This was a difficult sale because of a clause in the lease, and Dominic our solicitor from Streathers was incredibly patient all the way through, especially in dealing with the solicitor of the buyer who was horrendously slow and difficult.

Dominic at Streathers recently did the conveyancing for our flat purchase in the Highgate area. The transaction was not the most straightforward and required communication within multiple stakeholders, but he navigated it with ease and efficiency. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking to buy in the Highgate area.

Changing my review to give my honest rating - 3 stars at best. Streathers acted for me on my flat sale, speaking as a solicitor myself I can say the service was pretty average. A lot of the time I felt I was paying for an overpriced messenger service to pass on correspondence from the buyers, I really had to push at times to get actual legal advice. Cherry on the top was when (i) I was asked to provide a trust pilot review before the transaction actually completed, leaving me feeling as though I had little choice but to leave a positive review otherwise my sale may not continue to demand their attention and (ii) again shortly before completion, and despite having a fixed fee agreement in place, I was asked if I would be willing to pay an extra £1000 in legal fees because they had gone over their quote - when pressed on what precisely had lead to any extra work on their part as it wasn't a complicated sale, I was told there had been more emails than usual.....Needless to say I did not pay any extra.

In Dominic Coleman, Streathers have an absolute gem of a fellow - I have now had the pleasure of having him manage 3 purchase and one very difficult sale. His attention to detail and ability to get things over the line is outstanding - he is timeous, courteous and so professional - Outstanding doesn't come close.

Streathers could do with updating their system to an online portal that would make form-filling and signing more efficient, but we'd rather deal with that and have Dominic than go anywhere else.

Efficient service for updating our wills. We received clear, prompt and polite replies from both Roger Boustred and Emilija Mikutyte. We sent our updates to Emilija by email, received them for proofreading nine days later, signed them the following day and received the hard copies a few days later.
