Easy to make reservations
Easy to make reservations. Immediate email confirmation received. I took off one star because I don’t remember seeing anything about the 2 extra fees, that were almost $50 total, prior to confirming purchase. If they were there, they should be more noticeable. If they aren’t there, be prepared.

This fee, often less than 10%, allows us to keep providing personal service to help our travelers boom RV spots in real-time instead of spending their time searching for availability and calling campgrounds. Our fees, taxes, as well as any other charges from the campground, are shown in your cart before checkout for total transparency.

The 10% transaction fee was too much
The 10% transaction fee was too much. Then I still owed $ at check in time at RV park when I thought I paid in full. No one at RV park could explain why and I was told they could not override the reservation system. Will not use Spot2Nite ever again. I usually have at least 25 different camping reservations per year and this one was not a good experience.

We apologize for the confusion at the check in and the error on the campground folio. It did not properly reflect your discounts. We have clarified that folio, and they are refunding the overcharge to your card. Indeed, all Spot2Nite reservations arrive paid in full, and our travelers do not have to pay at the desk unless they are adding additional items from the campground store or extra nights at the park. Exorbitant fees, just a book a reservation
The three extra charges on the bill once received added up to $70. The nightly stay at our campground was only $55. I realize spot tonight is a convenience at the extra fees are absolutely not worth it. We will never be using spot tonight again.

While we do charge a convenience fee for showing you availability in real time for multiple parks with your personal filters and live customer service, you will find our fee is maximum 10% of the spot cost, and often less. I would be happy to go through your invoice with to take a look at the potential taxes and park fees you may have seen.

Driving down the 5 in a brand-new…
Driving down the 5 in a brand-new Rv…did not have reservations and the Sun was going down. Stayed at a beautiful winery and booked it while in the car. Easy process, nice quiet spot, perfect first night. Thank you!

The campsite did not receive payment…
The campsite did not receive payment from you or any communication to reserve a spot. We were lucky they could accommodate us. How do I get a refund?
I had to pay them before I left the campground. They never got paid by you.

As you know, through our follow-up and research indeed they had your reservation (thus the space) and were paid immediately at the time of booking. Additionally, we have refunded your payment to clear the folio. This has been the worst experience…
This has been the worst experience ever. I booked 3 reservations for the Bayfield Riverside Resort and your system screwed up everything. Bayfield can't find our reservations and can't see the payments we made. I've spent wayyyyy too much time trying to figure things out. We travel a lot and use Good Sam for our bookings. We've NEVER had such a screwed up reservation.

I booked a site with Spot2nite and less…
I booked a site with Spot2nite and less than an hour later I receive an email stating they cancelled my site per my request. I did not request the site to be canceled, they just did it and told me I would receive a refund in 5-10 days. Now the refund is showing in my card but for an amount less than I originally paid.

Beyond Met Expectations
Upon booking, I realized I needed to add an additional day to my reservation. I called and talked to Emily, who was absolutely wonderful!! Nowadays, calling a 1-800 number for help usually results in talking with someone who isn't friendly or helpful, so I was calibrated for a hassle. Emily was the polar opposite of that! She happily noted my changes, said she would contact the property and then call me back the next day to confirm...and she did!!! Kudos to Emily. I am not 100% confident in using Spot2Nite. Thank you!
