Lovely day trip as we are not local to the store
Served by Karen Duncan who took the time to listen and accommodate or list of requirements for table and chairs
Great selection of furniture and any staff member we had any interaction with was very pleasant and helpful
Tea room area was very clean and appeared good value for money

We found the in store experience fine but watch out for the ‘add ons’
We found the in store experience a pleasant experience. We are pleased with our new chairs.
As we are both retired we accepted and paid extra for assembly and removal of packing. It was expensive adding to the overall spend.
The delivery was later than expected, and the chairs were brought in ready assembled and apart from some polythene wrapping, no extra work seemed to justify the cost .
We questioned the deliver driver about the chairs not requiring assembly, and he said they are built at the warehouse. There was no way we could have confirmed that.

SPECIAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
I have just returned after a visit to the Garden Centre in Sterling Home, Tillicoultry. It’s a long time since I had such wonderful customer service. The gentleman concerned was Colin, who helped me choose some plants. He pushed my trolley to the back door where I bought some pot plants. He then accompanied me to the checkout and out to my car, when he loaded my car with my purchases. Thank you Colin for making my experience special.

Fantastic customer experience
Went to purchase sofa today. Price that was previously given was no longer available. However, despite this Ritchie went above and beyond to accommodate us providing us with a super sofa at a great price.

Recently bought a new suite etc
Recently bought a new suite, tables, lights, picture etc. The staff, Jamie and Billy were very helpful. Our new picture got damaged and the store replaced it which was very much appreciated.
Would recommend using this Sterling store.

Bought a sofa yesterday at Sterling home Dunfermline i have made quite a few purchases over the years with them but had a really good experience. We was served by Jim Wilson he made the experience easy and was a really nice man with a few funny stories i believe Jim has worked for Sterling for 30 years just wanted to say he’s a credit to Sterling Homes great customer service

Staff very nice and helpful,however I have asked on 2 separate occasions for a material sample of my ordered suite,once on the day of ordering and again 4 weeks later. I also used the search ordering direct service from Ercol and have still not received a sample. Overall I have made 3 requests 2 via Sterling's and one direct to Ercol.
I would like a sample of material to enable me to continue shopping for matching accessories.

Fantastic staff who were so helpful and accommodating. The choice of products was amazing and our personal choice was absolutely wonderful as we had went with an idea of what we were looking for but changed our mind due to the choices available. The cafe was an added bonus as we had travelled quite a distance and really enjoyed the treats on the menu.
