Steven was very efficient, professional and considerate during the process of inspection and after delivering the detailed report as well. We could ask some questions from the report via phone and his answer was very helpful. This is our first time to purchase property and to use surveyor service. His detailed report with additional information was very helpful to understand about purchasing process.

We recently had a full building survey carried out by Stone Survey. They were able the carry out the survey and send us the results very soon after. It was followed up with a phone call to discuss the points of concern . As a result we have withdrawn our offer on the property and will definitely be using them next time when we find another property.

I engaged Steve to conduct a full building survey on a flat I am in the process of buying. While his services are on the pricier side compared to other providers, I found Steve to be very responsive and he organised the survey very quickly and directly with the agent. I received the detailed survey report very quickly, which flagged some issues that I am now using to try to negotiate on the purchase price, and Steve was available for follow up queries I had. I would recommend Steve to other prospective home buyers.

I wasn't particularly happy with the service, unfortunately. I used Stone Survey to purchase a RICS Level 2 HomeBuyers Survey for a 1 bedroom flat in London - my first survey for first time buyer. First of all, I think it would have been fair to be advised to purchase the Level 1: I paid almost £850 (including VAT). My friend, who purchased a property similar to mine, in South Wimbledon, was advised by his surveyor that a level 2 is not necessary for a flat. He paid half of what I paid for his. Secondly, the report was filled in with a lot of information. Some of it I found irrelevant, some of it, I found a bit confusing as I didn't know what would be the actions from my side. I contacted Mr Stone for additional information but I found the post survey support rather poor and superficial.
The report reference is: cr4 3rr, performed on 03/03/2022.

Steve was very easy to communicate with and produced a detailed report of the survey very quickly. It was reassuring to discuss his findings at length and he showed a sincere interest in following-up progress during renegotiations of the property price. Thoroughly recommended.

I had a full condition survey completed by Steve. The process was quick and I received his survey report the next day that was very clear in his findings. He was thorough, respectful, impartial, informative and clearly expert in his field. I feel it to have been educational that has enabled me to act confidently on his findings and research further. He identified hazardous areas, some I was unaware of that had never been identified before, in the 14 years I have lived at the property, such as suspected asbestos. I have since had a separate asbestos survey completed by another company that showed Steve was correct with his suspicion, so have been able to forward his survey to the appropriate persons, with the supported evidence to act on this, and the other hazards he identified, with feelings it will have to be taken seriously.
I thank him for his expertise that has helped a great deal with deciding the best way forwards for me and I will definitely request his services again in future.

I received my survey within three days and I am absolutely happy with how thoroughly Steve conducted the report. It was easy to understand. I contacted Steve directly and left a message, within a few minutes he returned my call and arranged to do the survey within 48 hours.. Incredible! Post the survey Steve sent me a full report and then called to talk me through the details and spent a lengthy amount of time on the call. Great service is in short supply in this day and age, but genuinely Steve and Stone Survey's were absolutely a pleasure to deal with and professional throughout the process. Many thanks Steve. Steve provided us with a very thorough survey that helped inform an upcoming house purchase. Due to time constraints on our side he moved things around to get the survey complete and report written up rapidly which helped us hugely. Will definitely use again on my next house purchase.
