Bought my new home through stapleton derby rainford, was easy and seamless and kept aware of the process through every stage, it was a little emotional selling my home but June was amazing and kept me focused, they are a lovely team x

If I could rate this company 0 stars then I would! We moved into a property in St Helens with our 3 month old son and less than 10 days in to our tenancy we reported damp in the main bedroom. Fast forward two years (and a lot of complaints and sleepless nights) and the house was full of mould and damp. Our belongings were ruined and we were told that black mould isn’t dangerous!! It took us handing our notice in for the MD to get involved who, on a visit to our home, advised that photos were all well and good but he needed to see the mould (we had to get rid of our wooden dining room table and chairs due to the mould - we weren’t prepared to let our now two year old eat at a table like that). We were also obviously trying to remove the mould daily due to having a toddler! We have literally been told to wipe down our belongings, and that when we move into a property without damp all “should” be fine. Our son potentially has asthma (he was given an inhaler weeks after moving into that property) and so our confidence isn’t great! Stapleton Derby have basically washed their hands of any responsibility and we are yet to receive even an apology from them!! We moved out in November 2023 and the property has only been advertised for re-rent at the end of January 2024 - yet we were told the property was habitable?!?

Just purchased a property from Stapleton Derby St Helens the vendors solicitor was a nightmare but Sue Bradley at the St Helens branch went above a beyond with support and reassurance. What a pleasure”she was wonnderful” and every phone call she was calm and
supportive and got to the bottom of the problems for all parties involved with numerous phone calls for over a month . Thank you Sue we very much appreciate and recognise all the extra work you did for us. Have a lovely Christmas.

We have been looking for a rental property since mid January 23, of the 10 estate agents we have dealt with, Stapleton Derby was by a long mile the most professional company we dealt with., cannot recommend them enough especially Lindsey who was absolutely brilliant.

I was stupid enough to use this company as my managing agent for properties. I rented out.
As a non resident landlord I expected a professional service from a company that initially charged 12%. This being reduced to due to poor service from them. They have some conscientious staff but are clearly led by and let down by the incompetence and arrogance of the owner.
This company has failed to adequately respond to requests, failed to properly manage my properties and failed to properly discharge their duties in relation to inspections and end of tenancy protocols.
I have since taken my two properties elsewhere to be managed, the standards I now enjoy are beyond comparison.
If you are a landlord think very carefully before using this business, I was always a landlord who cared for my tenants and took my responsibility seriously. Unfortunately this was not the attitude of Stapleton Derby.
