Keep away from transport department for…

Keep away from transport department for any cost. Doesn't matter if you want to drive or seat in the office. Fake and hostile environment. For drivers - hard and unsafe work where you need to carry 20 kg bags on and off second floor quite often into medieval buildings basements - H&S is just empty slogan

Shockingly terrible

Shockingly terrible! I’m an innocent recipient of damage to my property made by one of their delivery staff to someone else in the building. They refused to take any responsibility and were horribly rude and dismissive. This has to be the worst customer service I’ve experienced in many years. If you’re considering setting up an account with this company, don’t!

Great staff

Great staff, great linen, a bit pricy but worth it on the long run. Can't knock the service and turn round, keeps the business running smoothly with little stress.

Johnsons Stalbridge worst company EVER…

Johnsons Stalbridge worst company EVER - not to be trusted. Do not know how to talk to customers. Laundry was always late and sometimes we had to source else where as they let us down. Warning do not use this company as you will be VERY disappointed.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I'd give zero stars if I could

Johnsons / London Linen / London Workwear they're all the same and I'd give zero stars if I could - a horrendous, hard to deal with company. I've found droppings in my fresh linen bags and been charged for replacements because 'there is no way the linen could have been delivered like that'. I've been shorted linen and had to pay for delivery because somehow it is my own fault? I've been charged excess fees on my invoices most months for extra items apparently sent that are not part of my contract of that I've been aware of - when queried, the company told me I need to do a beeter job of keeping track of my inventory. I managed to escape this linen company once and went with a nice local linen company - who then after a year got bought out by this company so now I am back in the same gaslit nightmare scenario as before. Do not use this company for your own sanity, they pray on busy, honest hospitality businesses and their only mantra is profit at any expense.

One of the Worst Linen Companies – Avoid at All Costs

Dealing with this company has been one of the most frustrating experiences we've ever had. To start with, their approach is aggressive and borderline bullying. They trap customers into unfair contracts with their so-called "minimum order" clauses, which are never made clear upfront.

Their service is riddled with dishonesty. Orders regularly arrive incomplete, and to make things worse, you’re charged for items you never received. When you try to resolve the issue, their customer service is shockingly unprofessional, unethical, and completely unwilling to help. Reporting faulty or missing items gets you nowhere – they send out dirty, ripped linen and then refuse any refunds or replacements.

This entire operation feels like a scam. They’re only interested in collecting money, not in delivering quality or treating customers with respect. There’s no accountability, no transparency, and definitely no care for customer satisfaction.

Do yourself a favour: avoid this company entirely. Support a local linen supplier instead – one that values your business and operates with honesty and professionalism. This company is nothing but a disappointment.

Oliver John's professional and friendly help today from showing me linen samples to explaining the processes...was customer service at it's best!
Linen quality is spot on and prices very good!

Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could, typical corporate mentality, customer is always wrong, be aggressive from the start. I would avoid, they have swallowed up all the good small companies over the years.

Exceptionally poor quality

We have used this company for 3 years with acceptable laundry until this year. The quality of many products meant they were unusable so sheets with rips and holes, stained duvet covers, thread bare pillow cases and sheets which were too short for the bed. After many complaints, we were told by the area manager that we were the only ones. Handed in our notice to find that we had a 3 month tie in period. We also used our own linen and were told that we would get compensation - never arrived. Now with another company who are cheaper and the linen is much cleaner (no hairs, stains etc.).

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. The linen was unfit for purpose on many occasions leaving us short of stock. We had to purchase our own linen as an emergency due to 3 bed changes required in order to just successfully change one. We have many photos which have been sent to the company of the awful linen and they are still wanting to charge us and not compensate us for having had to buy our own linen due to their unfit for purpose linen. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are not all the same so shop around, it is worth it! We are much happier now, they are no longer providing us with their disgraceful service and products.

Really disappointing Service

We have been using Stalbridge for approximately 12 months. The service has been intermittent over that time, sometimes better than others but bearable.
On Tuesday, I received a call stating that my service had been placed on hold as an invoice had exceeded 30 days and was now an aged debt. Considering we have had no payment issues previously it came as a surprise. I explained that it must have been an oversight and agreed to pay however the service suspension meant we were not to receive our linen this week despite having a full occupancy. There is no way of getting hold of them as they pass you from pillar to post before ending up at an answering machine service. To add insult to injury, I was informed we would also be charged for the week the service had been suspended even though we had not received the service as it was "what we had signed up for". If you want a smart efficient service, avoid Johnsons Stalbridge. We are now actively looking for an new provider. Really poor service.

Awful company James Rae took 4 months…

Awful company James Rae took 4 months to reply to messages! We been over charged and they refuse to do nothing. We had to pay the cleaner to wash linen as we were short of linen with no felibeey and no explanation. And to add insult we have to stay with them 3 month cancelling period. More expensive than other and worst service ever. Please avoid as you will regret it.

Terrible service

Terrible service. The information provided when setting up an account with Johnson’s Linen is not accurate. The linen was never delivered at the requested quantities so we would constantly have to use our own emergency linen as they could never deliver the missing items in time (they also refused to credit our account or take any responsibility for this). Linen would regularly be delivered with holes and stains. Some of the staff have been horrible to work with including Daniele Trevis.
