Not Happy…
First of all we thought we were making a reservation through Good Sam's and were totally unaware there would be a booking fee. The Good Sam's membership number to fill in did not stand out to us. When we cancelled our reservations, we cancelled them through the park we where were booked and the communication between the two was nonexistent. SO I had to track down the refund. By the way the RV Park was very helpful.

Booking difficulty
I had a difficult time booking my reservation and called the help number. The young woman I reached went above and beyond helping me booking my reservation. There was difficulty at the site I was booking and she contacted the park and then called me back when they had been able to reconnect their WIFI. I believe her name was Emily.

BUYER BEWARE—HIGH SERVICE CHARGES
Spot2nite has a credit card charge I was told of $15.00 for running my card. That seems outrageous!!! I will obviously never use their services again and would encourage others to “BUYER BEWARE”. I WAS PROMISED AN EMAIL EXPLAINING HOW 3 nights that cost $160.05 resulted in a charge of $199.63. The email never arrived!
After reading the comments below, I must state: FIRST— No email arrived! However, I was able to retrieve my original receipt date 4/27/2023. I must correct the transaction fee charged. I was quoted $15.00 as stated above, however the $15.00 is actually the Spot2Nite charge of 10% for making the reservation and the transaction fee for running my credit card was only $6.19. Again I reiterate, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

We’re glad you enjoyed the park as we discussed earlier. I believe we have a misunderstanding about the taxes for your stay. The receipt you received directly from the park did not represent any of the taxes that were charged for your stay— so when you compare it with your Spot2Nite charges, I understand the amounts are not the same. I am sending you your Spot2Nite confirmation email again and would be happy to go through each line with you to make sure we have a better understanding.
There was a Spot2Nite booking fee and 12.3% tax charged from the park that were displayed before booking, as we strive for total transparency. I look forward to speaking with you again to clear up any misunderstanding.

Everything worked well
Everything worked well. We got right in to the park.
The only thing amiss was that I am a Good Sam member, the park is a Good Sam Park and I didn’t get to apply my discount.

First time using the site
First time using the site. Reservation went well although fees seem high. Arrived at campground and the owner wasn't aware that we were coming. Thankfully she had a site that accomodated us. I forwarded our confirmation email and she is going to try and figure out why she wasnt notified.

Spot2Nite - Terrible Customer Service
Spot2Nite states that they have a full refund policy but further down it says there's a $20.00 cancellation fee, which is not a full refund. What really irritated me was that they took more money than the $20.00 cancellation fee, again not a full refund. If anyone is listening or reviewing my comments, book directly with the resorts because Spot2Nite is only interested in taking your money and not providing good customer service.

Hi Michael, Thank you for the feedback and for taking the time to review. Spot2Nite does not charge a cancellation fee— each individual campground determines their own cancellation policy. While your convenience charge and transaction fees are non-refundable, as outlined before check-out, the refund of your reservation cost is park-specific. The cancellation policy and all other park-specific rules and info are displayed while browsing parks, as well as in your shopping cart and confirmation email. If you ever have any specific questions about a Park’s policies, we are always more than happy to talk by phone, email, or text anytime! Safe travels!
