help us with a different house. Unfortunately we then had another issue with the lender and in the end we ended up reapplying a different mortgage. Again, Lorraine was so hands-on with us. Whenever I need to speak to her or unsure about something, she was always there to support me (very approachable). Thank you so much! SPL for Kingston sale - Fabulous team
My estate agent recommended a firm of solicitors in Kingston that they "always work with" but they seemed quite expensive from some quick market research so I contacted SPL on the recommendation of a friend. I'm glad I did as I couldn't be more satisfied with the job SPL did, particularly the assistance provided by Jackie Stilwell and Megan Rees. Definitely a few bumps along the road with the chain but the handling was excellent. An extremely professional service is always reassuring when things don't go exactly the way you expect them to and you need information and advice quickly; that's where the experience, professionalism and persistence kicks in.
I would definitely use SPL again. Thanks!
