After being promised the world by a certain ePos Now who assured me there system linked into my website. After months of Stress and lots of money wasted I finally bit the bullet and found Stok.ly. They have been fantastic from day 1. I spoke to a really helpful gentlemen who took lots of time with me before I came on board with Stok.ly to make sure everything was right for my business. My account manager has been really helpful in setting up. I now love my system and set-up the ePos is really easy to use and my stock control between my shop and my website Works!!! Great Company, Great People and Great Value. Thank you all for your help.
I’ll start this review by saying we’ve patiently been with Stok.ly for over a year and am comfortable saying it’s had nothing but a negative impact on our business.
We had problems with orders taking well over an hour to sync with the back office (even from their own POS). Support admitted that their servers were overloaded and that they freeze up when someone uploads a large CSV or processes a sale with “too many lines”.
This means that you can’t trust the given stock level without checking all other platforms for pending orders, this alone renders the entire system completely useless.
The hardware that did arrive was never fully functional, despite multiple phone calls and emails to support.
One of the key features we bought into was generating Purchase Orders (As advertised).
After the setup we asked support “how” and was told “It can’t”.
Staff permissions were advertised and shown to us in the demo, but all those functions were non-existent in our back office.
A Stock management app is advertised a useful tool with back office functions, in reality it’s just the mobile version off the POS which can’t do any of the listed functions and would also use up the licence for the till.
After endless errors and going in circles chasing support for promised updates, we’d sent Iain (The director) a long email explaining our problems desperately asking for support & updates and he couldn’t even be bothered to reply.
Disgusting company, avoid.

One simple example, We’d set up our thermal printer which worked on everything but your POS (Even a competitors POS printed flawlessly with no setup). For this simple problem alone, I had to send support 2 emails, followed by a phone call from support to book me with someone to help a few days down the line, which was just a phone call to report the issues to the dev team with no updates or outcome.
I’ve tried contacting you via your mobile multiple times and can assure you that I’ve never spoken to you.
The following is an email I’d sent you on 21.08.2020 (with no response):
Hi Ian,
I tried calling to discuss a few requirements but I haven’t be able to get through.
In the meantime, I’ve run into a few problems that’s brought us to a halt and unfortunately I haven’t been able to get a response/fix from your support.
Integration Error
Currently I’m unable to push items through the eBay channel, and the connection between Woocommerce has become unstrung.
Composite items
We’re set up to make use of the composite items functions.
It’s been explained that it works as intended on the front end, but that the stock count wasn’t correct in the back office, but we can’t seem to make it work at all.
We’ve been promised updates on this but still haven’t had a response.
Preferred Storage Locations
We’ve also been promised an update on how the Preferred Storage Locations will work (I.e printing warehouse labels, find locations on till, filter and export reports in location order).
There have been various errors such as items with a positive stock levels showing as “Out of stock” and appear on the Inventory Warnings.

Hi Ian,
I’m not sure if you’re aware, but we’ve been dealing with an overwhelming amount of errors in Stok.ly.
Your support team has been helpful in reporting the errors, but we don’t seem to be making progress.
It appears your servers are overloaded, we’re experiencing massive delays which is making it difficult to further diagnose errors.
I understand you’ve had sudden growth in the company and that the devs haven’t managed to catch up with marketing, but we’ve been working with Stok.ly for over three months and we still don’t have a useable system in place.
My boss has given me an ultimatum and is looking to pull the plug.
Can you please look into the reported errors and provide definitive answers.
I don’t want to take a step back from Stok.ly as I do believe it has potential, but I’m under pressure and am losing faith.

Having had issues for a long time with a previous API connection from our epos to websites, it was time to find a system that actually worked. After a lot of research I choose Stok.ly. Great Decision! I've had excellent customer service from all I've spoken to. Big thanks to my account manager, Nathan, who has been great getting things setup for me. How often do you get a call from a company just to check if things are ok? Stok.ly did, thanks to Becky for that one. I had one critical issue whilst trying to get stock taking done... phoned at 7pm on a Saturday, Stok.ly answered immediately and Josh had it fixed in 5 minutes! Having left a message asking for more details on something I got a call back from Iain, one of the MDs - at 5pm on a Friday - who was happy to chat and advise me. The reviews on here are all glowing and genuinely Stok.ly deserves them. Its rare to find a tech company that gives the level of service they do. My suggestion to anyone that needs an epos system that syncs with multiple selling platforms is definitely to have a chat with Stok.ly. But when you setup, spend some serious time talking with your account manager to really think about everything that you need the system to do, and how you want data managed... get Stok.ly setup right and it is a powerful bit of kit that can manage multiple platforms and make your life much simpler running your business.
We searched high and low for a software company that could provide us with a perfect solution including an epos system that suits our business as well as ensuring our stock is synced in real time between all of our channels. We've found this in Stok.ly at a fraction of the price we had been quoted.
Their software is always improving and feedback submitted by us is taken on board and welcomed. Some fantastic changes have already been implemented since we joined!
Our account manager Nathan has been amazing, helping every step of the way and ensuring any issues are fixed and resolved within minutes! He's incredibly responsive and very knowledgeable.
We're looking forward to working with Stok.ly for the long run and we'll highly recommend both their software and amazing customer service. It's hard to find an all round great package these days in my opinion but I believe Stok.ly has managed it! Keep up the good work guys!
As a small business the decision to invest in a new EPOS and ultimately the means to take your offer to multi-channel marketing is HUGH! After many recommendations for other solution (e.g., BIRA!), I selected Stok.ly despite relatively few comments on this platform. What a genius I am!!
Stok.ly are superb. The sales team were amazing and actually questioned whether they were the right solution for my unique needs. They worked really hard to understand solutions to these needs before they were comfortable entering a relationship.
The decision made (and cost is not going to put anyone off!!), their onboarding support is world class. From webinars with the MD to the festidious detailed support of my account manager (Charlie), this company have achieved what many aim for, but few deliver.......a customer satisfaction led culture.
A former boss once said "business is easy....stay in stock and don't p*ss your customers off.". He was right, but if you can delight your customers the way they have delighted me (thus far!) then customers will have no hesitation in recommending them as I do.

