Spokenly Opiniones

Spokenly improves over its competition in some important ways. Firstly, using the same combination of offline models, it appears to put less memory pressure on my MacBook than Superwhisper. The system prompt seems like it is a little bit more finely tuned as well, because writing effective prompts for custom modes requires less fiddling. For example, it is easier to get Spokenly to output text without adding unnecessary markdown formatting. One minor negative point is the settings UI: certain things weren't totally clear to me, like the fact that it references a default text model, but doesn't seem to offer any way to change it, and it's not totally obvious how to bypass it entirely. Some settings are simply undocumented. Regardless, once you have the app configured to your liking, the experience of using it on a day-to-day basis is really smooth and pleasant.

Spokenly has become an essential part of my daily workflow as a power user who dictates heavily across multiple apps and contexts. The app performance is excellent, the mode system is flexible enough to handle genuinely complex use cases, and the app just works the way you expect it to.

What sets Spokenly apart from other dictation tools I've used is Vadim's responsiveness as a developer. Bug reports are met with engagement. Feature requests get real consideration and often ship. This isn't common in indie software, and it's the kind of developer relationship that makes you want to invest more deeply in the tool because you know the feedback loop is real.

If you're serious about dictation on Mac or iOS, Spokenly is worth your time. The app is good, and the person behind it makes it better.

Great product. Especially for multilingual, being able to use local model with auto language selection is a game changer. A must-have for builders of the AI era.

As of now I can't live without it.

Simple, straightforward to use, gets the job done without annoying frills and complex UI. Honestly very underrated. I have tried other competitor apps and I have found them to try just too hard. This one rocks.
