Helpful Staff and take the time to meet customer needs
Visited many stores in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Found Sterling at the Bridge of Don to be the most welcoming and the staff are all great. Catherine took the time to come up with various options with what we were looking for.

nicoletti suite
Order a nicoletti suite, cost over £5000. Got it delivered 3 weeks ago. Moved it today to hoover and all you hear is a screech, look under and here instead of a plastic foot is a bare bolt! And my laminate scratched. When we looked over the suite, as we haven't used it and been away. We discovered numerous faults with stitching, staples, pitting etc, duly reported. Contacted trading standards that advised that because its less than 30days we are entitled to a refund. But no you want a "technician" to look at it even though we sent over 20photos. It's a poorly made suite that won't last over 12 years like our other suite. TS also said they need to sent the inspector within the 30days or we can "reject" the suite. Also phoned the furniture ombudsman, but they aren't members!
I told the salesman that it better be a good suite as this would probably be the last one I buy and better be comfy. Looking for a stressfree conclusion to this fiasco. Never had an experience like it.

Great sales and measuring service kirsty very helpful in the shop no rushing us and had samples sent out to us. Bridge of Don store.
Unfortunately their installation people are letting the service down, or 3 to 4 week wait us now going to be 3 months. Had we known this we may not have made these purchases, we may have looked at service elsewhere.

Sterling stock a good range of house furniture and home wares at varying prices. My wife and I visited the Aberdeen store on 4th April 2026 to purchase new furniture items for our living room where we met and was assisted by Catherine, one of the customer service advisors. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant. We never felt rushed and Catherine took time to explain the pros and cons of the various ranges of furniture. During general conversation we learned that she only joined the sales team two weeks previously. That said, she was very professional and knowledgeable. Well done Catherine, you are a credit to Sterling and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Thank you for your assistance.

Elise was very helpful.
Elise was very helpful whilst I choose my outdoor furniture.
My son was with me who is severely affected by Autism and she let him try out the chair and table.
She demonstrated fully how it was assembled and could not have been more helpful.
She told me it was free delivery over the Easter weekend and about the offers available.
