Convenient sized portions of spice in airtight containers keeping them fresh. Good quality

Ordered in March and chased delivery multiple times up to July at which point I asked for a refund. They offered eventually to send out in June without the nutmeg or I could wait a week at which point it would be in stock. I chose to wait but after me chasing them again, it was pretty clear my order couldn’t be fulfilled. I don’t get how they don’t communicate to give updates on an order you placed months ago. They don’t appear to have the stock to fulfill pre-orders. Shame as the product looks great.

Bought a 12 pack as a Christmas present. 4 out of stock and was told they would arrive just after Christmas.
Follow up email said would arrive end of February still no sign and no reply to emails very dissatisfied

Even though not all of the spices were in stock, Spice Department came thorough with a pragmatic solution that meant that the gift could be given as a present.

Delivered in time for Christmas. Unavailable items substituted and this was well communicated.

Brilliant service from the Spice Dept. The CEO wrote to me personally to explain they couldn't deliver all 12 spices before Christmas but they would include 4 substitutes and forward the original 4 in January, free of charge. The tins look great and I can't wait to see if they taste as good as they look.

Absolutely fantastic product. The little communication after a very little hiccup has felt very personal and shows the dedication to providing a great product with the best of intentions. The spices themselves look great in their tins. The spice itself is absolutely perfect so far. It was a gift for my partner who could not have been happier. I wish only the best for Spice Dept and will keep an eye out and follow them going forward.

Great packaging. Have so far tried the turmeric (amazing!), peppercorns (quite different - used in Peposa) and have sniffed all the others! A different experience - give it a go!!!!!!
