Thank you for sharing your perspective on the situation. I'd like to clarify the series of events to ensure everyone understands what happened.

You submitted a best offer on eBay early on the 4th of November, which we accepted at 8:14 AM. eBay processed the payment automatically at that time. We promptly dispatched your order, and it was collected by the transport company around noon. Later that afternoon, at 3:09 PM, you messaged us requesting to cancel the order because you wanted to pay in installments. Unfortunately, the item had already left our facility, making it impossible to cancel the shipment at that stage, and we communicated this to you.

You placed another offer on eBay at 11:44 PM the same day, hoping to pay in installments and cancel the first order. However, eBay again took full payment instead of the installment option you anticipated. As a result, we canceled this second order on the morning of the 5th of November. When you tried to make a third offer, we had to reject it based on eBay's advice, as eBay automatically processes the payment in full when an offer is accepted, without an option for installments.

Regarding the return of the item, we informed you that carriers like DPD and UPS do not ship appliances of such size and weight, and recommended using a pallet network similar to the service we used to dispatch your item. When you suggested that we support you in placing another order and applying an eBay voucher of £75, we explained that eBay confirmed the voucher is not applicable to "best offers."

Considering the attempts to place multiple orders, we were uncertain why this was pursued if affordability was a concern, as placing three orders totaling £4605 indicates significant available funds.

Upon receiving the returned item, we issued you a full refund, despite incurring a cost of £59.37 for the initial shipment. Your claim of paying £150 for return shipment does seem a little excessive so i would take it up with the courier you used (Pallet2Ship) as on their website they quote £89.63 inc VAT from RM3 to ST6 postcode.

As the saying goes, "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time." Your feedback was removed by eBay due to your attempt to influence our actions, which is why you have resorted to leaving a review on Trustpilot.
