Nice cooker. Budget though so don't expect everything to be as you want. 1/ the small ring pan support is poor. The center part makes small saucepans difficult to balance so be careful. It's an oven rack short. Only 2 supplied unless you use the one in upper oven. Which means you can't then use the grill ! Overall it cooks nice. But the grill is FEEBLE. Takes ages to toast anything. & It doesn't toast in the middle / front to rear. Reasonable safety features. Not bad for the money

+. Very easy to use. At the simplest level pull door open, put food in and close, press Power once for full power, and turn dial clockwise to select time. Press start.
+. Stainless steel interior so won’t peel or rust (reviews of some makes cite this problem)

- Meant to be 800w but food still not properly hot for ready meals given the full time on full power listed for a 750w oven eg 3 mins 30 for 750w has needed +20 seconds to be hot
- when door is open, light is on so can’t leave open to let steam out after cooking
- during cooking front window steams up obscuring view (especially as light is not very bright)

Only used for Ready Meals
We’ll get used to it. Pleased with ease of use but disappointed re performance.

It’s now being 5 days since I reported my 7 month old faulty cooker. Still not ad a call from an engineer. It’s Friday tomorrow so I don’t hold any hope to have my cooker working for the weekend. Their service is so bad you ring and get through to a different department and tell all the statesman operators ae busy . We book a call back which is hit and miss you get one minewas at 5 pm. Told an engineer would phone within 2 working days . No one rang rang stateman they then change it to 3 working days. Am waiting for them to ask me to mend it over the phone. The service is rubbish. My tumble broke today it’s old . So I brought a new one there was a statesman one online. But guess what I didn’t buy it due to the bad service.

Pizza oven exploded within 1 month of owning it, sent statesman a video showing the cctv footage of the oven in the garden and they responded saying they cannot assist as the oven is inside?!
I question the intelligence of the people working for that company.

I've had statesman washers for years and they're fine as long as not overloaded and last years with minimal attention. I kept buying because of the good customer service and brilliant local engineer who came out promptly and always had parts. The service is still good now this engineer has retired though they have to order parts. I bought a dryer about two years ago and after initial problem with heating element they replaced whole machine with no problems on new one. I think for price paid the machines are great value. Customer service is also excellent in my experience. couldn't be bothered to click back month at time on date thing had products two years this time

I haven’t had any communication from the company and my tumble dryer has still not been delivered. It may be a problem with their couriers but more communication would be appreciated

Very disappointed with the customer service.

My cooker has not been usable for four months. The oven cuts off and goes cold. The Hobb always works. Have wasted so much food, time & money.
Reported it months ago 07/02/25, whilst still within warranty, it still has not been repaired. Was initially told that the whole unit would be replaced. Then they decided to send an engineer to fix it. Took “months for statesman to find an engineer. Upon his visit the engineer wasn’t able to make a repair.
So statesman have now made a whole new oven available (to my supplier) Still need to get the new cooker delivered, fitted and the old one removed.
The staff are polite and apologetic but it’s got me no where, other than being totally fed up with it all.

For the sake of clarity my other gas appliances continue to fully function.

I have always liked the statement appliance love the trays as and so easy to clean.Would like to know if there is a cookbook for this model.Not very good doing recipes on line technology is something don't always get right.Am very happy with my purchase.

Terrible service under the warranty. The office was ok but the engineer a disgrace. This happened last year. I just received an email asking me to extend the warranty so this is the date of the experience I have submitted.

Good communications and delivered within timeslot.

Excellent customer service from Holly. Kept in touch in a timely manner, efficient and friendly. Even though we had forgotten to send off for the extended guarantee they still supplied a new element for the cooker and posted it first class. Can’t recommend highly enough. There will be Christmas dinner after all. Thanks again Holly

We purchased a statesman oven a few months ago with no issues until now. The oven had a fault turning it’s self on and off repeatedly after a week of phone calls to the retailer we managed to get a replacement oven. We now have a new oven that turns it self on and off repeatedly this very poor quality control and customer service is none existent so we now have to go through the hole long winded process again so no oven for another week or so 😡