All of the guys at stok.ly have been fantastic. We are in the middle of setting up our new toll system and they are in hand to help guide us through every little section and work through any teething problems we have. Customer service and communication is Brilliant and we are very happy with the service so far. I feel I can call their team at any time and once fully up and running it will revolutionise our till system, stock control and tax.

The software is very good. There are some points which could be improved on. These points were taken by my account manager so hopefully stock.ly will continue to roll out these suggestions through updates.

I took the plunge just over a year ago to invest in an epos for my small business and it's the best decision I've made in a long time - and choosing Stok.ly to provide it has gone hand in hand with that decision. A friendly and approachable team, always there to support no matter how silly the question. It has enabled me to focus on other parts of the business and has reduced our physical paper waste! It's constantly being updated and improved, with new features being added all the time. I would recommend them to any business, large or small.
After being impressed with the online demo before xmas, we have taken the plunge and committed to the epos system.
We are 5 days into our new Epos system and if the service is anything to go by, then weve picked the right firm. Whilst the Epos system doesn't perform everything id like it to (Catchweights!), I cannot fault the service. Ive never had a company phone me up just to see if im ok and coping well with the new system!!! Amazing. Becky, Jamie and Miles have been fantastic - even giving me out of office numbers should I need support.
In terms of service, so far, ive been bowled over and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. Lovely, knowledgeable people who genuinely want to help you get the most out of your system.
From start to finish these guys cared. They took their time to show me around the set up via an online tool. Answered any questions that I had, gave detailed answers and also took the time to explain a few changes that may be happening in the future.
Im not the most computer minded person so when it came to setting up the new system it was a doddle. Plug in and Tully was always at the end of the phone to help me through step by step! Even when he'd already shown me countless times he took his time and made sure I understood.
Cant thank or recommend these guys enough. Simple system to use with loads of detail to help a business through!
Jamie, Becky and Miles at Stok.ly have been absolutely incredible through our transition to a new ePos system. I was incredibly nervous as I'm not the most technologically advanced person, but no question has been too stupid for these guys. They're knowledgeable, approachable, and nothing is too small when it comes to making sure I'm happy and know what I'm doing with the system. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

He sold us a great package for what we needed and showed us a demo before we purchased.Not pushy at all to make us buy but it really was for us!

Fantastic find. Really helped with my EPOS purchasing choice and the support has been outstanding. Also very affordable for a small shop such as mine.
The help I have had has been excellent and they are always so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.
We had been looking into a new till system for our location for a fair while, and as soon as we got the Stok.ly system going for us, it has been a brilliant change. The Customer Service Team did an amazing job of assisting us with our every request for help or questions about how the system worked and what we could achieve with it.
We had a few stutters at first with having to relearn how to use the whole till system, and adjusting as quickly as we could with the change from an outdated till system to such a fresh new one. Since then, however, and with the updated UI the system has now we have been getting along with it all just fine.

Becky & Tully have helped me set up my entire epos system for my new shop. From the first call, to daily help & system updates or extras I would like adding, the entire team there have been fantastic. I look forward to working with them for many years to come.
The systems are easy to use, but has an extensive reports system for those requiring it. I found Stok.ly to be much easier to deal with than any of the bigger companies (and I have spoken to a lot!). The service I have received has been 10/10. There are contactable!! Real people at the end of the phone or the email. No being put on hold for an hour or we will call you back in 3 days. The guys at Stok.ly are there when you need them. Great work guys, keep it up.

The service Ive had from anyone Ive spoken to at Stok.ly since the very beginning has been nothing but 5 star. I was impressed with the product at Sales Level; Jamie was friendly not pushy and very knowledgeable. Their pricing was also very reasonable. I am pleased that I went with Stok.ly for my Epos system, because now do I not only have a fantastic system that does everything I need it to and more, I have an account manager that is on the end of a phone whenever I have a question. Tully is always happy to help and they take on board any suggestions for improvements or changes that will help my business and others.
