New mattress
We went into the shop looking for a replacement mattress and were quickly shown a wide range. The assistant was very helpful and we tried each mattress and chose the one we wanted. We paid on the spot and a few days later received a phone call, agreeing when it could be delivered.
The delivery arrived on time. The old mattress was removed and the new one put in place very quickly.
The new mattress is great, so service and delivery have all been good.

Came 27th December bought a mattress…
Came 27th December bought a mattress £500. Plus Told warehouse was off till the 2nd of January. Heard absolutely nothing had to call Saturday 11th .on my receipt it says urgent. Not impressed as at first the guy at Stevensons couldn't even find my order.

I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the misunderstanding of when manufactures reopen after the Christmas period. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide, especially as you mentioned choosing to shop with us again because of our service.
We understand how important clear communication and timely deliveries are, especially for such a significant purchase.
I have reviewed the phone calls from 11th January with our team to improve how we handle paperwork when it isn’t immediately accessible, such as during office closures over the weekend.
I’m glad we could demonstrate how quickly we act once the item is available in our warehouse, and I hope this reflects our commitment to resolving issues as efficiently as possible with the mattress being with you by 14th January.

Went into Stevenson this morning to look for a settee and chair. We were given an instant greeting by Tessa. I liked the fact we could browse and discuss between ourselves before we were approached by staff. Tessa discussed our options with sizing and colours and was very informative and personable. No hard sell and very friendly. Love this store.

Bought a bed, great experience from walking into the showroom to delivery.
Went into the bed showroom to see what was available and was advised by a very pleasant, helpful and above all knowledgeable lady. After much discusion we chose a bed which was at a good price in the sale. A delivery date was arranged and on the agreed date two gentlemen arrived and first of all dismantled our existing bed and took it out to the van for disposal. They then carried the new bed upstairs and assembled it. They demonstrated how access to the storage area was acheived, cleared away all the packageing and left us as very satisfied customers.

A great experience in buying a matress
A great experience in buying a matress. Carolyn was very helpful and gave us advice when we asked for it. She had great knowledge of the mattresses and found us one with a firmness between two others we had tried. She also respected when we wanted time to lay on the matreses and discuss between ourselves. Thank you for helping us find the perfect matress.

AVOID
PLEASE AVOID. They do not answer emails. They do not answer online chat. They do not answer the phone. But they still take your money? It seems other people are also having the same issues. I've contacted my bank for a refund. All you get is an auto email saying someone called "Georgia Redding" has been put on annual leave and will be returning to the office on 25th September 2024? Doesn't sound good, maybe the company is no longer trading. Still taking people's money though and promising 1-2 working day delivery and arrival before Christmas.

Excellent service! I emailed to ask if the item I wanted to purchase was in stock as I had been let down by two other online retailers who ended up cancelling my order as they didn't have it. Stevensons replied straight away saying they did and would send it out straight away. Excellent customer service, communication and super fast delivery. Thankyou so much. Found a lamp to match one I already had but had sold out everywhere else. I ordered it and it arrived so quickly, despite Christmas delivery chaos. Was exactly the same as one I already had and I love the fact that it's a family business. Thank you so much!
