Avoid. We paid more than competitors because we were told a fire risk assessment was included, which never happened. We were given a 3-5 working day turnaround guarantee, then charged extra for it after the fact. The valuation report was missing two entire flats and parking spaces we specifically requested, and included details from what appears to be a different property entirely. When we raised the omissions, the Managing Director argued with us and didn't understand what a Section 5 freehold acquisition was. The corrected report still had wrong calculations because they hadn't checked Land Registry leasehold data. When we pushed for redress on the missing fire risk assessment, the £150 offered was then redirected to cover their own correction costs. Multiple failures at every stage, with no accountability.

I would not give even 1 star to thus company. Our buyer wanted a survey done on our house and a guy called Amit from Sterlingworth came. He was friendly but the report he wrote was full of speculation it didnt still to facts. There was nothing good and the only thing in green was a chimney, we dont have a chimney!
He wrote he didnt see main water stop tap, he didnt even ask us where it is! And he wrote there was stuff in front of wall do something cud be concealed! We had been packing so a couple boxes were there and I told him to move them but he said they not allowed to move.
We had wall removed and beam was put to bear the load, beam was supported on sides by 2 pillars clearly visible and ge wrote we're unable to confirm supports adequacy or existence but saw no sign of distress but advised that local council be called!!
And he wrote it was not raining at the time, there can be leaks or defects which only become evident during heavy rain! I can assure you it would be very evident on walls! How can he speculate!?
Many such things were written in could go on and on that it would frighten a person from buying at all!
So definitely would nit advise anyone going with this company especially not with Amit.

Having engaged with numerous surveyors I could not have been more delighted with the service I got from Sterlingworth. The report I received was comprehensive, full of detail and photos, and the follow-up conversation I had with our surveyor was great. It was obvious that our surveyor had extensive experience and knowledge and was able to explain, discuss and assist us in understanding more about the property. I highly recommend Sterlingworth for absolute peace of mind.

This company surveyed a flat which I purchased. Later on I contacted them to find out where the electricity meter was located but they were unable to provide a response. But more worryingly is that their survey failed to flag some serious irregularities with the boiler and flues installation ! So far no response to my messages and chasing, for the obvious reason.... I would most definitely NOT recommend this company as they are clearly only interested in your money and cannot even bother to follow up a query !
