Great experience, very quick turn around with a quote, and a phone call for clarifications.

Market themselves as providing to enthusiasts but if you read beyond their ambiguous policy quotes they are just like any other, market value, nothing that insures to meaningful amount your actual car. My AMI agreed value policy was the same as their market value policy without the ambiguous hobby use definition. Their pairs policy add on that covers upto $3000 is tone deaf, ever paid for a pair of Audi headlights or a set of 4 performance wheels? $3000.aint covering squat. In short deceptive marketing aimed at enthusiasts but actually offer no real benefits over getting a valuation and agreed value policy with AMI or State. Shameful marketing and I look forward to never being a customer.

We were relatively happy with the insurance offered to us by Star Camper Care when purchasing another car, however we were very disappointed to not be able to contact anyone from Star Insurance when we purchased a boat 2 weeks later. It was a Saturday early afternoon and absolutely no one was contactable to offer us insurance on that day. Not wanting to travel home without insurance we went to another company.

Great communication and easy to compare options. Actual people on the phone were clear and pleasant to dela with.

mostly everything was straight forward. there is no clear option or explaination of how you pay by DC / DD - only credit card.

I spoke with 2 employees and they were both friendly and knowlegable. It was a pleasant experience. Quote was sent by email in around 10 minutes so all good.

Each interaction I have had with Star Insurance has been wonderful. Lex explained everything I needed to know to make an informed decision about insuring my new, to me, vehicle. When I called back after we had purchased the car I spoke with Lex about putting my personalised plate on the car - as promised the new policy document was emailed to me the same day. Brilliant customer service!

Ease of getting a quote and setting up a policy

Super quick, super easy. Very happy with their process and pricing.
